Ramadan is about community. But it is also about reflection and growth.
This is part of a series of Ramadan-inspired errands over the next month to try and share that experience. Errands further in this series will require completion of this errand.
The first ten nights of Ramadan are widely thought to be the Days of Rahmah (Mercy); and one of the core values of Ramadan is mercy expressed through small kindnesses.
For this errand, participating characters keep a brief journal (or series of vignettes) describing at least 5 separate moments where they choose to be kind without being asked. These should be acts that could be done by anyone (i.e. without the use of wandwork and potions) such as sharing time, food, attention, or help. At least one act should cost your character something (time, comfort, pride, convenience), to show that mercy sometimes asks for sacrifice. The focus is not on perfection but on noticing how these choices shape your character and who they are during the month.

This is an individual errand. Feel free to create your own thread here or here or anywhere else that feels appropriate for your character. Remember that you are still on-site and all regular site-wide rules apply.
The errand is considered completed upon the meeting following conditions:Eligibility Criteria: This errand is open to PCs, iNPCs and adult characters.
- Covering at least 5 separate events, where at least one had a cost to the participant
- 600 words overall for the errand.
