Eventually, they arrived at the location, a secluded small area surrounded by a bit of bamboo and vegetation. It had a slight road that went uphill towards a small structure that had a few benches beneath a small roof. Secluded, peaceful, and beautiful. The only oddity was how secretive the spot felt. The road itself was slightly hidden, and it was only by chance that Narumi and Akira had discovered it in the past. Secret duels or couples trying to hide their relationship should definitely visit such a location like this. Originally it was a place in which Narumi and Akira studied and test new skills and theories upon their skills and spells, now it seemed slightly abandoned and eerily quiet rather than calming.
"Never saw a point in being a blue robe. Never felt right, and besides, those robes only show how good you can apply the material to a piece of paper. I've met more students who only know how to apply their knowledge in class, rather than outside of it." Narumi didn't have a change in expression. He considered rising up the robe colors again, but he didn't feel comfortable with it. He however didn't seem uncomfortable with being asked the question, it wasn't the first time someone asked him about it.
Narumi continued to walk with Hiro till they reached the top of the hill where the small structure lay. He chuckled at Hiro's feisty nature and found it adorable to Narumi's more sinister nature. Narumi was glad Hiro was like this and hadn't met Narumi when he was in blue robes. Back then, Narumi would punch students till they had to go towards the hospital section of Mahoutokoro. "If a real fight is what you want, then a real fight is what you'll get," Narumi took a few steps and bowed toward Hiro in a more traditional and honorable fashion. He gave a very devious grin that could make the blood of any colored robe run cold. He took a martial stance, and it could certainly be noted that Narumi had a much larger figure than Hiro: "Trust me, I know Akira better than anyone here at Mahoutokoro. If you can beat me in a fight, then he'll certainly open up sooner than later. Also, if you wanna use spells, go ahead... I don't mind."
Narumi was known as a sloth and many looked down upon him for it, but if only they knew he was conserving every bit of energy for himself. Even for fun, Narumi almost never held back. He just didn't know-how, and it felt disrespectful if he did. Each day, week, and month he'd be sleeping almost all day. Conserving and using every bit of energy he had for training, practice, and real matches. A determinating feat that makes the term "Sloth" a lot more devious than harmless. "Ready, Haisu?" Narumi grunted, already determining what the giant name for Hiro would be.

ㅤ──────────────────────| ── | The location was quite nice. Hiro liked it. There were herbs, plants and nature, things that he was into. But then again, he was into everything. The place was also secluded and it wasn't surprising that most people would have missed the area. It was almost like those muggle barriers that made their perception deviate from the magical realms. Chikao's opinion on the robe colors was interesting and Hiro nodded. He hadn't thought of it like that but it was true, the grades they got on paper determined the color robes they received as a result of this. But at the same time, there were also things that could be of use to them later on. Such as extracurricular activities. Navy blue and gold robes were a little different. They needed to be active and participate in clubs all the time, as well as their usual studies and duties. It was something only a few people could successfully maintain for long periods of time. But you could get something out of doing these activities that could prove useful in real life later on. Unlike the stuff you wrote down on paper, which might have no bearing when it came to putting it to use out in the world. But then again, some things were, such as brewing potions, casting spells etc... if you didn't learn them, you wouldn't know how to do them on your own later. Ahhh, Hiro's mind was going around in circles. He shook his head, trying to stop thinking about these things. It wouldn't go anywhere just thinking about it. "Mm. I can see how that would be annoying, knowledge in class settings doesn't always apply to real life situations. They should teach that to students too." Hiro agreed. "I mean, learning how to cast spells and figuring out how to brew potions you learn in classes are the same. But everything else is massively different in real life, depending upon the situation you find yourself in, right?" Hiro asked with a faint smile on his lips. He followed after Chikao as he was led him up a hill where a small structure was seen. Hiro raised a brow at Chikao's words and returned the respectful bow to him. When he raised his head he saw Chikao's grin and a smirk came to his lips. "You don't phase me, Kao. Do your worst! That is, if you can touch me." Hiro said cheekily and winked at him. The pink haired boy regarded Chikao for a few seconds. How to go about beating him? When Chikao spoke of how he could use spells too, Hiro nodded. He didn't really want to resort to using spells, not if Chikao didn't too. It was part of his code. Hiro didn't like having any kind of advantage. Or rather what he considered to be unfair advantages. As Chikao asked if he was ready and called him by a giant name, Hiro nodded. "Let's see what you have, Kao." It would be interesting to see how Chikao would fight him and Hiro was curious about dueling too. He would have joined all three wizard school sports if possible. Broom racing and dueling sounded awesome. But Hiro wouldn't give up quidditch, it was the thing that made him feel the most at home and he loved being a beater and also being with SNACBASH. Still, Chikao's offer to fight in an unmodded duel was a great idea! It could let him get a feeling as to what dueling was like, and also help let Chikao release some steam, so it was a win-win situation for both of them. Chikao lashed out with a kick at him, almost at the same time that Hiro decided to do the exact same. ────────────────────── ㅤ ㅤ──────────────────────

It was agreed upon by both parties that Chikao and Hiro fought for a bit but overall landed three kicks each. Utilizing their 2nd-year stats, Chikao has dealt 660 damage to Hiro, placing Hiro at 40 HP. Hiro has dealt 396 damage, placing Chikao at 604 HP
Chikao specifically wanted to practice his kicks and leg strength during this fight. He conducted multiple handstands, a few flips, and surprise kicks at varying angles. He used his arms and hands to block a few incoming attacks from Hiro, but he overall used his feet in combat, "I heard in Brazil," Chikao said out loud with a few heavy breaths in between, "That they combine dancing with fighting. It sounded really fun, and I gotta say I am certainly enjoying it." It may have been a bit hard to tell, but one could eventually notice that Chikao's movements were rather irrational and off-putting. They had a beat going along with them, and he used more flexibility in his movements rather than stern concentrated attacks. With a bit more focus, it would be noticed that Chikao's movement resembled more of a western-style dance than just modern attacks. He took a couple more hits from Hiro, and Hiro took a couple more hits from Chikao.
Chikao couldn't tell if perhaps Hiro was holding back, or if the difference in their strength and stamina was just that large. With each heavy breath and landed attack, Chikao could tell that Hiro was most likely going to go down first. Chikao was about to say they should just stop and take a break, but that terrible feeling deep in his gut rose and spat at the thought. Chikao was having fun, a lot of it too. They called him an Oni due to how scary he would be in never holding back and always finishing the job. Even if it was obvious who was gonna win, that didn't mean the fight should just end. Chikao could feel it in him, and he wasn't going to stop just yet. He considered Hiro a friend, but only the closest of friends could prevent Chikao from sending students to the hospital section of Mahoutokoro. Chikao dashed swiftly at Hiro, "I heard of this one move called the Whirlwind. Prepare yourself, Hiro!"
No matter how exhausted his opponent was, Chikao just never understood how to hold back or when to stop. He hated that about himself, but he couldn't leave the life he was used to. They called him and Oni, and so he was gonna give them an Oni. The purple robes that grew darker on Hiro only blinded Chiako more into what felt a bit like blinding rage. Each step echoed through the secluded spot filled with bamboo. Perhaps the thought of Akira came to mind, and only help blind Chikao in more fury.

The Oni's Return

It was one of those temperate days, where the stormy clouds of the Iwo Jima region were held at bay. The humidity was still slightly present, but the temperature was moderate before the advent of summer. Akira inhaled deeply and sighed as he exited the school building, carrying his study materials. It was the perfect day to study in a quiet, secluded area outside.
As usual, his dark navy uniform contrasted against his pale skin, which unkissed by the rays of the sun due to his many hours of indoor study. He was a figure moving steadily and silently through the stone paths of the grounds, shrouded by bamboo growing on either side. A few scraggly boys in purple and blue robes ran by, panting as if they had just escaped a wildebeest, sporting bruises, blood and scratches, but Akira didn't pay them much mind. He merely tutted. Even purple-robed students were delinquents these days, weren't they? Oh how far the quality of Mahoutokoro students had fallen.
No matter. The more his immediate peers got distracted, the faster he shall rise.
The small structure with the tiled, sloping roof held up by a few wooden columns appeared in the distance, sitting atop a small hill were stone steps led up to it. Looking at it now, he felt a twinge of unwanted nostalgia. It was the refuge where he and Chikao had spent countless hours studying together, teaching each other the most convoluted concepts, chatting about their hopes and dreams, and sharing inside jokes. However, that was a thing of the past; they had grown apart ever since Narumi slipped in ranking, and their relationship was now better described by enmity ever since their duel at Hogwarts in the fall.
As he approached, however, he saw a commotion under the terracotta tiled roof. Upon closer inspection, he saw that two boys were fighting. Immediately, his frustration flared. Who were they to think they could take over his private studying space with these antics? With eyes narrowed in irritation, he approached, ready to fiercely admonish these troublemakers.
But, he paused as he suddenly realized who the two boys were. His mild frustration exploded into an immediate burst of anger. "NARUMI! You DEMON!" he called out in a fit of rage, just as his former friend's fist connected with Hiro's jaw. How dare this uncontrollable monster lay hands on Hiro, who had probably never wronged anyone in his life? What was this barbarian of a lavender-robe doing? Reflexively, Akira drew his wand from its holster, consciously allowing himself to break school rules just this once, to protect his friend. "Flipendo!" A jet of sparks from the Knockback Jinx hit Narumi square in the chest.
The spell bought him time. Hastily, he dropped his bag and rushed to Hiro's side, catching the wounded boy in his arms just in time. He knelt over his friend, right arm under Hiro's shoulders, supported by his right knee, gazing at him with dark eyes wide with concern and worry, taking in the bruises and cuts on his skin. "How badly are you hurt? Tell me, Bakugo, what do you need?" he asked fervently, inwardly cursing that first-years (or even second-years) did not learn any healing spells.
He then turned his face to Narumi, shooting him a fiery glare. "Just what do you think you're doing." It took all his restraint not to sear that boy with vengeful flames, just to hear his screams. "Is it not enough that you hurt me? You have to come for my friends, now, do you?" he accused the boy, wand gripped in his left hand so he could fend off the attacker if he refused to back down. Narumi was taking this way too far.

ㅤ──────────────────────| ── | Hiro grinned at his friend. As the 'duel' continued, the two of them explored various fighting techniques. Hiro didn't resort to spells. Not only did he consider it to be unfair, as Chikao didn't intend on using any, but he also wanted to get more physical experience. Like Chikao. The two traded kicks, punches and other creative approaches until Chikao spoke about a dancing fighting style people in Brazil tended to use. Hiro raised a brow. "Is that a fact? I'll have to check it out later." He was fairly good when it came to stamina and strength but compared to Chikao he was nothing special. Chikao's strength seemed off the charts! But Hiro was sure that he would eventually catch up later. Maybe. But still, just because someone had more strength didn't mean the one with higher strength would win. There were other ways to win too. Such as agility, evasion and using your mind to anticipate attacks. Hiro had gotten some blows in, which meant he had a chance to win too! Yes, it was a much lower chance but miracles and turnarounds happened all the time. Even in official matches. Hiro didn't want to stop and take a break, he wanted to keep going for as long as Chikao needed. After all, he was gaining experience and Chikao was releasing steam here! Both were benefitting from this! As Chikao spoke of a new technique called the Whirlwind, Hiro tensed, taking on a defensive stance. There were two options. Try and block the incoming attack or try and evade it. He wasn't sure which one he was going to do. Maybe he'd base it off how powerful the attack looked like it was going to be. Focused on the duel, Hiro didn't realize someone had come upon the scene. Not until Chikao's fist connected with his jaw, which made him scowl a little. Damn, he'd thought he'd been able to evade! Perhaps he needed to work more on his evasion. Of course it hurt but Hiro was used to getting hurt all the time. From all kinds of people. After all, Hiro was a nuisance. The cockroach that couldn't be gotten rid of, no matter what you did to him. He'd experienced physical pain, mental pain and emotional pain. Although the latter two were more from his parents. Physical pain was usually from the people he bothered all the time when they couldn't make him go away. Ah, and also stomach and throat pain, Hiro remembered a few times when someone he'd been bothering had given him a drink. He'd thought they were opening up to him and being nice, so he'd drank it. But it turned out to be a fiery concoction that had burned his throat a bit! Another time it had been that silencing potion. Which had resulted in him not being able to speak for awhile. That one had hurt emotionally for him a little. After all, Hiro was known to be a chatterbox! How could he not speak?! Thankfully, Chikao fist had connected with his jaw and not his chin, which was a stroke of good luck. If it had made contact with his chin, Hiro might have gotten knocked out for a time. As it was, it just really hurt. As he fell backward, he was caught in someone's arms and he glanced up to see a familiar face. "Akira!" He exclaimed, a look of happiness coming to his face. The voice from before had sounded so familiar but since he hadn't been able to look until now he hadn't seen him. How lovely! Hiro grinned up at Akira as the boy expressed his concern and worry over him. It was rather heartwarming and he couldn't help but wonder what he'd done to deserve such an emotion from someone. Still, he couldn't resist responding to Akira's next words with a bit of a teasing remark. "Well, a kiss would be nice!" Hiro told him with a smile, looking up at Akira. It was nice being held in Akira's arms like this. When would he ever have this chance again? Of course, soon after Akira directed his attention at Chikao again, while still holding him gently in his arms. Hiro couldn't help but want Chikao to leave. So he could have some alone time with Akira. But then again, he wasn't sure how Akira would react to his words. If he left... well, Hiro would want to stay with Chikao for a bit longer and chat a bit longer. However, if he didn't leave... then again, the atmosphere between the two was a bit strained. And that was saying it lightly. ────────────────────── ㅤ ㅤ──────────────────────

The Oni's Return
Chikao could feel himself enjoying the fight more and more with each attack that he took and that he let loose. Eventually, it could be seen that he was gonna be ending up going for the kill and trying to send Hiro to the infirmary. Chikao didn't hate Hiro, if anything he loved him like a close friend and didn't want to hurt him too badly. However, Chikao was like a warrior to the core. The living soul and embodiment of battle, and he just never could find a good enough reason to hold back. Why should one ever hold back? It seemed disrespectful and lacked any fun in his opinion. Sure it would lessen the pain, but the pain is what Chikao saw as a plus side to driving people forward. He was about to go for another strike after striking Hiro's jaw, till he felt a smashing truck hit his side. Or at least, it felt like a truck when in reality it was Akira's perfected flipendo knocking him away a couple of feet. Chikao slammed strongly into the surrounding bamboo, a couple snapping incapable of stopping him, but able to slow him down. The location they were at was rather slightly elevated, and as such Chikao found himself fallin down the hill incapable of stopping himself. It was if Akira had spartan kicked Chikao down a massive cliff full of nothing but bamboo at the bottom.
Eventually, Chikao's rolling would stop. He groaned from the pain and shook his head trying to realize what happened. He recalled Hiro, he recalled fighting, and perhaps he heard Akira scream out the demon. It took the boy a lot of time to think it through, but he sighed and decided to just lie down and sleep out in the open in the middle of the school grounds. It wasn't unusual for the boy to take random sleep after heavy physical actions. Luckily too, it provided the perfect spot and privacy for both Hiro and Akira to continue their talk without the annoying descendant of sun wukong bothering the two of them.
