Emmett listened to her go on how important it was. He pretended to gag when she mentioned that it was important in her opinion. Okay, maybe some things were somewhat important, but most of it was just tiny facts that he needed to memorize only for him to forget them again!

"I don't think the problem was in the students where I went. Even if I didn't really get along with many of them. The whole system was screwed up." he chimed in with his opinion. It was difficult to get along with someone like Emmett for a reason. He went out of his way to swim against the current and annoy others by being stubborn. Put being unpredictable and prone to accidents there, it was easy to get frustrated with Emmett, even if there were good traits too.

"Stop, you're depressing me with the 'school is school'." he closed his eyes in pain, whining but not sounding very serious with what he said. He detested the idea of tests after tests, quizzes after quizzes and breakdowns after another.
"I predict that I'll be in Slytherin. Seems to suit me, like it or not. I'm an ambitious person." he crossed his arms and leaned back in his chair. He wasn't ashamed to admit that he held his pride high. It was one of his most defining characteristics.

"Mom was in Ravenclaw, dad went through his school in Mahoutokoro so obviously he's not in any houses. I don't like the idea of being the same as them, so Slytherin sounds fine." he went off to dreaming again what it would be like to be sorted.

"Stop, you're depressing me with the 'school is school'." Asteria hear Emmett say. "Oops, sorry to ruin your happy thoughts." Asteria replied as her eyebrows raised slightly. She wasn't trying to ruin the conversation maybe she should have phrased it differently."I predict that I'll be in Slytherin. Seems to suit me, like it or not. Curiosity set in as Emmett explained her background. "I have family on my dad's side that went to Mahoutokoro." She explained. "My grandfather was born in Japan, but after finishing school, he moved to England to work in the Ministry of Magic." She whenever grandmother use to talk about her grandfather, it was like she was a whole other person.

Whenever he was spoken about, Asteria would wonder what Mahoutokoro was like. What were the houses like? How long were the classes? What sport did they play? "My father and his mum come from a long line of Slytherin's, but my mum's family is mostly Gryffindor." She said. "So I think I'll end up in either Slytherin or Gryffindor." she finished. "I hope I end up in Gryffindor to be honest." Asteria found that the talking helped her avoid laughing at the prodding of Madam Malkin's wand. Thankfully she was almost finish though, "My parents will be coming soon to get me. How about yours?" She asked. Asteria wondered where they stopped at, before guessing her mum stopped  in the Apothecary to take a look at some potion making materials. Leave it to her mum to get lost in shopping, Asteria hoped she wouldn't end up like being like that in the future.One thing was clear, this was turning into a very interesting meeting.
