XXX"Wow, really?" Eonaria was surprised at Holly's apparent skill level. She couldn't imagine getting on a horse for the first time and having absolutely nothing to hold on to. "I suppose it's not as scary with Hazel because you're not too far off the ground."
XXXAfter they went outside, Eonaria watched Holly mount her horse without the mounting block, giving her a small, polite round of applause. "Nice! Looks like you really know your way around the pegasi." What was the mounting block doing all the way out there, anyway? Unfortunately, Eonaria was not confident in her capabilities of performing the same feat as Holly, but she didn't want to lead Caramel all the way out to the mounting block either, so she gave it her best shot.
XXXShe put her foot into the stirr-up, only to realise it was the wrong foot. Okay, not the best start. She swapped sides and hoisted herself up, reaching for the saddle horn, but her jump didn't give quite enough height. Resultingly, she missed the saddle horn and her fingernails scraped against the texture of the saddle which was a bit painful. Eonaria did manage to get herself onto the saddle, but it certainly didn't look good. She laughed as she got herself properly situated, patting Caramel's mane. "Sorry, buddy." She smiled sheepishly at Holly. "Pegasi aren't my strongest suit."
XXX"Donuts? I guess the pegasi wouldn't mind eating a slightly hay-dusted donut, but I don't think it would taste very good," Eonaria chuckled softly, watching Holly feed Hazel a granola bar. Caramel swung his head around to peek at the girl on his back, and Eonaria didn't need a Poseidon kid to translate what that meant. "Ah..." she patted her pockets. Nothing. All the sugar cubes and other treats were still in the stable. "Got any extra treats?" she asked Holly.
