Exploring Plant life w/Jake Morris Finished

Santario would smile at him kindly when he said he was going to go draw. “Of course, Jake, that is after all why you came here. I hope you enjoy the rest of summer camp and maybe we’ll meet again after the school year starts.” When he thanked her it would elicit another smile. “No need to thank me, but you are most welcome. Have fun.” With that she watched the boy go do what he said he would. She would take a moment to finish looking at the plants that she had wanted to look at before walking away herself.

She hoped the young boy would make it in this school, he seemed gentle and kind. This school from what she had heard didn’t exactly cater to someone as soft as him. Was it fair? No, but it was what it was. To her it almost seemed like a school like this would try to prey on someone like Jake. She decided to make a mental note about the boy to check on him every now and again to see how he was doing if she could. At least someone like her was tough enough to make it without friends because she’d already been doing it for so long it was just the norm for her now. Being around people was strange. With those final thoughts, she walked into her cabin to grab her camera bag and set out again to find a different place to watch through her lens.
