Getting off the Train
As I went outside, I saw a skinny man holding up a lantern, and he waved for us to climb onto Carriages, I was the first to get on one, it was the leading row. I looked over, and it was being pulled by horses with wings, It was quite hard to make out a description due to how dark it was. My carriage was eventually full with 6 people total, including me. The horses slowly took off. Everyone was dead quiet. As we arrived toward an area with tons of boats, I climbed into one, as the boats took off, we landed in a boathouse, everyone hopped out, and started up the great climb into Hogwarts, I was able to see a bit of architecture on the side, it seemed ancient, beautiful, and magnificent, then at that moment, I hear a noise behind me, I look to the end of the crowd, and see that the stairs, are now a slide. It only affected a single kid, and he completely fell down all the way. We ended up waiting an hour the entire time for him to climb back up, and for the situation to be resolved. We finally continued up the stairs and arrived in a small courtyard where we entered a... Great Hall of sorts.

Eugenia’s speechIt was Eugenia’s first time coming to Hogwarts. Let’s be real, it was definitely a big deal. She was the first of her family to come here, something that made her really excited.
After a long journey with the Hogwarts Express, they finally arrived to the magnificent castle. She, along with the rest of the first years got into a boat and started rowing towards Hogwarts. The rest of the students were carried off by carriages, which were led by some odd horses. Eugenia didn’t care much about it though.
Suddenly, they stopped rowing and began walking towards the Great Hall. Eugenia had read about it in “Hogwarts a History”. She found the opportunity to talk to a boy next to her. She knew the Sorting ceremony was going to begin soon and she really wanted to know her classmates. Well, she never had many friends anyway…
“Hello! My name is Eugenia. Eugenia Karageorgiadi. How are you?”, she whispered quietly, “What’s your name?”. The boy looked confused. Eugenia guessed anyone would be in such a case. “This is the Great Hall of Hogwarts”, she said “Here, the Sorting ceremony takes place. We will be sorted into houses -Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin- which will determine a lot about our friendships and personalities. Oh look! It’s the Sorting Hat!” The boy finally started to pay attention. Eugenia looked around in anticipation. She couldn’t wait to officially become part of Hogwarts.
