Hi, how do we listen to Muggle music at Hogwarts? Since phones and headphones are not supposed to function?

When a spot on the team opens up it will be announced and then you can apply. Currently I believe all spots are taken though

You can collect daily money in the girl’s dormitory or you can start a shop for banner or stuff like that at leaky cauldron

I know there are clubs that have a newsletter that sometimes pay, but you have to owl the club owners if you really want, and see if they still have them. And theirs errands

In regards to music -- electronic devices are not something that we have at Hogwarts. Culturally we also have limited access or interest in muggle music as we are a wizarding community. I am out of character an avid collector of antiques, a lovely edison victrola (they are about the size of a dresser) has a hand crank and you listen to music on these 3/4 of an inch thick records with a stone needle. The music is not nearly as clear as your headphone music, not very portable and I guess you would call the music "oldies" since the music would have been from the early 1900s but surely we have a few victrolas out and about.

As for jobs --

When we have openings we tend to announce them. Openings happen periodically but as they suggested above -- there are a lot of opportunities to keep busy with clubs, you can also set yourself up a shop if you are looking for profits or to render some service to others that is not already represented.
