Backstory
Growing up in Paisley, Scotland was the ideal place to be. After all, how could you not enjoy life when you lived in a two story house with 4 vacant bedrooms and a library overlooking a pasture of lush green grass? She lived with her mother and father, Winton and Clara, a pediatric surgeon and herbological remedy selling witch. Her Mother was the one with the magic in the family, and they were over joyed to find out she inherited the trait. Trailing back to her Great Great Great Greats, magic was apparent. Her mother's parents both had it, too, her grandmother owning a shop in wizard London for magical scrolls and quills, and grandfather in the herbology field also. Back home she had a field of sheep, all of which she named. And of course she had her own personal room dedicated to her pet budgies (of which she had 12).
She was very intrigued with breeding the budgies to make the prettiest colored ones. Since her First Instance of Magic, she’s been mixing and matching budgies at her own accord. Other than her budgies, she enjoys sewing clothing and reading books. Very much an oldie at heart, she loathes spotify and only listens to music on her record player (thrifted and refurbished with an insane amount of money, obviously). She is a gifted player of the Cello, an instrument her father played, and his father played, and so on. Due to her lack of siblings, she picked up the instrument, and has been playing it thrice weekly since.
FIOM
It was 2020 and she’d just been given her first pair of budgies. They bred and layed their own eggs, and by November she had 4 perfect little budgies. However, upon returning from school, one of her budgies had disappeared! She searched the house with her parents and after 10 minutes (what an inconvenience) had nothing left to do but resort to a screaming fit. She was furious. For her perfect set of 4 to be ruined and now be diminished to nothing but 3! She wanted the budgie back and she wanted it NOW. A burning, pinchy feeling bubbled up in her skin. As the anger grew, she felt irritated by her parents soothing words and pats on the back. Her ears turned pink and she clenched her little fists. After the first shrill whistle, her parents were stunned to see the budgies had gone from being white, to now appearing in vibrant different shades of pink, cyan, and yellow! And at the noise of Jrue shrieking, the lost budgie popped out of a little hidey hole tucked in the corner of the cage. He’d been found! … and was now a shimmery shade of orange and gold. She opened her eyes and gasped with joy as she reached into the cage, embracing the prodigal bird, not paying attention to her parents congratulations.

Reducio
Jrue had only been apparent of her mother's genes for a few years. It wasn't news to her father, who'd figured it out by the honeymoon after their wedding. However, Jrue had always been aware of her mother's blatant difference from the rest of the world. From her oddly pale skin, to her deep and striking eyes, black and contrasting to the rest of her face. She was 5'8, not too absurd for a woman, but did tower over Jrue, who was only 4'7. When her mother would brush her hair, Jrue would always remark, "Mother, why are your hands so cold? Do you need your mittens?" Her mother would brush her hair, and comment away, saying "Thank you, but it's just my genes, dear..."
When her family would take trips to the beach, her mother would make her wear a full sleeve swimsuit and shorts, and apply SPF 90 to her legs and face. She'd grumble and groan about the sun's rays, she herself dressed in a sun shirt and skirt, perched beneath an umbrella they'd always stake down. She was never allowed to play long, always needing to reapply sunscreen or take a break.
Their family dinner was usually horribly plain, and strangely metallic. They'd always have rice and stew, or beans and stew, or just plain old soup. But it was always tangy and thick, and smelled like a tin can. When her mother finally explained it to her at the age of 8, Jrue was horrified, and vowed to eat nothing but toast and butter (which lasted all of lunch before she was coaxed into eating normally again). Her father on the other hand, always shook his head. "There's nothing wrong with my soup;" take a long slurp, and resume saying "mmh, nice and hot and hearty." with a not so sly wink at Jrue's mom.
It had turned out that the soup she'd been fed had contained a certain amount of Sheep's blood, much to her dismay. She was used to it by the time she had found out, but would never be able to forgive her mother's sly use of the substance. "You don't have to keep eating my special dinner. You can share the same one as your father if you'd wish. I just made it an option to you-" her mother had said with a shrug.
When her mother sat her down and explained it, she was traumatized. Knowing she'd never be used to the sun, finally understanding what the goofy gappy grin she had was caused by. She wasn't even mad, just, confused.
"So, you're a vampire?"
"Much to my dismay." Her mother had sighed.
"And I'm a..."
"Dhampir. You're only half vampire, thanks to your dad."
"... But, how?"
"Well, your grandparents are vampires. A terrible, horrible accident happened when they were traveling to visit a muggle village in South America in the 80s. Grandfather was sampling plants and herbs in the jungle. Natural accident, they were travelling by horseback to get to this village. It was far out and remote, the only way to get there..."
"Horseback, yeah, I remember grandmother telling me about that. Real glad she left the vampire bit out tho..."
"It was out in the mountains, too far from Hospital. They were safe after, thank God. But after a horrible mountain slide, rocks, trees... Let's just say it's a miracle they're still here. The woman who'd been riding the other horse had been a vampire, she was a naturalist and herbologist in the area also, turned by a group of vampires living far up in the mountains. She knew there'd be no way for them to survive, unless she turned them... your grandmother told me the woman saw the picture of your uncle and them tucked into a pocket of grandfather's jacket. She didn't leave their side until they both woke up, bless her soul. They were horrified, but with one young child at home, were more grateful than scornful."
"Wow... so now I'm stuck with yucky skin and scratchy nails?"
Jrue has since consumed meals containing blood on a roughly once weekly basis. Sometimes she likes the taste, sometimes she doesn't. She is glad, however, for her pointy teeth. She'll be opening a package, and think, "Wow. This would sure be easier if I had some pointy fangs to poke a hole in this." and remember her mother's handy dandy genetics that she had inherited.

ReducioOne of the remarks that Calista hates most of all, but that unfortunately everyone makes to her, is about her resemblance to her mother. As a child, she would have smiled with pleasure and innocence. But since her mother's death, she no longer felt the desire to do so. The worst part was that the adults making this comment focused primarily on her beauty, comparing it to Ophelia Miller's. As if that were the most important thing. Her appearance. But she couldn't blame them for that. It was in her genes. Calista has Veela genes in her blood.
By tracing back to his maternal ancestors, one could find, deep in a forest in Greece, Sybilla, a Veela, and Kallias, a Vodyanov. These were Calista's great-grandparents, now deceased. They had a daughter, a Veela, in 1955, whom they named Katarina. She was an intelligent and reserved young woman, but secretly dreamy and romantic. After her studies, she embarked on a world tour and, during a trip to France, she met a Muggle of Chinese descent named Xuân. It was love at first sight, and they married soon after. They had their first daughter in 1984, and then a second in 1986.
These two girls, born to a Veela woman and a Muggle, were radiantly beautiful. The elder, Ophelia, had inherited her mother's Greek elegance, while the younger, Nerissa, possessed Asian features. Ophelia was the only one to be declared Muggle-born witch. She spent her seven years at Hogwarts in Ravenclaw. After finishing her studies, during a wizarding event, she saw one of the students she had sometimes met at Hogwarts. His name was Andrés, and they fell in love. They married in 2012 and had their first child two years later; Calista, then a year later, a second daughter, Eunice. Just like their mother and aunt, the two sisters possessed a mesmerizing beauty, each possessing 25% of the Veela gene.
They grew up peacefully in Hampshire, watched over by their mother's tenderness and their father's love. This tranquility did not last long, however. Ophelia died one day in May 2017 from injuries sustained by a hypogriff while conducting research, when Calista was only eight years old. Andrés was heartbroken, but he later remarried a woman named Vivian. She was divorced and already had a son named Orfeas. Yuki would never accept them both into her family. Her stepmother's coldness and contempt shone through in every gesture, just like Orféas, who seemed to hate Calista as much as she hated him.
She hated the idea of accepting two strangers into their family, but her father didn't even seem to notice Vivian's behavior. Still grieving, he was trying to move on as best he could. Calista couldn't bring herself to talk to him about it; it would have been too much for him.
So she waited patiently for her father's wounds to heal, enduring the contempt of her stepmother. Perhaps Vivian could not stand to see on Calista's face that of the woman who had preceded her, but this idea seemed ridiculous given that she herself was divorced and had a son. No, Vivian had no reason to hate her.
Calista therefore bears her mother's features on her face. She is not ashamed of it, no, on the contrary. It's just that she misses her.
Character Backstory 533 words:
ReducioClear, limpid eyes reflecting every emotion, untamed hair of astonishing length, and pale skin. Calista has everything it takes to be beautiful. She's of average height and weight. Her still-plump, rosy cheeks reflect her young age, and her full lips contrast with her fair complexion. Her gestures betray a confidence that isn't entirely trusting, but her expression remains impassive most of the time, most often when she is uncomfortable and unsure how to act. Despite everything, the young girl remains elegant in all circumstances, unintentionally revealing a sign of her upbringing.
Calista is a reserved and intelligent girl. Shy and quiet by nature, she rarely speaks, even with her loved ones. Often behind, she is very observant of those around her. She likes to know how things work. She will always study a situation before acting. Very thoughtful, she dislikes impulsive actions and is a perfectionist. Despite her impassivity, sometimes misunderstood by others, there is actually a young girl who is insecure and ready to do anything to please everyone. She can also have a tender side, very rare, where she will give in to gentleness. She also has strong human values and great empathy for others. Daily, Calista enjoys reading and nature, in peace.
Calista's elegance and good manners didn't come from nowhere. One of her most distant ancestors is said to have passed on royal blood to her. And not just any royal blood; Calista is the daughter of a Greek mother and an English father. It was her mother who instilled in her the values she possesses today, straight from Greece. Her mother, Ophelia, was a wise and intelligent witch. She was also very beautiful. As for his father, Andrés, he is a just, good and courageous man. Calista also has a sister, one year younger, named Eunice.
Tragedy has nevertheless befallen this beautiful family.
Ophelia was a woman passionate about fantastic beasts, because having grown up in a Muggle family, she only saw them when she traveled to the wizarding world. She had specialized in hippogriffs. As she embarked on new research, one day, a colleague mocked an hipogriff. He was about to be attacked by the beast, but Ophelia intervened and was seriously injured.
She later died from the injuries she sustained, one day in May, when Calista was eight years old. Since then, Andrés has remarried, to a woman named Vivian, herself divorced from her husband and already the mother of a son, Orfeas one year older than her.
A strained relationship developed between Calista, her stepmother, and her stepbrother. She hated the idea of welcoming strangers into her home and still refuses to spend time with Orfeas, who also seems to despise her from the bottom of his heart. Vivian's coldness and rigidity repelled Calista, but seemed to barely affect Andrés's heart, blinded by love and still grieving Ophelia's death, which gradually distanced him from his daughter.
Calista nevertheless maintains a close relationship with her younger sister, Eunice. Calista is a half-blood witch, her father being a pure-blood wizard and her mother being Muggle-born. Andrés was in Gryffindor house while his mother was in Ravenclaw. As for his brother-in-law, he was in Slytherin, just like Vivian.
First Instance of Magic 154 words:
ReducioThe first manifestation of Calista's powers occurred one summer day while she was playing by a lake with Eunice. Seven and six years old respectively, the two girls were sitting on the edge of the dock overlooking the lake.
Then, in a moment of distraction, Calista looked behind her, searching for her parents. When she turned around, she saw with horror that Eunice had disappeared and realized she had fallen into the lake. Overcome with fear, and unable to swim, she knelt on the ground, trying to catch a glimpse of her sister, her hand, to grab her.
Seeing nothing, she began to cry, unsure what to do, and squeezed her eyes shut, hoping something, anything, would happen. When she opened them again, she found her sister, curled up on the ground, unconscious, her hair and clothes still soaked. This was one of the events that made her become even more protective of Eunice.
Thanks for your work,
Have a nice day.
Cali.

Character Backstory:
Rowan was born in London on the night of 12 December 2013 during a snowstorm that seemed to engulf the entire city. His mother was Scarlett Frost, a mediwitch from an old pureblood english family and his father was Valery Alexandrovitch Komarov, a vampire from an influential vampiric russian family. After a few months in the capital, the little family moved to Kingsbury Hall, the Frost family's ancestral home in Kingsbury, North Warwickshire. It was there that he grew up, loved and surrounded by his family.
His early years were relatively peaceful, occasionally interrupted by the Howlers of his paternal grand-father. Rowan was a quiet child. From an early age, he showed a growing interest in books and drawing. He was often seen spending his time reading in the library or drawing in the manor's gardens, sketching the plants and animals on the estate.
When he was old enough, Rowan enrolled in the nearest preparatory magic school, a few kilometres from the manor. Rowan proved to be a diligent, studious and respectful pupil, but rather solitary. He participated little in class, answering only when questioned, but handed in impeccable written assignments.
His androgynous and delicate appearance earned him mixed reactions from his classmates. The girls adored him, braiding his hair while listening to the fantastic stories he told. The boys, on the other hand, hated him and let him know it. He soon became the target of their mockery and bullying.
240 words
First Instance of Magic:
Rowan was eight years old when his first magical manifestation occurred. It was in the evening, after school. The boys in his class had had the brilliant idea of chasing him with stones and insults.
Exhausted, Rowan took refuge at the top of the tallest tree in the village and waited.
Hours passed and night fell. Rowan was freezing and could no longer feel his hands, which eventually let go. Feeling himself falling into the void, he screamed and closed his eyes, expecting pain. But it never came. Instead, he floated slowly to the ground, where he landed gently, as if carried by the wind.
His parents, who had been searching for him, worried, arrived at the same moment and watched, helpless and amazed, as the scene unfolded before their eyes.
That evening, Rowan was treated to a nice hot bath and hot chocolate to help him recover from his ordeal.
Special Race Application : Dhampir
ReducioRowan was only four years old when he realised that his nature would change his entire life.
A few days before Christmas, the family mansion was bustling with activity. Rowan, not understanding everything that was going on, watched with wide-eyed amazement as his parents and the servants bustled about, packing and unpacking suitcases, trunks and various bags.
‘We're going to visit Daddy's family,’ his mother had said one evening before sending him out to play in the snow.
The journey to the cold country was tiring. Rowan was not used to portkeys or apparating. He was therefore ill when he arrived.
On Christmas Eve, they transplaned to the designated room in the Komarov mansion. Rowan, in his mother's arms, looked around in wonder. A servant then led them to the Great Reception Room, where the whole family was already gathered. In the middle of the room stood a huge table covered with cutlery and dishes of all kinds. When they entered, all eyes turned to them, and Rowan, intimidated, hid behind his mother's skirts.
Valery and his family exchanged a few hugs. Scarlett received a few nods accompanied by a polite but unenthusiastic ‘good evening’. When Rowan peeked out from behind his mother's skirts, a few smiles appeared on the adults' faces.
Then the first toast was raised. For the vampires, a glass of blood. For Scarlett, who stood a little apart, a glass of wine.
Suddenly, Valery's mother approached Rowan and handed him a glass of blood.
‘Mama,’ Valery whispered, worried.
The little boy, completely oblivious to what was going on, took the glass and drank its contents in a few gulps under the appreciative gaze of the vampires. When he had finished, he raised his blue eyes and, under everyone's gaze, smiled, revealing his small canines retracting at the same time.
Immediately, the atmosphere changed. The smiles disappeared and time seemed to stand still. One of Valery's brothers turned away, his face visibly disgusted, while the grandmother, still crouched down, stood up and took a few steps back. The heavy silence that followed was broken by the icy voice of the head of the family.
- Полукровка[Half-breed]
Valery tensed and stepped in front of his son, his fists clenched.
“I advise you not to repeat that word.”
Rowan, not understanding what was happening but sensing the tension, began to cry. Scarlett took him in her arms, trying to calm him down, without much success.
Seeing his family's attitude toward his wife and child, Valery made the second biggest decision of his life.
“Very well. Since we're not welcome here, we're leaving. Come on, Scarlett.”
With his arm around his wife's shoulders, he guided her to the door and, before closing it behind him, turned around and said,
“Don't expect to see me again. Not me, not my wife, not my son. Adieu.”
And he left.
A few hours later, as Valery was putting his son to bed, his son asked him.
“Daddy, why were they happy and then not happy anymore? Why did we leave? It's Christmas.”
“I know, sweetheart. They thought you would be like me, a vampire. But you have some of your mother's traits too. That makes you a Dhampir.A child born of a vampire and a human. That's why they got angry.”
“Why?”
“Because they don't like difference.”
“My difference is that my teeth disappear?”
“That's right. And other things too, which I'll explain when you're older.”
The little boy nodded, without really understanding, but vowed, at the age of four, never to smile in front of strangers again.
After a kiss from his parents, Rowan fell asleep, dreaming that a little tooth fairy came to steal his teeth.

Application - word count: 1,172: Rhys has always been an adventurous child, and since he learned that he wasn't a squib during one of his rambles around the country house estate, he has taken to more outdoor adventures. He almost hoped that putting himself out there again would create more opportunities for his magic to show. Maybe he'd show so much that they'd let him get a wand early? That desire to wander is what lead him to sneak out of his bedroom in the middle of the night in January 2025. It was a cold, crisp night, but the full moon was shining, and one of his cousins had told him that there's a spirit that wanders the Welsh countryside on cold, moonlit nights... the spirit is supposed to be what inspired the Mary Llwyd, and Rhys hoped that he could meet it and trade stories with it.
After sneaking out of the house, he quickly found his way to a path that lead to the rolling hills. He had brought a torch, but only turned it on when he was confident he was far enough away that his mother wouldn't see it flashing in the dark. He wandered over the hills, into stands of trees, and all around looking for a spirit with a horse's skull for a head. He did not find it. Around 3am, though, he heard a howl in the distance.
Wolves were extinct on the island... at least, natural wolves were. Rhys knew what full moons were related to, but he didn't think there could be any werewolves near the family property. His mother would have warned him... tried to protect him... or worked with the other families to find it and send it packing off to Cardiff. The howl came again, and it sounded closer.
Spinning, Rhys tried to determine where home was... he was up hill, so it must be down. He took off running, but within moments he heard the howl again. It was between him and home. He turned to run at a different angle, panting. Moments later, he heard a slavering growl. It was too close. Much too close. He began to panic, and decided that hiding was his only option.
His eyes scrabbled over the area around him until he knew where he was. In this part of the estate, there was a small cave that was tucked under a tree. He bolted for it, and as he ran, the werewolf came into sight behind him. It wasn't running at full speed, he could tell. It kept pace with him easily, but Rhys was sweating and fighting to keep upright. Just when he thought he was going to collapse, he got to the tree. Ducking under the roots and into the cave, he pressed as deep into it possible, molding his back to the rock wall. The werewolf snarled and growled and its meaty paws tried to dig him out.
Rhys knew that this was the most serious moment of his short life. If he didn't stay away from this beast, he would die. The werewolf wasn't able to fit inside with him, but it could reach its claws in and it kept swiping for him, trying to catch and drag him out. Any time it got too close, Rhys would bring his heel down hard on the werewolf's paw. One time, though, it was too smart for him. As his heel came down, the paw swiped in another direction, and Rhys cried out as the claws dug into his calf.
The rest of the night went on like that, and Rhys got a few more scratches. They oozed blood, and that made him nauseous, but he forced himself to stay awake. Eventually, the werewolf left him alone. The sun came up, and Rhys finally relaxed. He passed out as soon as the adrenaline faded, and when he woke up, he knew there was trouble.
He used his jumper to wrap his calves, trying to bandage them and stop the claw marks from bleeding too much as he limped his way home. The midmorning light made it easy to find the house, and as soon as he was inside, he quickly found his mother and threw himself into her arms, sobbing out the story of what happened to him. She was shocked, but kept calling him her brave boy. When he was done crying, she went to her greenhouse and got the dittany leaves to mix with powdered silver, and she worked them into his slashed calves. When that was done, she bandaged them and looked him in the eyes to tell him "Never tell anyone other than me or your father what happened last night."
Over the next few weeks, his wounds healed, but did leave scars. Rhys took to wearing long socks or tall boots to hide them. The next month, though, when the moon began to grow full, his mother and father took him to the cellar of the house. It was mostly used to store furniture and wine, but they had repurposed a room just for him. The door was reinforced with bands of metal and there wasn't a window. It was terrifying. He took his favorite jumper in when they locked him inside, just because it made him feel safer. He could hear his mother crying as they walked away.
He transformed that night, into a small, lanky werewolf pup. While in wolf-shape, he destroyed his jumper. Shredded it until it was nothing but pillow filler. He cried about that in the morning. It was a silly thing to cry about, his father said, but that didn't stop the tears. That set the pattern of his life for the short months between when it happened and when he took the train to London to catch the Hogwarts Express. Every month, as soon as the moon was more than 90% full, Rhys was required to sleep in the reinforced cell. He didn't always transform on the shoulder nights, but sometimes he did.
His parents began meeting with local officials and ministry staff to search out the beast. They said it had been spotted, leaving out what happened to Rhys. Sure, werewolves weren't thought of the same way they had been when his parents were students... but they were still monstrous. The Gwyn family did not want that label. In the summer, when his invitation to Hogwarts came, his father wrote an owl back to explain Rhys's condition, and that he would need a special arrangement when the moon was full. The school, miraculously, said that they could accommodate that need. Rhys was thrilled... he'd been worrying for months that the school would reject him over this.
His overall physical appearance has not changed much. Just the scars on his lower legs. But, now he has a wolf-shape. It's small, as far as werewolves go, because Rhys is just 11. An unaware person might think him a large dog. His fur is a reddish brown, several shades darker than his own hair.
Character Backstory - word count: 277: The Gwyn family is a well-respected pure-blood family that has been in Cardiff since before England conquered the country. Due to their magic, the family was able to hold onto their property outside the city and a home in the wealthy district. That meant that Rhys grew up moving between the homes. His mother preferred the country house and his father the town home, but they came together for Sunday dinners. The family's vault in Gringotts wasn't overflowing, but there was always coin when they went shopping. Rhys's mother taught him about the plants on their estate, and his father taught him about the political history of their nation. Tutors covered the rest.
The family had a few wizarding neighbors that made up their social circle, and Rhys grew up playing with the children of those families. All told, his life was comfortable and it was expected that he would go to Hogwarts, like his parents did once he was old enough. He doesn't have any siblings, and his cousins lived in other parts of Wales. The larger family came together during the holidays, so he did get to meet the aunts, uncles, and cousins that put his parents into context.
His older cousins have attended Hogwarts, so he has heard about many of the traditions and quirks of the school. Rhys has been looking forward to this birthday especially, because he would finally be able to go to Hogwarts himself. Get his own wand and actually learn magic. Seeing his cousins with their wands had always made him a bit jealous. He wanted to be able to get out there and learn, to become the best.
First Instance of Magic - word count: 326: When Rhys was 8, he was on one of his rambles around the countryside, and found a network of small valleys and gulches. There were interesting plants growing in between the hills that he'd never seen on the hillsides. He lost track of time as he wandered and did not realize how far he was going. When his thirst and hunger finally pushed through his excitement, he realized that dusk had come and he had no idea where he actually was. He tried turning back and trying to remember all the twists and turns he'd taken as he explored. When full dark had fallen, he was well and truly lost and well beyond scared. He tried running in the dark and kept tripping.
Within a few minutes, his knees and hands were bloody from the falls. At one moment, he just sat down on a root and cried into his sleeve. When he looked up, there was a small orb of light floating above him. It had a gentle glow to it and made him feel a bit better. When he stood up, it floated higher... he tried to catch it, and it kept floating up. While trying to catch it, he climbed up the valley wall. At the crest, he could see much farther than before.
As he wandered, the globe floated a little above his head and in front of him. Suddenly, his mother apparated next to him, hugged him fiercely, then apparated them home. She'd been searching for him, and seen the light from the distance. At home, his mother saw the scraped knees and worried the story out of him, focusing on when and how the light happened. She was thrilled and they immediately took a car into the city to meet his father for dinner. They let him have whatever he wanted. He was thrilled and from that moment, he understood that succeeding at magic would earn him praise and treats.

He lived on a farm. His mom Brandy his dad Jamie, eldest brother James, Youngest brother Shepherd. Has two dogs Lola, she is a Short-Haired German Shepherd mixed with an Australian Shepherd. Toby is a Pit bull mixed with a Terrier. He has chickens, sheep, horses, cows, pigs, and donkeys. The other pets he has are snakes, bunnies, and spiders. He never had any friends. He was the smartest in all of his classes, he was gonna skip two grades but he did not want to. The first friend he ever had was in the second grade, but even then it did not last long. Apparently he was only my friend because he was new, and did't know anybody. He was always the teachers pet, and loved to learn all he could. When he was at home he would usually hang out in his room alone. They never went into town, only on rare occasions. They had all they needed on his their farm and he loved to go hunting.
First instance of magic:
Reducio
The first time he ever did magic was when he was eight. He was at the edge of the school yard reading a book. Then Pete, a big brute walked over followed by his posse. Pete was the school bully. "What you doing, reading", Pete said. "Ya and what is it to you", I replied. "Well this is my school yard and I don't like nerds". Pete grabbed my book from my hands and threw it over the fence. "That was my book, I replied. Him and his posse laughed. He got up, but Pete pushed him back down. With a scowl he looked at Pete and his posse, and they all flew back. They looked up at me and ran away, with a strange look on their faces. When questioned by the teachers and principal, they said they could not recall what had happened. His mom took him out of school, so

Character Backstory: Sophie lived at Meadows manor in London, hidden from muggles. Her family was quite rich and she could get whatever she wanted. Her parents were different from the rest of the family though, they were tolerant of muggles and encouraged her to be the same. Still, they never let her near muggles, for fear of exposing their world and leading to avoidable questioning. She was the older of two siblings and her younger sister, Lily, looked up to her enormously. Sophie had been encouraged to study and uphold the family honour and reputation from a young age. Apart from muggle studies lessons she took separately to understand the muggle world, she also went to a wizarding prep school ( and was an excellent student there because she worked hard and was naturally bright. Her family was one of the pureblood families who loved socialising and were always inviting someone or the other to dinner. Sophie didn't mind, except for one thing, that if she made a mistake or spilt something, it would reflect badly on the whole family and not just her. Even though she knew her parents wouldn't scold her, she still felt like it was her duty to be a credit to them. When she got her Hogwarts letter, the family had mixed reactions, Sophie was excited and nervous in equal measure, her parents were pleased as a punch, and her sister, though she knew it was a phenomenal opportunity, still felt sad that they'd have to be separated
First Instance of Magic:Sophie's first instance of magic happened when she was five and gardening in the manor's front garden. She had just been yelled at by her parents and was in a rather angry mood, and putting all of it into shovelling out the soil. Suddenly, all the soil from the place she was digging from flew out by itself and landed in a neat pile - on her head! She didn't forget this for a long time!

There were, however, a girl and a boy living next door to her. The girl, Hannah, was her age while the boy, Finn, was a year older. They played outside a lot together. She got along well with Hannah, since they both like reading a lot. Samantha's mother would often take them to the library nearby to let them pick a book to read for that week. Hannah and Finn are her only friends, her father tried to make Samantha join the local girls soccer team, but she had a hard time fitting in. She doesn't like to work a lot with others which isn't something that goes hand in hand with a team sport. Eventually, her father let her quit the sport after a few weeks. Her mother tried to push her to play the harp after that, but they would often have arguments about how long she would need to practice, with Samantha wanting to practice less so she could spend more time with her nose in a book.
Her first instance of magic was during an argument with her mother. They were in her room and during the argument, she screamed and the books flew off the shelves that were next to her desk. Samantha likes reading a lot, it is one of her hobbies.

Backstory:She was a Muggle-born. She was not magic-aware previously until her first instance of wandless magic happened. Her parents were born in Wales, while she was born in Scotland, where her parents shifted before her birth. Her relatives were also Muggles and they knew nothing about magic whatsoever. There was only this one aunt of hers, who was described as strange by her parents, but she had never met her aunt before because she had died due to cancer.Anabiyah used to attend a Muggle school, where she would get bullied and her peers would call her a nerd, as she loved reading books. She was a top student in her school, but even that didnt get her popular with the kids in her school She was an only child and in search of a loyal friend who would be loyal to her.Even though she sometimes becomes hopeless, she still manages to get up and do what has to be done, with courage, bravery and determination. Her mother and father are both kind and simple parents who knew nothing about magic previously, until a professer from Hogwarts came and explained it all to them. After that they had no objections to their child being sent to a Magical Wizarding school. They both adored their daughter very much and raised her to be a kind and loving person. Her mental state was fine, and she was a happy girl, but deep inside, she felt lonely and depressed and often felt like she had something missing in her life.Anabiyah had always wanted to be an Artist when she grew up and had a deep passion and hobby in drawing and painting still life sketches and human potraits. Her main hobbys included painting, reading and skating(a muggle sport in which people run on wheels).
FIOM
Her first instance of wandless magic happened at her home in Scotland, at the age of 10 and a half, when she was playing in the garden happily in the sun, excited because her parents were taking her out for ice cream at her favourite resturaunt later that day when due to her excitedness and joy, she accidently made a flower float in the air. She was surprised and rubbed her eyes
I must be tired from all this playing, I should go rest for a bit.

Name: Elowin Pankhurst
School year: First
Link to the Character Page: I don’t know how to create it can someone please help!
Character statistics:
Wisdom- 8
Arcane strength: 6
Strength: 4
Evasion: 3
Accuracy: 8
Stamina-6
Character special race/talent: none
Character backstory and first instance of magic: Elowin was born to a Mrs and Mr Pankhurst who were expecting a boy. They got over it but were still saddened. Before me they had my 14 year old sister Cora, who deeply shamed them by being a Squib. I grew up in a household of rules which were broken by me but I had an ok childhood.
I was put in Ravenclaw following my fathers footsteps (my mother was in Slytherin).
I am a loyal vegetarian and my mothers attempts to make me eat meat… let’s just say I won…
My house was easily recognisable by the lurid curtains of my room…The insanely fancy garden… the ginger cat walking round like he owned the place (which he kinda did).
Recently I had a letter from home telling me I am to be a big sister!!
My sister feels left out in a magical family and is sometimes jealous of me. I love my little family but sometimes they are too much for me so I go and read a good book in my garden.
FIOM:
when I was six my parents were having a big fight over something and I was extremely scared and I ran Upstairs and burrowed under my duvet. A few seconds later suddenly I couldn’t hear any fighting noises so I tiptoed downstairs and saw that my mother and father’s lips had severely swelled so that they could not argue or fight. They were disbelieving that I had done it to them and I was slightly upset though my sister believed me which was a consolation.
