it’s 1 am and I should be asleep, but I have to say this. Same for me! I was going to apply for Prefect and Mentor, but I can’t because of the Discord. Mentoring people was really what kept me on here for so long, but now I’m kinda just frustrated with a lot of things on here. Especially with the Discord part. I’m worried that the sports teams may eventually have a Discord requirement and that’s going to be terrible for a lot of people if that happens. If Disc becomes a requirement for things like that, I’ll probably just disappear. I’ve been way too stressed about all the changes and everything. That’s one reason why I haven’t been active much the past couple of days. There are also a couple more things frustrating me on here, but I’m not really comfortable sharing them publicly.

It's mostly a communication thing, especially for planning and crisis communication! It just makes things easier overall and allows for easier organization.

I totally agree that the requirement is a bit annoying. I just got it for a mentor role but I don’t intend to use it any more than I absolutely have to. But for people who aren’t allowed or don’t want it it is quite a frustrating change…
