Mylo had heard of impervius, but had also knew that casting certain spells on living beings didn't always go so well. "It might work, but I'm also not sure if it's a spell that can be cast on living beings. Maybe check with one of the professors, they'd probably know if it would work. I think Chaska might appreciate not getting wet if it does work." He says, smiling at the cat who was enjoying all the attention she was getting at the moment.

Her next question was certainly something to think about, ever since Mylo got Ash they'd had a constant companion by his side. Although Ash was one to wander about by himself as well, most of the time he enjoyed staying by Mylo's side and getting attention.

"I think the best thing is that he's always there, although he can be grumpy and not want to be around people he'll still stay decently close you know? Like he'll never wander off for days on end, I've heard some cats do that. I also love that he does like to play when he's in the mood for it, it's cute to watch him case the mouse on a string, or just the string itself" He chuckled to himself, remembering the time Ash had gotten himself tangled in a bit of string and Mylo had to come rescue him.

He was always there. Rose understood that. Sometimes, feline companionship was far better than human company. Rose loved talking to people, learning about them, and spending time with them, but she had to admit that sometimes hanging out with people was exhausting. With cats, you could always just... be. Yeah, maybe they'd judge you a little bit, but it wouldn't take away from the love that they had for you. Chaska made Rose feel a little less alone on the days she was lonely. without requiring or asking anything of her (except maybe pets or treats or cuddles), and Rose would forever appreciate that. "I like that," Rose murmured in response.

Rose looked down at her own cat, whose ears were turning, listening to all the sounds around her. The girl smiled. "That's a tough one. It's weird- I got her the summer after my first year, but if I'm honest... It's hard to remember what it was like before I got her," the redhead laughed. Rose paused, taking a moment to think before she answered Mylo's question.

"She makes me happy," Rose said simply. "She makes me smile and laugh even on days I don't feel good. Even if she's just sitting with me, it makes me feel better. She'll do all these little things that lift my spirits, like find me after class sometimes or chase butterflies when we go on walks." Rose stroked Chaska's head, her eyes warm. "She reminds me of all the joy there is in this world, even if sometimes I can't see it."

Chaska sat up, jumping off of Rose's lap and giving a big stretch. She turned to look at the three still on the bench and chirped. "I think she's done," shegiggled, standing up. "I'm glad we found you guys. It was nice to meet Ash," Rose said. Chaska began to trot away, tail up. "Would you guys want to come on a walk with us or would you rather stay here? I'll probably get something to eat soon."

Everything Rose mentioned about Chaska resonated within Mylo, they'd even gotten Ash around the same time as Rose had gotten Chaska. But her talking about how Chaska made her happy and see the good in the world was exactly how Mylo felt about Ash.

"Yeah, I understand what you mean. Ash has helped me so many times when I got too anxious or sad and he'd just come and cuddle, one time he even brought me his favourite toy to try and help me calm down." Mylo mentioned, still remembering the feeling of calm that washed over them as they saw Ash move towards him with his favourite toy in his mouth just to dump in in Mylo's lap and sit there waiting for him to play with it.

Still looking down fondly at Ash Mylo hadn't noticed Chaska jumping down until a small sound escaped her, one that Mylo recognised as sign of 'I'm done' which Rose confirmed as she mentioned the two of them leaving to go on a walk. He was happy to hear Rose offer for them to come with her and although Ash seemed to be content to stay on Mylo's lap Mylo also knew that he did have to get up at some point.

"I'd love to thanks, I think I need to get some circulation going in my legs again." He chuckled, disturbing Ash who didn't seem to mind it too much and putting him on the ground. Standing up Mylo smiled at Rose and wondered where they'd go off to for their walk.
