Stardust PV Pettely Knots Finished

XXXThe classroom was quiet, and Eonaria was already beginning to doze off. She shook her head slightly, but she couldn't muster up much effort. It was getting harder to keep her eyes open... well, it was, until a yell filled with much profanity rang out distantly.

XXXHer heart immediately overreacted, leaping in her chest and jarring her awake. Eonaria immediately turned around, looking towards the staircase in alarm. What in Merlin's name is going on? Footsteps were now audible, pounding up the stairs along with more yelling. Her shoulders tensed up subconsciously, her eyebrows rising as a ginger cat appeared, padding casually to her side and laying down on the cushions.

XXXFor a moment, Eonaria almost- almost- forgot about the mysterious person hollering for whatever reason. "Oh. Hello, there. Where did you come from?" Eonaria laid her head back down, patting the adorable cat's head, until she became aware of the footsteps finally bursting into the room not a second later.

XXXShe screamed at an unearthly high pitch, nearly falling over as she leaped to her feet. Honestly, she should have expected the person to come in, since they seemed to be chasing the cat, but it was still a very sudden shock.

XXXThe rowdy person turned out to be a sandy-haired Hufflepuff, breathing heavily from running up the entirety of the Astronomy tower's stairs. "What are you doing?!" Eonaria squeaked, stumbling slightly over her words. The unexpected turn of events had sent a sudden spike of adrenaline, thoroughly waking her up. "It's the middle of the night! You have no business thumping around and yelling profanities at the top of your lungs at this hour!"

XXXThe strange Hufflepuff boy seemed to take great offense at her scolding, retaliating with a petty 'you first' response. Eonaria sighed, sitting back down to pet the kitty. "I just wanted to take a look at the stars. The Astronomy classroom is definitely the best place for it. Maybe I could even borrow a telescope?" She looked around the atrium-like room, contemplating the idea. Nah, if I break it, that would be disastrous. "I've always wanted a closer look at the planets."

XXXEonaria was about to go into the details of how bright Venus could get when the boy apparently decided she was finished. She frowned, but kept quiet while she listened. "Okay, but why are you yelling at your cat? It puts her in a stressful situation, that's probably why she ran all the way up this tower." Eonaria crossed her arms. However, what the boy said next made her furrow her brows slightly.

XXX"Dude. Seriously?" She couldn't remember the last time she said 'dude.' Maybe this was the first time. The slang from the variety of people at Hogwarts must be rubbing off on her.

XXX"I don't know who you are, and you don't know who I am. What am I gonna say, 'oh yeah, last night I saw a rude, brown-haired Hufflepuff in the Astronomy Tower'? That would also get me in trouble, you know. And vice versa for you. Why do we even need a deal for this? Just use your head and keep quiet to keep yourself in the safe zone." Eonaria scoffed.

XXXEonaria scowled, gently scooping up the cat into her arms. What had he called her? Luna? Awwe! So cute! She would much rather pay attention to this fluffy beauty instead of this brash Hufflepuff. Don't tell him how to raise his feline? Maybe you should learn how to do it better first!

XXXThe boy seemed a teeny bit frustrated, but opted to sigh and shake his head like he was disappointed in her life's decisions or something. Then he proceeded to lecture her, albeit in a strange way- accompanied with an equally strange 'ha ha' that made Eonaria look weirdly at him.

XXXShe stared at him, then at his hair, then back at him. He seemed to be standing a little too tall, which was ironic, considering he looked a little shorter than her.

XXX"Your hair definitely doesn't look blond. A very dark blond, you see. So dark it might almost be brown- oh, my! Maybe it is brown!" Eonaria gasped dramatically before nodding casually. "Yeah, okay, but even if one of us gets caught, we still don't know each others' names." She shrugged.

XXX"Like, 'oh, before you give me detention, I just wanna let you know that there's also a Hufflepuff in denial about his hair sneaking around here somewhere.' Right, they'll definitely catch you that way." Eonaria was enjoying this argument a little too much. Justice for the kitty!

As Pettely saw the girl scooping up his own cat, that he bought with his own currency, the frustration and anger rushed up to the top of his head. He could feel his ears burning. She had no right to touch Luna. Let alone lift her up! The worst part of it all, was the fact that Luna didn't seem to care, she was awaken, fully conscious now. The cat might even be liking the attention provided by the gryffindor with its constant soft purring.
'You do not touch another man's cat.'

It started to get much worse, and almost unbearable when she began roasting him about his hair color, and how he was in denial about it, when she ended stating that they didn't even know each other's names, he replied with "The room is dark! That's why my hair looks brown right now! Also, Luna is mine!"

The girl ignored him. She started another witty comeback countering his part about the hair color denial using very clever metaphors. She looked amused at his frustration and anger, perhaps not, maybe it was his pure hatred for the girl that caused his brain to manipulate his sight and cause her to look worse then she really was.

He didn't care what it was, Pettely wanted to exit this room and get away from the irritating Gryffindor, though, the other part of him, his side emanating toxism and spite, glanced at Luna, still purring in the girls arms, that was the last straw to him. Pettely had to settle this once and for all. Not with words, but with magic. He pulled out the cherry wood wand from his robe, then pointed it directly towards the girl, the arm half-bent. His eyes twinkled in a dangerous manner.

"I've always wanted to fight using magic, let's fucking do this Gryffindor."

Luna jumped away from the girl's arms, terrified of what will come next. However, as soon as the cat landed on the floor, Pettely realized what he had just said and regretted it deeply. Of course he knew there would be consequences to haunt him. The hand holding the wand quivered, but it would be too embarrassing to back down now.

XXXSo soft! Eonaria stroked Luna's fur, thinking back to her own cat. I... I haven't seen her in two months! Aaa, shush. On the other side of the room, the Hufflepuff was beginning to radiate death-aura or whatever that was. Eonaria blinked, taking a step back and bumping into the windows behind her. Uhh, hostile much? He seemed to be more offended about her touching his cat rather than the insults directed at his hair.

XXXThe moment Eonaria stopped talking, the boy yanked out his wand, pointing it at her. She paled slightly. "Well, that's new," she commented, trying to remain calm. "Threatening people with magic? You barely know any!" Neither did she, but that was besides the point. To her dismay, Luna leaped out of her arms, most likely spooked by the prospect of magic. The cat slunk away, weaving around the legs of the stools and tables of the classroom.

XXX"Dude, do you just constantly terrify your cat?" Eonaria scowled, tugging her own wand out of her pocket. Um, WHAT am I doing!? Put that away! The Hufflepuff's arm shook just imperceptibly, but it made her feel slightly less alarmed.

XXX"Fine!" She began, before pausing. "Er, are we bowing or something? Is this official?" Agh, stupid technicalities. If it was official, then it would get a lot more serious. The only offensive spells she knew were the Spark Charms, which probably wouldn't do much, and... the Dancing Feet Spell. Ooh. Could I get away with that? Eonaria's gaze flickered toward the exit.

XXXShe took a deep breath, hoping desperately that she memorized the wand movement correctly, and waved her wand in a vaguely W-shaped... shape. Thing. Yep. "Tarantallegra!" She cried before bolting for the door as there came a purple flash of light and the boy's legs began to spasm.

As the girl shouted the incantations, Pettely's mind was preoccupied with these negative thoughts and self-doubt, his eyes directing at his cat. The Gryffindor's comments were harsh, but admittedly true. He had a knack for frightening his feline, if someone looked at Luna now, they would surely question her well-being. The furr on her was bushy, which was a terrible sign of stress and fear. The anxiety on her eyes were clearly perceptible. Pettely started to wonder if he was providing his pet with a happy life which she undoubtedly deserved, or did the anxiety and stress outweigh the pleasant things he had to offer.

Those thoughts and questions abruptly came to an end, as he felt his legs moving against his will. It didn't feel like anything he had experienced before, Pettely try to resist, but gave up right away as he noticed the girl, who was trying to make a break for it, heading straight towards the exit. Perhaps, It might've been better, to stay still and let her go, after all, Pettely didn't have enough nerves to attack her a few seconds ago, and would've given anything to stop his past self from raising the wand in the first place. Nevertheless, that was before she decided to strike first, and cause his legs to spasm weirdly. The blame was entirely on her, or at least, He was sure that he had the prequisite skills to convince the others. And there's a moral Pettely follows in a situation like this.
