Amanda was a average height blonde hair blue eyed girl she was born in London on July 16th, she was the daughter of a wizard father and a muggle mother. She had an older sister named Sarah and a younger brother named Zach, yet she was the only one of the three to develop magical abilities like her father. Her father, a powerful wizard, had always taken great care to conceal the magic from her and her siblings, as their mother had requested.
Growing up, Amanda was a curious and shy child but also very kind. She spent hours reading books and playing with her siblings, never suspecting the magic that lay hidden beneath the surface of their mundane lives. But on her 8th birthday, everything changed when she developed her powers
Her father told her all about magic and taught her how to control it so that non magical people wouldn't see. Her parents would get her books all about magic and her dad told her that one day she would go to a school where she'd meet other children like her and he would tell her all about the school and about his days at the school. On her 11th birthday, she got the acceptance letter from hogwarts and was eager to learn more but was nervous at the same time.

Hi, unfortunately I cannot process your index application due to the following reasons:
- Your background story does not meet the minimum requirements 220 words as it counts for 204 words Kindly add more details to your background information.
- With your FIOM, my concern is, why did the cake blow up?, what caused it to blow up?. While I have no problem with it, this is something that could easily be fixed. But do make sure it follows the standard required for first instance of magic. (Click me)

Born on July 3rd, 1999 in New Zealand, Sereia Madeleine Clairmont is the daughter of Nathaniel Wade Clairmont and Clementine Dupuis. Nathaniel is a pureblood Seer working as a statistician. Clementine is a Muggle working as a nurse. Though originally from England, Nathaniel moved to New Zealand where he met Clementine, married, and had Sereia with. The family, minus Sereia, currently reside in Nelson, New Zealand.
Growing up, Sereia was raised with little exposure to magic until she showed her first signs, mostly done by her father to not shock her mother. But once Clementine found out, she was skeptical, though she tried to remain open-minded. Sereia never had a close relationship with her mother (amplified by her presentation of magic) as Clementine was always working hard shifts at the hospital and never stayed at home for long.
Her father sent her to private tutoring (one could call it a sort of private school for witches and wizards in their region) at another pureblood family’s residence with a handful of other kids her age. While most of what she learned of magic happened at this private school, her father was the one to teach her divination.
Sereia excelled in divination and it was easily one of her favourite subjects to learn. She had a knack for readings, even surprising her father on some of the readings she did. Her classmates would ask her for readings often, especially love readings for the girls.
Though, unlike her father, Sereia never had visions or prophecies come to her, even after thirteen. By the time she was seventeen, her hair remained brown. It disappointed Nathaniel, not having a Seer daughter. But she was determined to make divination work for her.
Sereia never had siblings as she grew up, but she was particularly close with her other halfblood classmate, Eric Yang. By the end of their magical education, Eric asked her out and the two have been dating ever since. When Sereia was twenty, Eric asked if she wanted to come with him to England where he had gotten into Oxford University. Sereia agreed and packed her bags to England where she now resides with her boyfriend.
In between finishing her basic magical education and moving to England, she helped her dad with his work. But being a statistician was dull, stuck staring at numbers and predicting graphs, and not something she wanted to do for the rest of her life. Instead, she turned her readings from a hobby into a gig, earning small cash on whatever predictions people needed then. When she moved to England, Sereia decided to complete a few courses in childcare so she could get into the workforce and better support herself and her boyfriend. She still, however, practiced divination on the side but didn't turn it into a gig again. The two were comfortable with what they had and Sereia enjoyed working with kids, no matter how tiring it got. However, Eric was the one to tell her that a Divination professor position had opened up at Hogwarts and, while she didn’t initially consider it, his encouragement was what brought her to apply.

Back when she was 8, Sereia was playing a game of ‘Snap!’ with her parents when she grew frustrated at her endless losing streak. Understanding the game took much longer than she expected and, even with the pauses her parents would make to let her shout the magic word, she would still miss the point. Her mother tried to lighten the mood by reminding her that dinner was going to be served and left the game. Sereia had some better luck against her father, but was still struggling. In the heat of her frustration, she grabbed all the cards in the centre and threw them into the air. The cards turned into a flock of white birds and caused a ruckus with their flapping wings. Her father was quick to reverse the transfiguration but it certainly gave her and her mother a shock.

Born on 17 JAN 2012, into a pure blooded family, Violet was always aware about magic. Violet has an Anglo-Indian lineage, her mother being Indian and her father English. Thus she has proficiency in both English and Hindi. Part of her vacations are always spent in India where her nana and Nani are now reside. Both her parents attended Hogwarts, falling in love with each other in their 5th year. Her father was a Slytherin, her mother a gryffindor. The stories of Hogwarts narrated by her parents has always excited her. She was taught basic maths and science, by her mother who mastered muggle studies in her time, despite being a pureblood. Being the only child of her rich parents, she often gets whatever she wants, though her parents would often deny her things that they deem useless. She absolutely loves spending time with her parents and grandparents.
She would often spend her time helping out in gardening and cooking at her mansion in dulverton, or at least try to, sometimes she would just mess up everybody's work. This would make her mother laugh at her innocence.
Violet loved spending time in her mother's library at the mansion which had both magic and muggle fantasies.
The Rohr family would often picnic at the banks of river Barle. The day would often end up with Violet throwing tantrums, not wanting to go back.

Her first instance of magic was at this very river, at the age of 6, when a kid younger than her threw a stone at her. Scared, that it will hit her, she accidentally stopped the stone being thrown at her midway.

Growing up, Jenny had heard mention only a few times that her late great-grandmother, Morwenna, had been some kind of fortune teller. Most of the family seemed to be under the impression that she was just a crazy old woman. Once, Jenny had heard her mother mention Morwenna’s “Inner Eye,” but she wasn’t sure what that meant and she was too young to understand. At family events and gatherings, whenever Morwenna was mentioned, most people just chuckled lightly in amusement and hoped that she rested in peace. But, crazy or not, Jenny had always felt a deeper connection to her great-grandmother, although she had died before Jenny was born. Since before she could form complete sentences, Jenny loved art and drawing. She obviously began with unrecognizable scribbles, but as she got older her obvious talent for art became apparent. When Jenny was eight years old, just a few months after her first instance of magic, she drew an exact and extremely detailed pencil drawing of her great-grandmother, Morwenna, even though she had never met her before.
At the age of ten, Jenny took up painting. She found it to be a deeply insightful and soul-searching activity. She often found herself painting extremely detailed portraits of people she’d never met or seen before. And yet she’d always felt a connection to them in some way or another. Jenny could almost feel their names on the tip of her tongue, but she could never remember them properly. They almost felt like people she’d met in a forgotten dream. Not all her paintings seemed like this, though. Many of her paintings featured her friends and family or, Jenny’s favorite to paint, landscapes of the surrounding countryside, particularly at night time.
Jenny has never had a “vision,” nor have her parents ever suspected her to be a seer. As of now, most of her seer abilities have just been attributed to her imagination and creativity, such as with her artwork. One clear, summer night before starting at Hogwarts, Jenny was out stargazing, just as she had done on several occasions. She was lost in the beauty of the twinkling lights when she saw her first-ever shooting star. After years of stargazing, Jenny had finally witnessed the cosmic phenomenon. She thought she would feel excited about such an event, but rather she had a deep feeling inside her; an intuition: a strange urge to check on her mother.
Jenny quickly ran inside to her mother’s bedroom where she found her mother unconscious on the floor. She cried out for her father who hurried in, alarmed, and was able to stabilize her mother with some quick and precise healing spells. He then took her to the nearby clinic where he worked, and Jenny’s mother was able to make a speedy recovery. Jenny’s parents had claimed what good luck it had been that Jenny found her mother when she did, but Jenny wasn’t so sure it was luck. She didn’t know what had happened, but she did know that it wasn’t simply luck that had helped save her mother. Jenny never told her parents about the shooting star, nor about her feeling of intuition. She quickly grew distracted and excited with her upcoming year at Hogwarts, but she never completely forgot about that shooting star and that deep feeling inside herself.

Jenny Davies was born in Wales and is the only child of Lyra and Cyrus Davies. Her parents are both wizards, making her pureblood. She grew up with very caring parents and grandparents and has an excellent relationship with her mother. Her father, Cyrus, is a Healer who works at his local practice and her mother, Lyra, is an author of poetry. Lyra would often read stories to Jenny as a little girl and share her poetry with her. Both of her parents were sorted into House Ravenclaw and Jenny hoped to be able to be sorted with them.
Her first instance of magic occurred at the age of eight, which confirmed her to be a witch. The summer after she turned 11 she received her Hogwarts letter, much to her and her parents’ delight. She had been studying some of her mother’s old astronomy textbooks and was excited to begin learning magic at Hogwarts.
Jenny’s hobbies include art (mostly drawing and painting), stargazing and studying astronomy, as well as reading and writing. Jenny likes to write poetry, although she isn’t as talented as her mother. She loves hearing stories, especially old tales from history and myths and legends.
Upon her arrival at Hogwarts during the Sorting Ceremony, Jenny was sorted into Hufflepuff. She thought for sure she would be a Ravenclaw due to both her parents, as well as her love for reading, writing, and art. While Jenny isn’t completely antisocial, she didn’t have very many friends growing up and was surprised to be placed in Hufflepuff. But she was excited for her new journey at Hogwarts and to be a part of the Hufflepuff family.

Jenny's first instance of magic came when she was about eight years old. She had just discovered her mother's old astronomy textbook and was very excited to learn more about the cosmos and the night sky. That night, her mother came to tuck her into bed, read her a short story, and turned out the light. Jenny wanted to read the new book so badly, that when she opened up the textbook, the pages were glowing with a soft, dim light so that she would be able to read well into the night. She kept this up for several weeks before she finally told her parents, who were thrilled that she, like them, was a witch.

Theodore, born 6th January 2012, and stands at 4 feet and 9 inches. Hailing from a prosperous upper-middle-class Muggle family nestled in the North of England, Theo's roots extend to the outskirts of the bustling city of Manchester. His father holds esteemed recognition as a barrister, while his mother thrives in the real estate domain, boasting ownership of numerous properties. Although Theo has a German second name, his family have lived in the UK for many generations. He is culturally northern English and shows no other ethnic influences through his cadence or mannerisms.
He has an older brother named Aaron, who lacks any magical inclinations. Despite this, there is no sense of envy between them, as Theo's gift has stirred considerable disruption and rowing within the family.
Theo would receive a private education, making him a (public School boy) in the traditional sense. He would not see his parents often, but the weight of their expectations would always be on his shoulders. It was anticipated that his path would lead to a prestigious university, mirroring his father's journey into the field of law. When the Hogwarts representative visited their home in 2023, convincing Theo's parents that this was the best path for their son proved to be a challenging task. Even now, Theo's parents maintain the belief that magic is not a gift; rather, they see it as a theft, robbing their son of the opportunity for a conventional, prestigious life in law.

Theo first performed unintentional wandless magic at age 9 when he became annoyed at the sound of his brother playing the piano while he was studying. The piano strings snapped one by one and the keys flew across the room in a terrifying spectacle.

As made clear, Costanza would describe her life as perfect before Hogwarts. Most of that has to do with how close she was to her parents and how comfortable she felt to be herself. Unbeknownst to her, there were also tidings at work that made Costanza feel more secure in the life that she had. Whether it was stepping back from the edge of the pier before a particularly large wave drenched the rest of the onlookers or refusing to get on the dinghy for a ride up the Percuil River and feeling justified because the family’s friends had come back with warnings of rough waters, she found herself to be eerily lucky around water. Falmouth had a lot of water, so all Costanza assumed was that she was becoming a coastal Cornwall local like her mother and father, learning the ways of living by the ocean through life experience.
But her luck also manifested in tabletop games. Just before a rogue tried picking a lock, she came alive suddenly to remind them to check the door for traps. When the barbarian wanted to smash something, she tapped them on the shoulder and cast Guidance on them just because she felt like the succeeding difficulty check was higher than what the group assumed. That time she played as a monk, all her uses of Patient Defense paid off and she never found herself overusing ki points. Like her water-related intuition, Costanza felt like she was just becoming comfortable with the game in front of her. Becoming more like her father who loved the game in its entirety. She was her parents’ child and the sea and D&D in the basement were their things and they were slowly becoming her things too.
After the whirlwind that was the reveal of her magical ability, her mother Irene Jewelweed, decided to bring Costanza's biological father around for a visit. Or more, Costanza could feel it. Their talk was almost like pulling teeth. Malachi Kim did not want to be there and Costanza did not feel like sharing. But the man did the best he could, explaining what being a witch meant and how Hogwarts classes would go. There was an aura to him that allowed Costanza to open up more than she had since learning about her mother’s infidelity, and the way Malachi spoke about magic got her to recount stories of her life, as if she wanted the man to know more about her. But when she spoke about her luck with the water, on the tabletop, and in other varying facets of her life, Malachi began to suspect that his lineage had something to do with it.
A couple generations back in the Kim family, a Seer existed. It was Malachi’s great-grandfather who had sporadic visions of the future. Malachi was too young to remember much, but he told Costanza the stories that were passed down to him. The symptoms came about in the same way that they had in Costanza’s life, predicting little things based on intuition until full-blown visions came to him in his teenage years. Though pure-bloods, the Kim's didn’t keep such records that would help them identify a Seer before the man, but they were sure that his talent had not been passed down, until now. Malachi had also made it clear that her mother also had to have some magical and seer heritage far up her family tree which came as a shock to both Irene and Costanza. As far as Irene could recall, there was no sort of magic going on in her family, but Malachi insisted. This prompted the woman to trace back her heritage and unfortunately, she came up short.
Since this chat with Malachi, Costanza spent her days dwelling deeply on this ability and guilting Malachi to buy her books on the topic when they visited Diagon Alley. But the moment she stepped foot on the train, the girl has taken a laissez-faire attitude towards her heritage and her schooling. Because she definitely does not want to be at Hogwarts.

If you somehow managed to catch Costanza in a conversation and asked her about her life before Hogwarts, she would describe is as absolutely perfect. Born to two medical professionals, she grew up in a white two-story that was better than what most of Falmouth had to offer. Even though her parents were busy with their work, they always made time for her and indulged her in their favorite activities. Her father introduced her to the tabletop games he played with his co-workers and her mother made sure Costanza was always sat next to her when reruns of Gilmore Girls and Star Trek were on. They took her out often to places like St. Mawes and Mallet's Cottage so the trio of them could just breathe air away from their life in the town. A child will want what they do not have but for Costanza, even back then, she longed for nothing more than her home, her town, and her parents.
On the day she discovered she was magical, her pretty little life fell apart. The next day, a messenger from a so-called wizard school appeared on their doorstep. After the reveal of Costanza's abilities, she watched as her mother's face ran pale. The woman left her husband and daughter immediately, citing an emergency at work. When she returned that night, she could only beg for her husband's forgiveness. Costanza did not understand in the moment, but when her father left home and didn't come back for over a week, it was time for her mother to come clean. She had apparently been having a long-term, on and off affair with a man. A man that was a wizard. A man that was her biological father.
And so, Costanza was sent to Hogwarts. In any other circumstance, she would love being at a school for learning magic. But in her mind, she could never separate the school from the trauma that brought her there. The very castle she was standing in was a reminder that the past she had so adored would never be hers to go home to again. Things were going to be different now. She was different now.

As her eleventh birthday fast approached, Costanza's parents decided to gift her a Dungeons and Dragons night with her friends from school. Her vast imagination inherited from her storyteller parents adored the idea and the party was held a couple weeks before her birthday. The night was fun and thrilling and Costanza was far too into it. Carried away by her emotions at her friend's character dying, she brought her hand down on the table in anger at the loss. It wasn't a forceful slam. Her small fists couldn't do much damage. Yet, they did. Character models, stacks of character sheets and backstories, the DM's screen. They all went flying.

Moon Winter is a half-blood witch who has extremely dark brown hair that it's almost black. She was born on the 31st of July, 2012. Her eyes are soft and dark brown. She has bangs running down the side of her face. Moon is quite skinny and her height is about 145 centimetres.
Moon Winter is a kind, loyal, sympathetic, yet quite shy girl. She loves helping out; her small flaw would be her shyness. She may not look it, but Moon is quite brave/courageous.
She was born under the care of both her parents, who are both very nice to her. Her mother was a muggle, yet her father was a wizard. However, she grew up quite alone, apart from her family; at school, she was quite shy and only had very few proper friends. She did attend normal school before receiving her letter. Moon Winter had only a vague idea of Hogwarts, and it was explained to her on her 11th birthday. Once the letter was received, her parents fully supported her and guided her (especially her father, who was a wizard and had attended Hogwarts himself).
Moon Winter, at the age of only 5, had accidentally slipped off the roof of her house (which she had very bravely climbed), and didn't get the injury she was expecting. A metre above the ground, she floated for a few seconds before drifting down smoothly. As she was only 5, she barely took notice of it, though her parents did quite proudly.

Sarah was actually very young when she had her first instance of magic. She was 6 years old. She was jealous of her sister who had an amazing birthday cake that was 100 layers tall, held together by magic. Sarah was so angry and jealous, her eyes began to fizz and she tipped the whole cake over!

My father is a half-blood wizard and my mother is a pure-blood wizard. My paternal grandmother is a Muggle and my paternal grandfather is a pure-blood wizard. My father's childhood home was in muggle London, since my paternal grandfather decided to live with his wife, because my paternal great-grandparents didn't accept his marriage with a muggle. Therefore, my father had muggle friends growing up. And when he started a family with my mother, my mother moved in with him in his family home in muggle London, and then they had my siblings and me.
I have 2 siblings, a brother and a sister, both are already at Hogwarts, in Gryffindor. My father is an Auror and my mother is a Mediwizard. I used to live in London with my family, and had my early schooling in a muggle school, until I received my Hogwarts Acceptance Letter. I have many friends in the muggle world, and we lead a rather simple life among the muggles, since my father has so many muggle friends from his childhood, but he also didn't want to reveal his wizarding heritage to them. The only wizards I have known beyond my family include my childhood best friend Olivia and her family. I met Olivia when I was visiting Godric's Hollow at the age of 6, for a one-month-long trip during my father's school friend's wedding.

I was too young to remember it. I had just turned 2 years old a few months before the incident. My parents say it was when I was throwing a tantrum and I made a glass of water fly across the room, which ended up smashing the television (a muggle device where we can watch movies, plays and other shows).

Reginald, also known as Reggie to anyone who talked to him for over 30 seconds, is a short boy with brown-black hair and icy blue eyes inherited from his father's side of the family. From a young age, Reggie had been an adrenaline junkie, a boy who chases dopamine in the most physical ways imaginable despite his mother trying her hardest to keep him safe. He always saw his body as the only thing that will never betray him. The magic his mother showed him wasn't what helped him beat back those bullies. It was his body that never gave up on him, from the day he was born till now.
Born to a muggle father and a magical mother, Reggie's early years were filled with custody battles between his parents. His father, unable to cope with the fact that his mother is a witch that could obliterate him with a swish and flick, resorted to other ways of forgetting the pain after gaining custody of the boy because of his mother's quite incomplete muggle records, being a member of the magical community. This, and his already quite unstable mindset led his father to become more outgoing in the ways he expressed his displeasure. Although it never went further than the verbal side, that was more than enough for young Reggie, a boy of barely 7 now, to crack.
"Why did I even try to get you.... You'll never be anything!"
His father said, as he downed his drink, sitting at the same table Reggie was on.
"N-No...." And the incident that had transpired after those words were spoken is something he refuses to speak about ever again.
This incident led to custody being given to his only other known relative, Irelia Drake, his mother. This was done at the insistence of his father, who was too scared to keep that monster in his house any longer than necessary. Alcohol or not, he still valued his life.
Irelia held her son close as she whispered that it's all going to be okay in his ears, as they left the courtroom.
Growing up under the care of his mother, Reggie's fascination with magic only grew stronger. Despite his mother's reluctance to support his more outrageous aspirations, Reggie was told of his heritage and his family, at least at a base level. The drakes were known for Taming and beating dragons down for society's benefit. But these weren't the footsteps he wanted to follow. No. If he was going to do something, he would do what he promised his father he'd do. He would make something of himself without other people helping him. Not his mother. Not his family. Not anyone. And just because he's a drake, doesn't mean he has to go wrestle dragons to make it big in this world.

Magic swirled around him, as he held his head on the table. He felt like this before. That time before.... When his mother used magic next to him....
"I CAN BE SOMETHING TOO!" And as the scream wrenched its way out of Reggie's throat and the table was shattered out of pure rage, part of the table was lodged into his father's thigh while he was on the ground looking like a scared cat. Staring at his son. Staring at the monster he had birthed with that witch.
His father screamed to the top of his lungs, leading all their neighbors to come rushing in, quickly calling an emergency number for aid and helping his father through his injuries. Meanwhile, Reggie's eyes never left his hands, as tears streamed down his face, a small smile forced it's way through onto his face. He had done that. Somehow.
