when you "miss" a bean, it mean that you could not get to it within the six hour limit.
I might not be totally correct, so someone correct me if I'm wrong

But doesn't a new one come right after?

Not in the same location, no.

It also means you missed that flavor of bean

Yep! That’s what the bean hunt is all about!

A general review:

"First! Thanks!" means that's the first of that bean you have gotten. Second, third, fourth, etc, means you have multiple of that bean and are announcing how many you have now.

"Missed!" means that when you looked, the bean had disappeared, so it is now somewhere else. This signals to everyone, especially those who enjoy hunting for the beans, that it has moved to a new spot, so don't bother checking the last location and start looking elsewhere.

We hide the bean type and location with revelio tags because some people like to look for themselves, so we don't want them accidentally stumbling upon the location of a bean.
