1. The Wizarding War was 25 years ago. So you are suggesting that your father was already a fully trained auror 25 years ago.
2. Why would the Ministry send a delegation of aurors? There are not a lot of aurors available due to their extremely difficult and intensive training.
3. As pointed out in point 2, Aurors are highly trained specialists and have magic on their side. This means that it would very difficult to kill her father, we do need to know how exactly he was killed. Also Aurors would not be able to just kill the criminals they chase.

Like yes the wizarding war was 25 years ago but 1- Elias would be around 30 so it's plausible, 2- In the cursed child there are still autos tracking former death eaters
