Yes, but Hio canon i believe only extends to the deathly hallows, so instead of death eater,make it a group of People with the similar ideology as them who wished for eradication of muggles
3- he dies in a last stand against them as he's protecting a significant number of muggle refugees and their wizard/witch kids and had to put up a last stand until help from ministry arrived, but the help was too late and he died making sure none in his care were harmed.
