I'm not sure if this is okay to include in the bounty board or even if the omission of the following is intended, but here's a list of missing potions (descriptions in quotations pulled directly from the potion system):

- Angel's Trumpet Draught -- "An uncommon poison that induces a series of potent effects including dryness of mouth, thirst, photophobia, confusion, aggression and hallucination that progressively worsen until the drinker suffers a seizure." [ingested] [RESTRICTED]
- Babbling Beverage -- "Renders the affected party unable to form a coherent sentence" [ingested/topical]
- Blood Root Poison -- "A very strong, uncommon poison. Causes discomfort and burning with skin contact and upon ingestion leads to vomiting and the eventual loss of consciousness" [ingestion/topical] [RESTRICTED]
- Confusing Concoction -- "Causes a heightened sense of paranoia in the affected person, making it difficult to tell friend from foe" [ingestion/topical]
- Dizziness Draught -- "Causes the affected person to feel light-headed and lose their sense of balance" [ingestion/topical]
- Dogbreath Potion -- "Turns every breath of the drinker to flame" [ingestion]
- Essence of Insanity -- "Temporarily renders the drinker utterly mad" [ingestion] [RESTRICTED]
- Felix Felicis -- "Liquid luck, the drinker just can't seem to fail." [ingestion] [RESTRICTED]
- Malevolent Mixture -- "A potion that makes the drinker violently ill and fatigued, making them barely able to move or think" [ingestion] [RESTRICTED]
- Moon Seed Poison -- "Greatly drains the drinker's magical ability, leaving them almost magically inert" [ingestion] [RESTRICTED]

General Fixes
These suggestions are based on potion descriptions in our site potion system and lesson lore -- some of this contradicts what is found on the Harry Potter wiki

Anti-Paralysis:
- specifically cures paralysis caused by spells

Barruffio's Brain Elixer
- could also add that it is usually useless and in some cases, toxic

Cough Potion
- also soothes throat irritation

Cure for Boils
- clears both boils and blemishes, both magical and mundane; ingested

Deflating Draught
- topical

Doxycide:
- sprayed to environment ((this one might be just me being pedantic))

Dr. Ubbly's Oblivious Unction
- States: "A healing potion that is used for maladies of the mind."
- Should be (or something to this effect): "A topical potion for fading non-magical scars, particularly effective against mental scarring."

Draught of Peace:
- Is less about abating anxiety and agitation (though it would also do that) and more about inducing a sense of calm and introspective, meditative connection

Drowsiness Draught
- inhaled, not drank
- Despite its name, doesn't actually induce drowsiness, but rather causes physical fatigue, slows motor function and impairs ability to focus

Erumpent Potion
- add: "--when shattered." (or when exposed to air, or whatever alternative, as its the chemical reaction on contact with air that causes the explosion)

Essence of Dittany
- could specify "severe open wounds"

Fatiguing Infusion
- From: "A potion that has fumes that cause fatigue."
- To: "A potion that has fumes that cause fatigue, dully reflexes, and slowed thinking."

Fire Breathing Potion
- add "--at will." (as the drinker can control when they do or do not breathe fire when under its effects)

Floating Potion
- this is should be topical, not ingested. It affects anything splashed

Garish Pink Poison
- ingested and topical

Garroting Gas
- perhaps adjust the description to be "--chokes those within its fumes." Because the choking stops if they move out of the fumes despite still having been previously exposed to it.

Grand Pepperup Potion
- Cure for magical and mundane flu-like illnesses (as opposed to pepperup which only works on non-magical)

Invisibility Potion
- Not just for drinking. Also applies invisibility on vaporous contact. Ingested = slower onset, lasts longer. Vaporous contact = faster onset, short duration.

Mandrake Restorative Draught
- Doesn't reverse transfigurations. It reverses petrification causes by dark creatures, curses, and other magical means. (although HP wiki says it does reverse transfiguration in which case, the potion system description maybe needs an update?)

Memory Potion
- According to site lore and lessons, this potion functions like a sort of introspective 1st-person pensieve, allowing near perfect recollection of focused memories

Pet Tonic
- Current description is a little misleading since it doesn't affect pet's emotional states so doesn't make them happy, but rather heals magical and non-magical pet illnesses and ailments

Potion of Dreamless Sleep
- also induces drowsiness

Replenishing Potion
- it doesn't affect certain liquids - it just duplicates whatever liquids with which it comes in contact (perhaps "non-magical liquids" if the 'certain liquids' was meant to specify that it doesn't work to replenish potions or magical liquids -- as confirm by Dealla 6/10/2023 in discord hogwarts-help)

Restoration Potion
- Should be "A potion that, when topically applied to an object or living being, undoes the last potion or spell by which they were affected."

Revive Potion
- Could be "When ingested, rouses an unconscious individual back to consciousness." (as they may not be 'sleeping', per se)

Scintillation Solution
- Add: "--and makes them prone to sarcasm."

Shrinking Solution
- It doesn't necessarily make someone itty-bitty as this could also be an antidote to a swelling solution and similar potions/spell effects and may simply return a person back to normal size.

Skele-gro
- also heals fractures in addition to regrowing bones

Vitamix Potion
- also causes the drinker to think more quickly

Volubilis Potion
- can also be used to alter an existing voice

Wiggenweld Potion
- does not cure injuries. It is "A remedy that awakens people from both magical and mundane sleep."

Wit Sharpening Potion
- Should be "Wit-Sharpening Potion"
- Also increases mental processing speed

Made the edits. The potions do not need to have a full listing of uses, these potions originally had things like "bottled galaxy" and "touch the stars" that I did fix/change/remove before making these visible. Still, edited. Bounty given.

Cure for Boils
A potion that clears both boils and blemishes, (both magical and mundane) when ingested.
Correction: Cure for Boils:
A potion that clears both magical and mundane boils and blemishes when ingested.

Floating Potion:
A potion that, upon contact, causes the target to float a few feet above the ground.
