I have 11 Sickles less then that. And I also want to buy a Silver Arrow. When I do buy it though, I’ll do a solo thread where I’ll do have Dave’s brother Matthew ask him why he bought that one instead of the Firebolt which is the fastest broom on the market and Dave will say “Oh, I wanted to buy it, but then I realized that the Silver Arrow is much more comfortable. The reason for this is because statwise, the Silver Arrow gives you +3 to every stat whilst the Firebolt only gives +4 to one stat, and while the latter does have some other cool abilities, Dave will never be able to take advantage of them since I’ve decided that Dave’s going to be a duelist until he graduates Hogwarts which means that he won’t ever be a quidditch player unlike Rita. And before someone says that Dave won’t really be able to take advantage of the additional stat points of the Silver Arrow, Dave is just going to use it to fly the Quidditch Pitch whenever no one is practicing and he feels bored. And he’s going to let his siblings ride on it so that’s a good opportunity for me to develop his character a bit more.

I'm getting the Silver Arrow for Hiro not for Kim.
Obviously if you've seen Kim's ency or stalked his posts, you'll know that he's deathly afraid of heights.
So the last thing in the world that he would ever want to get would be a broom. LOL

On the other hand, Hiro is a quidditch fanatic.
He loves it so much and it's the only thing that he feels gives him the feeling of freedom.
Due to money and family 'issues' he can't afford anything more than a school broom.
Ayako gave him a better broom bc she couldn't stand to see him be held back by school brooms.

But he's always wanted a Silver Arrow above any other type of broom.
It has a sentimental value for him.
Even though there are better brooms out there, he's always had his eye on this one.
I even have a story planned out for it when he gets the broom.

Hiro's family is not going to give him one because well you'll understand if you read his ency.
And he won't have enough money to get one himself either.
So instead, his eventual boyfriend Akira is going to give him one as a present right before summer.
It's going to be really sweet and adorable, so that's going to be really fun.
