i have a doubt, with Prodigal DADA, do i not have to attend classes and simply write RP posts for all the 5 + 1 spells.?

Hello, I’m not the professor but IC, you would still be attending classes while learning the next year’s spells at the same time. You cannot use prodigal abilities to learn a current year’s spells, so you would need to do the homework to get your current year’s spells. If you already know a spell because you learned it through prodigal in the year prior, there is no reason to complete the homework. Hope this helps!
