Siobhan beamed happily. It was so wonderful to have someone who wanted to be avaliable to talk to outside of classes. It was hard for her to interact with students of her own house outside of classes but she managed to make lots of friends from other houses. She hoped that perhaps they would be able to be friends after this encounter but she was careful so as not to chase her off. But seeing as the girl had suggested that maybe she could be her tutor, she was sure they'd cross paths again.

"I've been meaning to join the martial arts club. I haven't been able to join the Herbology club just yet because I wanted to bring an assortment of my own plants from my greenhouse here in Killarney. Ma family and I live on the feirm- farm up the road." Siobhan explained pointing behind her. She was very proud of her families farm and would always take an opportunity to brag about how diligently her parents and family worked to make sure that everyone had ample opportunity to do whatever it was that interested them.

"I hadn't thought about a sport... Truthfully brooms scare me a little at the moment. I don't know that I could be that high off the ground." Siobhan explained as she adjusted the way she was carrying her book.

The thought of a martial arts club scared Ophelia. She was a let's go study person, a learning about new things person, a cozy-up-and-read person. She was not a person who would enjoy learning martial arts. Even if it was just to defend herself. She didn't have anything against those who would want to do such a thing in their free time, a person like Siobhan, but she wouldn't want to join, even if the girl in front of her invited her to.

"Do you have your own part of the farm where you grow your own plants?" Ophelia asked curiously as Siobhan mentioned a farm. For her family, she and, believe it or not, her restless father were both big readers. They each had their own shelves of books, and only rarely would they share their reading material with the other. She wondered if Siobhan's family did a similar thing or if they gardened together, as a family.

"Personally, I don't know much about plants, even though I like biology. I'm more of an animal person." And she didn't say that lightly. Many girls, when Ophelia was younger, would agree with her, saying that they too were animal enthusiasts. When she asked what their favorite animals were, they would most often say dog, because dogs were cute. Young Ophelia would then proceed to get angry at them for liking such a simple creature when many others out there, like her personal favorite, the peacock, were much cooler. She would also get angry when they couldn't even recall any interesting facts about their favorite animals.

Ophelia giggled at Siobhan's fear of brooms, though she didn't do it in a mean way. Or, at least, she hoped not, since she agreed with the girl. In the beginning, when she first used her Nimbus, she'd been terrified for falling or crashing into one object or another, or not being about to control it. Slowly, she'd learned to trust herself and her broom. Now, though she still wasn't the fastest or the best at maneuvering a broom, she prided herself on being able to at least ride one without falling flat on her face or panicking. "The brooms are hard to get used to," She agreed, hoping the girl in front of her didn't think of her as rude for giggling. "And if you don't like them, you could always try duelling, as you said earlier."

Siobhan nodded along as Ophelia mentioned the other options that came along with Quidditch and Broom Racing. She giggled herself as Ophelia agreed that brooms could be quite difficult to get used to. She rather liked talking to this girl. She was quite interesting and seemed to have lots in common with Siobhan which was somthing she greatly appreciated.

"You know I love animals as well. My family doesn't have many- but we do have sheep. Kind of predictable but we love them all the same." Siobhan said with a happy smile. "But if you like animals, were you planning on taking Care of Magical Creature in third year? I know it's quite early, but I've already started planning my schedule out for it..."

Siobhan felt silly asking but she couldn't contain her excitement for the class. Even though it was two years away, she was already actively planning out her schedule for that year. She had even considered sneaking down to the COMC pens during the spring semester in an attempt to see a niffler. When she had read through her Fantastic Beasts book, she had learned of the mischevious little creatures and had a very deep desire to see one and possibly adopt one later in life if it was even possible.

Besides, Divination seemed confusing and she wasn't sure she needed to take Muggle Studies. But nevertheless she wondered if Ophelia was that kind of planner.

"Sorry if it seems... out there. I just like to plan things even if they're far away. Aren't I a sight? We haven't even finished this year and I'm already two years ahead in my choices!" Siobhan laughed.

Ophelia nodded with interest as Siobhan explained that her family had sheep on their farm. She giggled again. Sheep weren't the most boring animals on the planet, contrary to popular opinion, but they weren't the most exciting either.

"Sheep are interesting." Ophelia tried to keep a straight face as she said it, but she fell into a fit of giggles once more. "What's your favourite animal and why?" She asked as she got out of her giggling, hoping to farther the conversation.

As Siobhan asked about Ophelia's plans for the futures and the possibility of her taking Care of Magical Creatures, the Ravenclaw grinned. Actually, she had thought about what she'd wanted to do in the future. She was a worrier and a planner, just like Siobhan it seemed, and that made her plan out her future classes and everything, though not in the most careful detail.

Ophelia had been excited at the notion of Care of Magical Creatures, a dream class option for her, and Ancient Runes. Muggle Studies, however, wasn't her topmost option. As for Muggle Studies, it was basically history, which she loved, but had already learned. Her time would be better spent doing other subjects and maybe even extracurricular activities, like Quidditch, Duelling, or Broom Racing.

"Oh, I'm definitely taking Care of Magical Creatures in third year. Will you? And, don't worry, it isn't odd, at least, not to me. I do the same thing." She let out a light laugh. "Do you have your other classes for the future planned out as well? I think I'm going to take Study of Ancient Runes too."
