Recognition from the stands
Interacting with: @Beatrice DupontSuzuki hadn't initially planned to spend his time out on the Quidditch pitch, but somehow he ended up in the stands anyway, his Nimbus laid on the ground next to him. It had been quite a while since he was a beater for the Gryffindor team, but much of the movements were still in his head.
He would occasionally glance up from the thick textbook in his lap to the figures darting around on the field. Today was a day for relaxation, a break from the normal tedious days crammed full of classes, homework, and eye strain. But the weather had been too nice- it lured him out of the Gryffindor common rooms and outside. And he'd decided to bring his broom- why not? Just in case, you know.
He recognized a few familiar faces from broom races and Quidditch games, but one stood out more than the rest. A short but athletic-looking girl working on her speed in the air. She was good, her technique precise and clean. What was her name again? No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't match a name to her face.
The curiosity broke his concentration away from the book, and Suzuki placed it on the seat beneath him as he got up and headed toward the girl. He watched from a short distance, waiting until she was facing more in his direction. He shaded his eyes from the sun with one hand and called up."Hey, sorry to bother you. Er, you're really good by the way, I think I've seen you play in matches. Have we met before? I used to play Quidditch. But I'm Kage Suzuki, what's your name? Mind if I maybe join you up there? I brought my broom just in case today."ReducioGiven permission to godmod Beatrice Dupont

Mentioning:February was such a relaxing and nice month to be in. Nature and the Castle's surroundings were slowly starting to shift from Winter to Spring, the sun getting a little warmer and birds chirping in the morning. The days were starting to get less dark and the sun stayed up just a little bit longer, before switching places with the Moon. While there was still a cold breeze, dancing around whoever stepped a foot outside, it was not as cold as it had been the entire winter. You could almost say goodbye to winter coats in this weather.
The ground still made crunching sounds as Beatrice made her way down from the Castle, to the Quidditch Training pitch. It was a bit chilly but she would soon be warm, once up in the air and moving. Surely she would not be alone either on this day, most players got training whenever and wherever they could. The closer she got, the better she could see the figures in the sky, it didn't take long until she was beneath them and ready to mount her broom. She prided herself on her Silver Arrow and it looked accordingly, shiny and clean - just as perfect as her own appearance.
Up in the air, the Slytherin did a few laps to warm up before starting to practice turns and speed. Some students were sat in the benches, which Beatrice tried to not give too much attention to. Most seemed to be focused on other stuff anyway. Her hair, that had been in a tight braid, was getting looser and small strands flew in the wind like little tree branches. Her cheeks were rosy from the air and her eyes slightly watery as she flew further up and let herself race down a couple meters before stopping her broom and getting back up. She was about to do another lap when she spotted a boy in the stands.
His hair was dark and buzzed and Beatrice could not recall ever meeting him, especially because he looked much taller and older than her - she would remember if he was an acquaintance, right? He was saying something, which she couldn't fully understand - was he talking to her? Yes, he was looking at her. Beatrice directed her broom closer until she could hear him. Gladly her cheeks were already flushed, otherwise his compliment would have given them a slight pinkness. She cleared her throat and called back just loud enough for him to hear.
„Uh, hello! Yeah sure, come up. I'm Beatrice - but I'm only second string seeker, I believe you are mistaking me with someone else.“ She hoovered in the air, a bit awkward and unsure of what to say other than that, yet remaining in her perfect posture and neutral expression. Once he was closer, she gave him a small smile. Meeting someone new had not been something she was expecting today. „What position did you play?“
