Friends over books
So, Eugenia spent her afternoon in the library. First, she finished her Charms essay after just an hour of work. She returned to her common room for a bit and then went back to the library. Since she had already read all of her school books twice or thrice, she decided to read one from the vast library shelves. It didn’t take long before she found one she liked. It was titled Quidditch through the Ages. Eugenia was not a Quidditch player and didn’t necessarily aspire to become one, but she thought that the book would be loads of fun to read.
Determined to have a nice evening filled with book reading, she found a small table near the edge of the library and sat down. The book she chose was super interesting. Eugenia hadn’t really heard of all those facts so naturally, she was fascinated. This seems so nice! Maybe I should read this one! It might not have seemed like a productive afternoon to most people but to Eugenia; oh it certainly was! Halfway through the book, she put it down to see some Hogwarts Quidditch records before grabbing it once again. Nothing could disturb her. Or so she thought.
Many people had passed by her, talking, reading, reciting definitions of spells and probably doing other things too. When Eugenia was in a “reading mindset” though, none of these things really mattered. Just then, she felt a hand on her shoulder. A bit flabbergasted, she turned around and faced the person who tapped her. Oh hi there! Didn’t notice you coming! I’m sorry if you are offended…

Friends over books
The library was bustling as always. With whispers all across the place, about spells, charms, potions, homeworks, blah blah. I had to visit the library to gather some materials to study for Quidditch before I could apply to be a player from the Gryffindor House! I so desperately wish to be a seeker, but before that, I wish to understand the game throughly. Before I could go for the book-shelves, I decided to reserve a seat first. Going from one table to next, there was an overwhelming number of students doing there homework. I haven't even started receiving such homework. Brushing it off, I kept searching for a seat, when I found a small table with just one student, a Hufflepuff, sitting and earnestly reading a book. As I neared her seat, I realised she was reading the exact book I was here for! I tapped on her shoulders, to which she spun around, flabbergasted , " Oh hi there! Didn’t notice you coming! I’m sorry if you are offended…"
"Offended? Please! If anything I am madly interested about the exact book you hold in your hands!"I sat down right next to her and extended my right arm, "Myself Shubhangi, a first year and an aspiring Seeker." I smiled as I waited for her reply.

Eugenia smiled. The girl deserved some help. If she wants a place in the Gryffindor Quidditch team, she might as well learn more about the sport. She decided to help Shubhangi a tad bit more with a few more useful books. Simultaneously, she thought, she could maybe find another interesting book. Welp, this plan sounds like a good idea. We both find books that we want. It’s a win-win.
Eugenia got up a turned to the black-haired girl. She cleared her throat, which was a bit deprived of water, and spoke. Since you want books about Quidditch, I could take you to the Quidditch section. I know the library quite well. There are some nice and helpful ones you should check out. She thought of the Quidditch records she saw and offered them too. After we find what we need, we can return here and read the books, if you wish. Eugenia glanced at the girl hopefully, waiting to see if she accepted the offer.

The girl awkwardly extended her hand for a handshake. "My name is Eugenia. Nice to meet you Shubhangi." She quite cutely, introduced herself, getting my name slightly off its right pronunciation. "You can take this book. It will help you a lot, I believe since you want to be a seeker. I don’t need it. I’m not interested that much in Quidditch. I just like good reads."
Well who doesn't like a good read? I thought to myself and smiled, as Eugenia pushed the books towards me. Though, in all honesty, I didn't wish to interrupt her reading time like this, so it felt a little awkward. But it seemed like she genuinely wanted to help.
Eugenia got up, turned towards me, cleared her throat and said. "Since you want books about Quidditch, I could take you to the Quidditch section. I know the library quite well. There are some nice and helpful ones you should check out. After we find what we need, we can return here and read the books, if you wish."
Her offer was tempting! I like it!
I gave a big grin and said, "I'd love to do that!"
My eyes twinkled, as we swiftly passed through the several sections of the library and finally reached the section where the Quidditch books were kept. All labelled and neatly arranged.
"Oooh! I need this!" I exclaim as I slip out the book titled " The Quidditch Handbook".
I smile at Eugenia and continue my search for some more books like "Flying with the cannons" and "The Seekers Guide to Quidditch". Granted the size of these books and the information they hold, it's going to take me nearly a week to properly learn these. I turned around and asked Eugenia, "Hey! I guess I have found enough over here. What about you?" I made sure to whisper loud enough for her to hear.
