" Herbolgoy interesting but I like to read almost everything since I'm just weird like that," Henry laughed a bit as he heard her talked about her life and why she was alone and apparently he knew how she felt as he spoke when she was done, " relax you caught me on a off day to, so it's probably a good thing that we bumped into each other. And I'm alone to since my father is out of town till next week and my brother is with my twin at gringotts talking to some people about his auror schooling," Henry then realized that he made the same mistake as her when he told her his life story and quicky added " sorry, I didn't mean to do that."
Henry heard her speak and again, which made the boy suddenly feel guilty when she finished because he hardly told anyone that he was poor because he preferred not to be pitted by others or have them feel like they had to give him free handouts so Henry quickly added " sounds good and I'll make sure to repay you at Hogwarts somehow." Those words seem to settle Henry a but as he heard her speak again and spoke up once she was done " yes I'm a slytherin and it's fine, most if my friends are either in ravenclaw or hufflepuff so. The hat put me there because I think that my father and brother were there but I remember the hat saying something about seeing something in me and so," Henry did a fancy and joking wave with his hand before continuing "I seen your twin around but I never spoke to her since most Slytherin's tend to ignore me and call me slytherin traitor. What about you? Why are you in hufflepuff and do you like it?"
Henry then remembered her saying that she was a twin since quickly added " so your a twin to? Then you know how I feel about it and how it's not all good times and happiness like people think?" Before anything else however another person join them and seem to talk very fast and happily to Alina before saying something to Henry in which he just replied with a smiled and wave to acknowledge them since he already told Alina that he to was having an off day and didn't really feel like talking at the moment.

"Definitely not all the happiness. So many people think you're lucky and that you'll have a friend for life but... it can get very complicated," and she sensed he somehow knew that. "Oh and if you like to read everything, that must make you smart. You should be my tutor or something at Hogwarts. ...Maybe," she said and paused, not sure if that was the best of ideas. She could tell that it was pretty apparent that she hesitated so she thought she would explain herself. "I've kind of shouted at three of my former tutors and er - threw a book at another."
School wasn't her thing. Somehow things just didn't always come to her easily. It wasn't that she was stupid - or at least she hoped that she wasn't. Eventually she could get decent grades but she really had to work her tail off for them, unlike some that got good grades with little effort.
She then heard a familiar voice and looked to Alexa. It made her think of her trip to visit and how Clifton had talked to her just the next day and her heart sank. "Alexa, hey," she did give her a smile because it was always good to see a friend. "I'm umm... I've uh, I've been better," she whispered, not wanting to try and expend the energy to pretend that she was okay. And it was true, she wasn't her normal perky self.
"This is my new friend Henry," she introduced him. "Henry, this is one of my best friends, Alexa. Henry here is super nice. He helps pick up books when you run into them and doesn't make you feel foolish. He's also going to tutor me in hopes that I don't rip his head off," and by now she did manage a bigger smile and it was genuine. "And Alexa is brilliant with animals and fun to be around and is a fellow adventurist."
Being amongst friends made things better.

Talking with @Alina Rosier and @Henry Knight.
Alexa immediately noticed that after her greeting a sad expression flitted across Alina’s face. It didn’t stay, but it wasn’t replaced by her normal happy expressions. Alexa felt a pang of nervousness. Something was wrong, and she wondered what.
When she said that she had been better, Alexa’s brows furrowed. She wanted to ask what was wrong, but didn’t want to seem pushy especially in front of this stranger. She glanced his way briefly before focusing on her friend again.
Alina introduced Henry, and Alexa turned back to him slightly and smiled a small smile. “Nice to meet you,” she said. She beamed when Alina called her one of her best friends; she felt the same way about the other girl. She laughed at the self-deprecating joke about knocking down books, and nonviolent tutoring.
“Thanks Alina,” she smiled at her friend. “You’ve probably already figured this out, Henry, but Alina is pretty darned awesome.” Then she blushed. It was good to be back among Hogwarts students, especially in the presence of her friend. Still though, she knew something was off, and waited for the opportunity to ask about it.

Henry listened as Alina spoke about having twin and agreed with her completely as he quickly added when she was finished " definitely, almost everyone I told that I have a twin to seems to think that were always close or have a special connection or something. Which your right isn't always true especially when you go to different school," or when the both of you are complete opposites or when your twin prefers to avoid you as he continued to listen to Alina as he laughed a little and added when she was done " I help my best friend with classes, I guess I could tutor you to and I do it for free, actually I tutor for ice cream," Henry laughed a bit at his joke before seeing the new girl walked up and watching the two converse to each other for a few minutes.
Henry smiled when Alina introduced him as her friend, something that he rarely heard from others, Henry then smiled and gave a friendly introduction to Alexa just without speaking. When Alina finished speak and after Alexa finished Henry spoke " it's nice to meet you Alexa and uh yeah Alina seems pretty bloody cool," Henry gave a polite but friendly smile to Alina before speaking again " and Alexa I actually love animals to and I'm quite good at handling them to. Maybe we can chat about that later if you want?"

Alina was glad that the two with her had a shared interest. She too enjoyed working with animals back home but it was only in the capacity to help them and learn a little bit about healing. Yes, she liked animals, but it wasn't her interest to work with them after her time at Hogwarts like it was for some others. Her interest was in healing and of the human sort.
"I'll be right back," she said and held up her finger indicating that the two should wait for her. She was trying to not be a bossy little thing like she could sometimes be but this was the first time she saw her friend Alexa since growing heartbroken and this was her first encounter with a new friend and she didn't want either of them going anywhere at all.
If they did so, she might break down as she felt any little thing could revert her to a crying mess of tears and NO one needed to see that disaster. Maybe it was good that her father was missing in action.
She made her purchase, getting three separate bags, two smaller than the other and slipped the smaller ones into the larger one and joined the two, smiling brightly because they waited for her. "Okay, move along, people," she shooed them out the door as she began to walk, ushering them out of the bookstore. "If we don't get to the ice cream shop soon the line will be three kilometers long!" They headed into Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour where there was still lots of available seating both inside and out. There was a young boy there with an older lady - perhaps his grandmother and the girl from before with her father. Alina looked up to the menu to see the flavors: Banana, Butterbeer, Chocolate, Granny Smith, Mint, Orange Marmalade, Pistachio, Strawberries and Cream, Toffee, Toffee Apple, Vanilla, Apple Crumble, Chocolate, Chocolate and Raspberry, Chocolate Chilli, Clotted Cream, Earl Grey and Lavender, Salted Caramel Blonde, Sticky Toffee Pudding, and Strawberry and Peanut Butter. "Man, no Lemon just like last year," she said aloud and gave a sigh. "You really need to get your act together, man," and she looked up to the man working behind the counter and shook her head at him. She hadn't said it loud enough for him to actually hear though and looked over to Alexa a bit with a slight smile because Alexa knew how much she loved lemon. Lemon solved almost everything and right now she could use some solving.
She let her friends decide what they wanted as she went to the front counter where that man greeted them. "Good morning," she said to him with a polite smile, "we will do three ice creams, please. I'll have the...." she paused because this was more difficult than she would have imagined! "Umm..." Toffee Apple sounded rather nice and autumn-like, but strawberries and cream sounded sweet. "You have a lot of delicious flavors, Sir, but you MUST include a Lemon for next Summer," and she said it as her eyes were skimming over the choices and paused, feeling that was terribly rude of her. She didn't mean to say it out loud and she gasped. The man just smiled though, not finding it rude at all and a mere recommendation from a customer. "Might I make a suggestion?" he said to her. "Orange Marmalade with crushed lemon on top." She stared at him in awe because that sounded absolutely perfect! "Oh you are a god! Yes, I'll do that. Exactly that," she nodded and stepped aside so her friends could make their choices.

Getting ice cream with @Alina Rosier and @Henry Knight.
Alexa smiled back at Henry. “That’s great! I’d love to chat with you about that sometime!” Maybe she could make a new friend.
Alina said she would be right back, and as she turned away, Alexa called again that strange fleeting look across her face which the other girl quickly hid. Again it made Alexa’s stomach seemed to flip-flop. She needed to get her friend alone at some point so that she could ask her what was wrong.
When Alina returned with her purchases (and Alexa belatedly realized she had not made any of hers; she’d have to come back later), Alina ushered them out into the street toward the ice cream parlour. Alexa had not actually been here last year, but could see that it was a popular place, despite the seats available. She went to the counter with her friend and looked at the extensive menu of delicious flavors. She chuckled at Alina’s comment about the lack of lemon flavors: her friend’s affinity for lemon was well known.
Though so many of them sounded good, Alexa knew what she would be ordering. When it came her turn, she simply said, “Chocolate, please.” Chocoholic! She went ahead and pulled out the money necessary to make all three purchases. She smiled at Alina. “Beat you to it! Besides, I still owe you for the fudge.” She didn’t say where she had gotten the fudge, not in front of Henry, since they hadn’t exactly followed school rules to get it!

Alexa spoke about chatting about animals and creatures sometime together and Henry spoke to her " I would love that, yeah probably back at Hogwarts we can get together to chat about them," Alina then excused herself and appeared to go pay for her books before coming back and ushering them out to head to the ice cream parlor. Before they left the bookstore, Henry wanting to help Alina quicky took her bag as he spoke " here let me hold this for you, it's the least I could do for paying for ice cream for us."
However when they arrived at the shop, Alina ordered first and seemed to not know what to get except that she wanted a lemon with it and after a suggestion from the man behind the counter after Alexa soon got her ice cream which is chocolate before paying for something and saying that she still know her for some fudge which got Henry curious. The man the turned to Henry as he spoke " what about you, what will you have?" To be honest Henry wasn't going to order anything but not to be shown as rude, he quickly glanced over the choices and coming from a poor family he didn't pick anything to flashy or anything instead Henry just mainly said " just vanilla please," Henry took his cone as he didn't want to seem like a bother to the other two before saying " thanks Alexa, remind me to pay you back at Hogwarts for it," even through he probably couldn't before adding to Alina " I'll still hold on to your bag for you Alina, just to say thanks I guess."

“You’re a gentleman, Henry Knight,” she said with a sigh. It wasn’t an insult; it was very much a compliment but gentleman didn’t always stay gentleman. Sometimes they only built up your trust until you gave them such a deep part of you - only to tear it away in one afternoon at a park outside the train station.
She looked down to her ice cream and stabbed the soft serve with her spoon, wanting to inflict pain but ice cream wouldn’t feel pain. She felt the pain.
Alina looked back up to Alexa and Henry. She didn’t need to be all pathetic because no one wanted to be around that. “Can you still be my tutor back at school if you don’t owe me for the ice cream?” She asked Henry. “And what are your best subjects.” She didn’t excel really in any of them, but there were some that were more difficult than others. Transfigurations was the absolute worst in her mind - subject and professor.
She tasted her ice cream, feeling a little better. It was her motto that lemon made almost anything better and it did seem to calm her for the moment. Nice suggestion...orange marmalade with crushed lemon. She would certainly have to get it again sometime.

“Don’t worry about it, Henry!” Alexa said, pleased to be able to do something for her friends, new and old. Once she had made the purchase, and the ice cream had been handed out, Alexa led the way to a vacant table and sat down, leaning back and smiling in the sunshine. It was a pleasant day to be here, in Diagon Alley.
Alina and Henry began to speak about tutoring. Alexa was surprised her friend thought she needed it; she had always seemed to make passing marks in class, but maybe she wanted better ones. As someone who desperately wanted good grades, Alexa could understand this. She wondered how much tougher their second year assignments would be, compared to the first year.
Enjoying her ice cream, Alexa let her mind wander. She needed to go get her books, and new robes, and she had grown out of the old ones over the summer. Thinking of the summer made her think of her time spent with Clifton and Alina. The two were nearly inseparable, which made her suddenly wonder where Clifton was now. Surely they would’ve decided to do their shopping together.
She felt that same lump in her stomach … Where was Clifton? She felt she had to ask, because she was worried now, but she didn’t know how to bring it up. After a lull in the conversation between the other two, Alexa said hesitantly, “Alina, I’m surprised to see you here without Clifton! Have you heard from him lately?” There, that seemed innocuous enough as to not be harmful. She hoped.

She was in mid spoonful of ice cream and the words hit her. She paused, literally stopping for the moment before slowly removing the spoon and placing it back in the cup. "Umm," she paused. How did she begin to even say this? "Well..." another pause, but this time to slow her quickly beating heart and to steady her voice. "I haven't heard from him since the day after I returned from your place. He came to Surrey and we met at the train station."
She didn't say anything else for a moment and just took another small bite of the ice cream. It was difficult to talk about. Maybe it was better that back at home her sister had gone, Juliette had gone, her father had gone. Maybe it was good there wasn't too many to share it with. Still, Alexa was one of Clifton's good friends too and she deserved to know so Alina needed to talk about it right now.
"He met me there to say goodbye," she whispered, not even sure if it was loud enough for the others to hear because if she said it any louder her voice would crack and show the ultimate sadness that it gave her. "He umm...has had some family troubles and umm, well, he isn't coming back to Hogwarts with us and uh, he isn't going to be part of the wizarding world and broke off all contact from everyone. Everyone." - His friend, Alexa, as well as Alina.
"So yeah...it's just me. And you," she brightened up a little at that statement, "and Henry. Which is a lot better than just me." She was grateful for her friends and for making new ones.
