Moderation Post Round II

While waiting for the Griffith + Stroudefielde team of Match Three to inform Cash of their next move for round two, the Beater left piste número tres number three for the time being. The fourth year then climbed down from the platform and climbed back to the next platform with the number four on it.

"Alright, matey! time for 'nother round,"The faux Captain Jack Sparrow said with the best pirate-y accent they can muster. "The acting captain for this tourney please step up to seal your fate,"The Cuban descendant tried to stay in character but they snickered to themselves, feeling a bit silly about it.

From Hufflepuff tea, Emma stepped up and for the Ravenclaw team, it was Damion. Cash then instructed both of them to take turns to who their intended target was. The Quidditch player nodded their head and asked for both Emma and Damion to turn to their spot. Once Cash saw both of the team ready to continue the rumble, the green eyes step back.

Unlike the previous round, where both Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw team members take turns throwing their spider, this round Cash like to mix it up a bit. Cash then pointed out to Damion White. The Raven Beater looked at André Lebedev dead in his eyes and the boy catapulted their projectile.

But it seems fate was not so kind to White as his sticky spider did not land anywhere near Lebedev. The spider only stops short in the middle of the piste. "Tough luck, kiddo. You got him next time,"Cash said then shrug their shoulder. And it seems André Lebedev had some sort of grudge against the other fourth year.

The badger boy throws his sticky spider and it seems Lebedev shared the same fate as the one before him. His sticky spider failed to hit Damion White and stuck into Cash's pirate boots. "Come on. lads! Put your back and muscles into it. My mother could throw better than both of you,"Cash mocked both of the boys as politely as they could be.

The next person who will up and swing the sticky spider is Emma Wynn. Just like in the earlier round, both Lebedev and Wynn targeted one sole person which is Damion White. Perhaps Wynn had gotten over her fear of spiders whether it is fake or real. Her aim was a bit better than in the first round.

Her sticky spider almost hit the one who stood opposing her but perhaps White already anticipated her move and when the older boy saw the spider fly towards his way, he took a good amount of distance to dodge the incoming attack. "That's what I am talking about, Wynn! You almost got him. Keep your spirit up!"Cash smiled at their fellow Prefect.

Last but not least it was the blonde eagle which is Bailey Glade. Bailey Glade picked up her sticky spider from the bucket and play it for a bit by tossing up and down like she trying to guess the weight of the fake spider. Once she stopped playing with the spider with a powerful pitch, she project the spider onto Emma Wynn.

Not only it landed with a powerful smackked on Wynn's shoulder. Glade aimed successfully made the young Hufflepuff take a bit of step back and stagger a bit. "Joder! fucking hell! that was some powerful throw, Glade!"They commented.

"Have you considered playing for the Ravenclaw Quidditch team? You could be a great Chaser. And I guarantee no Keeper could block your throw if you throw like that in every game"Cash continued on as they were still a bit surprised by Glade's throwing force. Then their eyes then fleeted to Wynn. "You okay there, Wynn? That was some powerful pitch,"The young socialite asked.

Once Wynn gives her confirmation whether she was okay or not, Cash will nod their head and they will get ready for what comes next.

Throwing was hard, Bailey had to admit. But, she did manage to hit her intended target, Emma, on her second try. She HAD thrown it a bit harder than she intended - it hit Emma on the shoulder with a tad too much force - it stuck but made Emma stumble back a little. Mentally cheering, Bailey blushed when Cass exclaimed in something that sounded like spanish, and then complemented her, or at least commented on her throw.
Being the good friend she was, Bailey called over to Emma, concerned for Emma's well being - "Emma - are you ok? I did not mean to hit you that hard - it looked like it was slightly painful..."
Brushing off her worry, assuring herself that Emma would be fine, and that it was ONLY a spider, Bailey picked up another spider, her last spider, for the last round, so she could throw it.
Smiling at damion, Bailey was absently wondering hu this is a really popular party - how did kim pull it off? he really does have a lot of connections.. as do i though, we probably know everyone, or at least 80% of people here at Hogwarts
Smiling to herself, Bailey took aim and threw possably for the last time.

Emma laughed, covering her mouth quickly as a spider landed on the boots of Cash, their moderator. She had to admit that it was kind of funny that instead of hitting the intended target they hit the pirate boots. “sorry! But it was kind of funny. But then she realized it was now her turn to throw. Cringing but feeling slightly more comfortable with the fake spiders, she quickly grabbed one out of the bucket realizing just how short the game was by the fact there was only one remaining spider. Gulping, she tossed it by one leg to her intended target. She groaned as Damion stepped out of the way too quickly. Honestly it seemed like no one was going to win. She’d be happy with a tie, as long as she didn’t have one of those creepy crawlers landing on her.

She had turned away and hadn’t been paying much attention, forgetting that her friend still had her turn. Screeching at the feeling on her shoulder, she did a little dance slapping at the spider on her shoulder. “Ahhhhhhh!!!!!!! Whyyyyyy?!!!! Ughhhhhh”

Taking a shuddering breath in, she made a half-handed gesture towards Bailey. “Fine, I’m….f-f-fine.” She wasn’t sure she wanted to continue but they were also close to the end so at least there was that. Maybe she could just quickly step out of the way again and hope for the best. She couldn’t abandon her partner after all.
