Change the Word

This game is easy to understand.

One person says a word, then the next says the same word only with a letter changed. It still has to make sense. Then the next does the same.
Note: ONLY make a new word if you cannot think of anything else.

For Example:
p1 - Coat
p2 - Boat
p3 - Boot
p4 - shoot this is a mistake: It's supposed to be Soot. Shoot would not be allowed as it would be adding a letter.
p5 - shot
p2 - shop
p5 - ship
p3 - new word: took
p1 - book
and so on.

Note: You are not allowed to change back from what just was, for example:

P1 - coat
p2 - boat
p3 - moat
p4 - boat (this is wrong). It would also be wrong if p4 posted coat, because it has already been.
You cannot add or remove letters.
