Yeahh, she was pretty sure that the team Kit was now competing against had been her teammates last year- or at least some of them. It wasn't unexpected, nor was she sure it actually gave any strategic advantages considering the other teammates were different, but it was certainly curious especially with the amount of schools now partaking in the summer camps. She'd glance between her three new teammates, curious to see how they'd perform out on the pitch. They all looked determined- or maybe just angry- which Kit would take as a good and potentially very entertaining sign. The chasers, at least the ones currently flying, were the complete Beauxbatons unit which she appreciated, offering them each a nod before she kicked off into the air. How nice it was to be back up in the air even as the rain chilled her skin- at least there wasn't fog or lightning to really mess with the game.

It felt different than the practice match that they had before, a lot more nerve racking compared to it if Miharu were to be honest but still, she remained calm. Once she lets that get to her, it’ll affect her for the rest of the game and she’d rather not let that happen, not in her first official game and certainly not for her team.

“Okay, let’s do this. Focus.” Miharu whispered as she took a deep breath to get her head in the game. She'll be needing a lot of concentration and focus to get her job as Seeker done for the sake of her team. She mounted her broom to take her place in the sky, feeling the pouring gentle rain as she ascended before taking a quick look at her teammates and then to their opponents. A strong opponent but she has trusts in her teammates that they could keep up.

This was the first time Milo had been confined to the benches instead of whizzing about overhead like his teammates but he understood it couldn't be helped. Needs of the team and all that. Either way, if he got pulled in at any point he would annihilate the pitch. It was a shame that one of the schools they were up against was the school that they were combined with last year but it was still exciting, at least he could see the movements of the other team and make a strategy in his head from here.

Did the girl next to him just say something? Quentin was too busy rehearsing his strategy to catch what she said. (His strategy being: hit, dodge, hit, hit, dodge, or was it dodge, dodge, hit?)

Oh, the girl was the other beater. A fellow classmate in the midst of all these foreigners—a friendly face. Well, a friendly face in a not-so-friendly contortion. Hmm, she must be scowling to threaten the other team. Quentin followed suit, furrowing his brows and scrunching his nose as best he could. He was a beater after all! The wrestlers of the air. Last summer he was a benched beater, but this time they gave him a bat and a broom.

He figured the other beater had wished him good luck. With his goofy grin flinging back into place, he whispered back to her, "Bonne chance, mon amie." Good luck, my friend.

Delphine pulled her ponytail tighter, the gleaming golden strands flickering in the overcast light. She was dressed in her quidditch uniform, a bright and bubbly expression radiating a warmth that was lacking from the atmosphere.

Her school had been paired up with the South American team. She'd never been to the continent, but it sprung to mind images of heat and warmth and wild jungles. She scrunched her nose up in distaste. Not for her. She much enjoyed the sweet Southern France climate where she could laze the day away in the vineyard. She was sure though that her teammates were fierce competitors and that was all that mattered.

Clapping her hands together to warm them, she mounted her broom and flew into position.

You know when there’s some kind of butterfly feeling in your stomach when you’re about to do something that’s the first time? That’s how Egon felt, having been prepared for Quidditch’s first game in which he would defend the honor of his school against the French and Brazilian school. And he was on the same team as a school whose name was hard to pronounce, his language always twisted when he tried to say it out loud. That’s why he hadn’t really bothered trying to figure out how to pronounce it when there was a game to keep

an eye on... With his Nimbus, he was standing until he pounced, having lifted his legs and his body glued to the broom, where he could notice the incredible speed. The wind gently brushed on his face, being a wonderful feeling to experience.

After a minute of distraction, he ended up positioning himself in front of the posts in which he had to protect, since his role in the quidditch was to be keeper, next to that of another school as well. His constitution was slightly big and thanks to constant training, he kept in excellent shape. He was putting his gloves on what he was looking at with interest the announcer, who began to release the quaffle and the blugders, for consequent snitch. He couldn’t help rolling his eyes and focusing on the game, ignoring the person who had lightly hit him. Sitting on the broom, he could notice how the robe he wore for the team moved slightly, depending on where the wind blew. The game had been taken for granted, and Egon had to keep an eye on all the moves to prevent them from scoring on his posts. Egon stood in position but moved slightly to both sides...

Aryaan floated in the air, almost lazily. He was feeling much more confident about this whole affair now that he had had some experience flying this broom in a competitive setting. And the fact that he was facing off against 'bruxo was nostalgic, even if he was only playing Chaser this game and not a seeker.

Narumi seemed to sense that something was off about him, but he only laughed off his friend's comment. "Hey, with you here? I could probably sleep in peace, knowing you'd knock them all out of the iron." A small pause, as he considered the opposition.

"HEY GUYS," he called out to every player on the field. "REMEMBER TO HAVE FUN, AND NOT BE TOO SALTY WHEN MIHARU-CHAN CATCHES THE SNITCH RIGHT AWAY"
