deactivate hannah or no??
So, I’ve been thinking about deactivating Hannah for a while now and I’m wondering if I really should or continue with her until her seventh year.
I haven’t been around much lately and I’m not sure what I should do so I need y’all’s opinions!
EDIT: to clarify, I would in fact start with a new character, violet remington, which I’ve already planned A LOT, but idk.. y’all can reply why you think I should keep/deactivate her or whatever

So...I have a question.
Q: Do you have an iNPC?
If not then maybe have Violet as the iNPC and play with both of them? You can play more with Violet if you feel like it but you don't have to deactivate Hannah.

Well if you don't feel like playing out this character anymore, you should definitely deactivate and start anew! There's no problem with that, we all get detached from our characters sometimes!

I think you should deactivate her if you feel like Hannah isn't going the way you wanted or you don't like writing her. It can be good to re-start with a new character. But do whatever feels right to you!!

If you want to, I think that restarting can be exciting! But really, if you'd like to keep hannah, its understandable if you don't want to leave her. Keep in mind that it would be a lot of work to start over. But if your unhappy, then maybe.... It's really what you think YOU want to do!

You should play a character that you enjoy writing- wether that be Hannah or another OC. The decision is ultimately yours, do what you feel is right.
That said! I always try to advocate for people to keep characters- if they can. I understand the appeal of restarting, and sometimes under certain circumstances I will encourage it, but scrapping a character creates a lot of "then what's". Then what happens to Hannah? Then what happens to all the relationships she has developed? Then what happens to the players who you were roleplaying with?
If your reason for deactivation is just a matter of boredom, then try spicing up Hannah's life before you make the decision! Give her a second chance if you think she deserves it, throw her into some interesting situations! You can still have wiggle room while staying true to a character. Keep in mind, characters are also meant to change and grow, it's totally okay for Hannah to change if you think she needs to. Don't box yourself into a single mindset.

UPDATE: I've decided to deactivate Hannah and start again with Violeta Roux; my brand new character. I feel like a fresh start is much needed! Also, I'll only deactivate once I finish the spring ball stuff with Lorelai. Thank you everyone!
