Pineapple on pizza...I don't even know how to start describing the loathing I have of it. I dislike pineapple in general, but on pizza...that is a crime. You do not put something so bad on something so good. Just do us all a favor and order pepperoni. I have strong feelings about this.

I used to HATE pineapple on pizza until we went out and had like 5 pizzas, one of which was a Hawaiian one.

Pineapple on pizza is one of the ultimate pizza pairings, as long as you get it from a good pizza place. In the baking process, the pineapple carmelizes and balances the savory flavorings of other toppings (i.e. bacon and ham on a Hawaiian) and accentuates the taste of the cheese and sauce as well as offering a slight tang, which I find delightful. Plus, if you get flavored crust or garlic butter sauce, the pineapple tends to pair well with those salty flavors. Pineapple is one of the best fruits, and putting it on something where it genuinely lifts the culinary experience is a no-brainer. It earns a big thumbs up from me, and, like Pericles, I am an expert on the subject.

I love Hawaiian pizza!!! The only thing is the pineapple hot, but I let my slice cool down a bit so the pineapple isn't that warm!

I think it tastes pretty good, the sweetness is tastey. I mean, I'll always prefer chease, but it didn't hurt to mix it up a bit. Hot fruits sound a bit gross, but really when I had it, it wasn't to bad. I haven't had Hawaiian pizza, but I have just had pineapple on pizza, and it wasn't bad, pretty tasty...

I’m probably biased because I’m allergic to raw pineapple, so I don’t eat it a lot, and I’m also vegetarian so I’ve never tried Hawaiian pizza. That said, I did try pineapple on a veggie pizza once and it was nasty. Yall are wild. If I wanted a sweet pizza, I’d do chocolate!

I'm a vegetarian and also hate a lot of veggie toppings for pizza (Like mushrooms, onions, and artichokes) so pineapple is honestly one of the only toppings I can even get other than cheese lol. I also just love the way the sweetness of the fruit contrasts with the savory of the pizza! Definitely my favorite pizza topping.

I could say that I quite enjoy it… yeah, unless it is all- cold. Only hot pizzas taste good, if you ask me. Though my fav pizza topping is supreme [licks lips] ‘cause it’s hot, … wait, it also contains pineapple, so I’ll say yes for pineapple on pizza.

Pineapple on pizza. Where to start. Ok, The flavors will compliment each other. The sweetness just gives it that melt in your mouth sensation. I LOVE IT!
