Things were going quite smoothly for Bloom. A scratch here and there, no big deal. She was just focusing on going as fast as she could go through the different units. Little did she know that there would be the infamous Whomping Willow up course. It surprised Bloom, no doubt. So much that she was whacked hard by the branch of the tree. "AAAAAAAAHHHHH," she screamed from the pain of the tree. Her breathing quickened. How was she going to get out of this one?

Still feeling fairly fuzzy, Della felt her broom start to shake. What was she imagining now? Oh no, this felt real. She held on, hoping it wasn't all in her head—it's weird to hope someone was actually stealing your broom from right beneath you. Finally, it stopped. The Gryffindor Captain was able to keep her grip on both the broom and reality.

And then suddenly, she found herself in a whiteout. It was freezing; she could do nothing but slow down and try to keep herself on the track.

Ari was proud of himself for catching what most everyone else didn't see, especially now that he was having to play catch up. Of course that catch up didn't come without a bump or a bruise, but he was used to getting those in these races now. Sometimes getting bonked around by trees or thrown off a broom was necessary to bring a win to the team, and Ari was set to do whatever he could to get another one under Ravenclaw's belt.
