Sorry it took me so long to reply! How have your Christmas Holidays been? Anything fun? What do the muggles always say, was it "a new year, a new me"? Well, I hope you haven't also taken that saying for this year because I've been quite enjoying our letters and it would be a shame if you suddenly didn't want to draw anymore or play piano in the Rehearsal Room.

That stuff aside, January 16th works wonderfully for me. I like your Idea with bringing a flower from the Hufflepuff Common Room because we certainly don't have any in the Slytherin Common Room. I think the empty Classroom on the second floor would work really great since there are a few tables and chairs that we can use, as well as good light and easy access.

So sorry for this short letter but I didn't feel as if there was much to say. I'll see you on the morning of January 16th, hope you don't mind getting paint stuck somewhere because that will most likely happen!

My normal Christmas holiday and my Christmas holidays since starting at Hogwarts have been quite different. Now, it's a lot of catching up with my Aunt Maggie, her boyfriend Mark, and all my muggle friends. We to pick up some quick games - whether that's football (soccer) or hockey, depending if there's any snow. Normally London doesn't get too much snow in December. I spend a lot of time at Church as well but that's no different than life before Hogwarts.

This Christmas holiday holds a new anticipation. I plan to meet up with my father who I have only met with two other times in my life - the first not even entirely sure that it was him. We've written some letters, but there's an infinite amount of questions I want to ask him and I fear there's very little answers I will receive.

Hopefully I can tell you good news about that come January 16th! I hope you're holiday is wonderful and you get out of it all things good. Looking forward to hearing from you at our painting session.
