A Stinky Valentine's Day Surprise!
♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ [A STINKY VALENTINE'S DAY SURPRISE!] ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡
Description: Someone pranked Transfiguration Classroom and it is full of dungbombs and exploding bon-bons residue. So Argento is collecting every student to come clean up the mess.
Argento had walked into a complete chaos in his classroom. He had prided himself of keeping his class tidy and clean. He was shocked to see his classroom in such a condition. He sighed in despair as he walked inside the classroom. What a condition it was in! And on this special day. He was hoping to have a quiet time reading and cuddling with his husband. It was after all Valentine's Day. But now he had to manage this mess.
"Everyone listen up!" Argento said in his Irish accent. "No one goes anywhere until this whole classroom is spotless. I don't care who the culprit is. But you all will have to help clean up." He said grimacing at the condition of his beloved classroom. "Pick a corner or a place to start and start cleaning up this mess." He said looking at the students there.
He looked around the room. His heart was sinking looking at the mess. He was going to be stuck here instead of being with his husband. He sighed as he let that though pass him by. He glanced at the students and clapped his hands. "Chop-chop! Come on everyone! I would like this classroom to be restored to what it's former glory." He said looking at them sternly. He crossed his hands across his chest and glared at the students with a frown on his face.

A Stinky Valentine's Day Surprise!

Lily had signed up to help with cleaning up the Transfiguration corner. Don't ask why, she must have been delusional. Especially since it was Valentine's day. But she didn't have a boyfriend- or anyone really- to spend the day with. So...she was definitely going to be bored so this was something to do.
Lily was the first one to arrive. The professor looked really unhappy about the state of his classroom. Which was pretty bad, now that she looked around. There was black dust everywhere (she assumed residue from the bon-bons) as well as dungbombs. Whoever did this definitely had a field day.
Now that she thought about it, who would do this? Maybe someone who hated the teacher. Or someone who really wanted to get the students to work. Which made sense. Partially.
Lily sighed as the classroom filled up. No one she knew yet. Once the teacher finally decided everyone was there, he told them they had to get it perfectly clean before they leave. Lily rolled her eyes. Like they needed telling.
She chose to start by picking up the dungbombs. But came the problem of where to put them. Eventually she just started to pile them near the door.

He'd just finished his Potions class for the afternoon and was now done with classes for the rest of the day. If this had been an ordinary afternoon, he'd have gone off to a club meeting or done some homework. But he didn't have a meeting today as it was Valentine's Day and most people were out and about. As for homework, he was about to head off to a quiet place to do it when a rather nasty familiar smell wafted into his nostrils. Dungbombs. Could someone have set some off somewhere nearby? He heard a familiar voice a few seconds later from behind a closed door. Something about cleaning up the place. Well, Kim could help out with that. He was actually pretty good at cleaning things and knew a lot of people didn't like doing that. Therefore, it was usually something that didn't have a lot of people around, which was right up his alley. So, Kim opened the door to the Transfiguration classroom and entered to volunteer his own help in cleaning up the room. Maybe he could get it all done before anyone else showed up, if he was the only one there. Only one other person was there, someone he actually recognized but wasn't that familiar with, at least not at this time now. A sigh escaped his lips. Lily wasn't close enough to him that she would ask questions and try to delve into his life. Not like her cousin. It was why Kim was steering clear of anyone/everyone he used to know. By 'used to know', he meant people who would exchange more than a simple greeting. Anyone that fit the latter category was fine to see, as they probably wouldn't say much other than a simple hello. As he got accustomed to the room, he smelled another familiar scent, the residue of chocolate bonbons. Ah, the memories. Kim couldn't help but remember a time when he'd used them before. Maybe he should do it again sometime in the future. Dungbombs and exploding bonbons. What a combination. It totally ruined the flavor and smell of the bonbons because who would want to eat or lick the residue when dungbombs were around too? Kim sighed as he looked around the room, having stayed by the doorway for quite some time now. But he could afford to spend a few minutes there. After all, there was no one but Lily and him inside and no one behind him either. A few minutes wouldn't matter as he debated about whether to stay and help out or not. It wasn't his class.... Which meant it wasn't his problem. He had no obligation to help clean the room, so could just walk away from this if he wanted to. But it was around that time that destiny caught up with him. As he was deciding whether to stay and help out or leave and let the members of the current class take care of things, someone ran into him. Kim heard a faint exclamation of surprise and glanced over to see another familiar face there. Bailey Glade. The one he couldn't help but refer to inside his mind as the Sunshine Princess. Not that he'd ever tell her or anyone else that for that matter. Admitting such a thing was embarrassing and Kim didn't like being embarrassed much. It almost happened in slow-mode, as Kim watched Bailey lose her balance and then start to fall. The two of them were close to the doorframe and if she ended up falling now, she'd probably hurt her head on the door frame. Kim reacted instinctively and reached out to catch her in his arms, closing the short distance between the two of them. One arm supported her from below, while the other caressed the back of her head, ensuring she wouldn't hit her head on the frame. He grimaced as the frame made contact with the back of his fingers. Some of the wood even scratched his knuckles a little. But Bailey's head was safe from harm. The only thing that had been hurt were the fingers of his right hand. However, it looked to any casual observer that the two were now engaged in a rather romantic overture. Kim was holding Bailey in his arms, dipping her even, and it looked like a scene from a drama. "You alright?" He asked, letting his blue eyes linger on Bailey for a moment. For some reason, he felt something stir within him. Something he hadn't felt for awhile. It was probably just saving someone, he hadn't done that in awhile because he'd been avoiding everyone to protect them. Yes, it was the most likely reason for this feeling now. |

Kaitlyn was on her way to the library from History of Magic. While it was Valentine’s Day, she wanted to get a decent amount of studying in, regardless. It wasn’t like she had any plans. The first year Slytherin was very single, which made sense. She was only twelve, after all. And yet, she was a little down. She was missing her amazing muggle friend group. They would normally hang out together on Valentine’s day. They’d paint each others’ nails, style each others’ hair, see a movie together, and eat a meal together. This was her first Valentine’s Day without them. She was well aware that the movie part was out of the question. But, she hoped to ask her friends if they wanted to spend time together. It would make her feel less lonely, which would be nice.
As she was about to pass the Transfiguration classroom, Kaitlyn swore she smelled the unmistakable stench of dung bombs and commotion. Curiosity got the better of her, and she entered the Transfiguration classroom. As she entered, she was met with a giant whiff of dung bombs and exploding bon-bon residue. She sighed and frowned. There were students already starting to clean up the mess. ‘Really, the culprit should be doing this, not all of us,’ she thought.
Katie’s sense of wanting to help out overpowered her. Despite being dressed immaculately, like she just stepped out of a wardrobe filled with ironed outfits, she was willing to help. She personally didn’t mind the pranks that the other students played, as long as none interfered with her. With a sigh, she approached a corner of the room not being occupied by students, still oh so shy and awkward around others. It didn’t help that she knew no one, yet, helping out.
Shaking her head, Kaitlyn crouched down, and starting to pick up the dung bombs. Her slender fingers gently pinched the dung bombs to pick them up. They emitted a pugnant smell, similar to dung, when touched. It was sickly to even think about, and yet enjoytable for her to touch. It was a little weird, sure. She placed them in a neat pile nearby her. ‘I’m going to have to ask Professor Perceval-Phelan where he wants us to dispose of these. That’s bound to be easier when, hopefully, more students show up,’ she thought. As she heard the other students around her, she continued her work of trying to lean up some dung bombs around the room.Reducio

A Stinky Valentine's Day Surprise!
"I love you for all that you are, all that you have been, and all that you will be."✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧
Ugh, what a perfect way to start transfiguration class, and on Valentine’s Day especially. It wasn’t me who stink bombed it, yet I’d have to spend a class cleaning anyways, great. It did smell awful, like, awful, would I really have to be breathing this in for so long? I think I’d rather die. Maybe I could just pretend to pass out from the smell? No, that’s not the right thing, I shouldn’t do that. But, it might still be worth it, cause this STINKS!
Wrinkling my nose and holding my breath, I sunk down to the floor bending my knees, starting this awful job of cleaning. I started picking up the wretched stink bombs scattered across the entire floor. I gagged every time I was forced to breath in so I didn’t pass out from lack of oxygen, though it might just be better than breathing this in. God how many stink bombs are there?! I thought Geez!
Ugh, this sucked so bad, like, seriously. Why did someone have to do this? Now, everyone had to suffer, both through the awful smell and the fact that we'd need to spend a whole class just cleaning up this disgusting mess. This is transfiguration class right? Why not just transform te bad smell into like roses or something? I'm quite sure that's not how it works but still, there's got to be a spell for that, like, come on, this is a magic school!
Right now, seeing his classroom like this, the professor, he didn't look too happy, like, at all. I hated it when teachers were mad, because usually everyone would end up miserable, and we'd have to work really hard to clean this up so that he wouldn't get too mad.
Out of every prank someone could have pulled, why stink bombs? Why! I would never like the smell of a stink bomb of course, but I especially am more sensitive to smells than things like taste or hearing, not to say I'm bad at those or anything.
Honestly, I was about to go up to the professor and ask to go to the washroom, and just stay there all class, it would certainly be better than here. I would've except for the fact I'm scared of angry professors. I just sighed and accepted my fate of cleaning up these stink bombs, before realizing I'd need to breathe back in now...

A Stinky Valentine's Day Surprise!

Lily finished picking up most of the dungbombs and went to grab a bucket of soapy water with lavender scent in it. Once she got back to the classroom, she took a sponge and started to scrub the residue off of things. She really just wanted to be left alone because she didn't feel like talking to anyone. This would be her second year spending Valentine's alone and she was not at all enthusiastic. Colin would most likely be spending it with Clair Fernandez. Liam might be free but she highly doubted it. So once again it would be a lonely Valentine's day again
Lily started to scrub the floor where the residue was pushing her hair behind her ear. Eventually Lily stopped and pulled her hair up into a ponytail and then a bun to which she clipped it up with a black hair clip. She continued to scrub pushing her sleeves up past her elbows. By the time she was done scrubbing up some of the residue the rest of the classroom was nice and tidy because of the combined efforts of the students. Lily smiled lookin around before waving good-bye to the people and went back up to her dormitory.

Last fall, Sere was still a new student trying to figure out the customs at Hogwarts. She tried to obey everything, including when the Care of Magical Creatures professor asked the students to help her clean up the weird weeds in the Great Lake. This is the second time the Professor asked the students for help in cleaning something. Sere starts to analyze that maybe the cleaning-together thing is one of the custom in Hogwarts. I think there will always be a mess for the students to clean up in this school.
Because of her love in Transfiguration, Sere decided to come to the class and help cleaning it at the time she heard the news that there is a chaos caused by prankster in the Transfiguration classroom. Today is Valentine's Day and Sere feels that there will be no students enough because, of course, there are not many students choosinh the academics more than their friends and loved ones on this special day. When she arrived at the class closest to her house -Gryffindor- Sere took a deep breath. This is messier than I imagined. Dungbombs and the residue of exploding bon-bons are everything she could see, covering up the neat impression that everyday Transfiguration class always brought.
Sere entered the classroom, approaching the small crowd of volunteers who had also come today to help the professor clean the classroom. The girl used her obsidian to observe at the students' coming today: there is a student come with the other whom Sere knew as his significant one -not surprising because today is Valentine's Day-, some of the students seemed to have come together because they looked like friends to each other, and there are others -including herself- come alone. Maybe those who come alone also has a love for the Transfiguration. Umm... but apparently there are not that many people here. It's a shame that they missed the most fun subject.
When the professor's briefing was finished, Sere took out her gloves and started cleaning the area around the Professor's desk and shelves. She wiped the table and swept the floor, something she could do easily considering that she always cleaned her own room. "Who's that mischievous person actually?" Sere hissed in annoyance when it is the time to scrub the floor using the sponge. She crouched down while whispering, "This kind of mess obviously won't be all-cleaned just by sweeping it up." At times like this, Sere hopes that there is a spell that can clean everything in a short time, but no, Sere feels that she has never learned that kind of spell until now.
An hour being there and doing her parts, Sere threw the sponge back into the water bucket which already looked murky. "Done, Finally!" Sere nodded with satisfaction to see that not only her, but many students, are working together and trying to make this class even cleaner than before. Sere lifted the bucket and walked out of the Transfiguration classroom. Another cleaning task at Hogwarts completed in Valentine's Day. I'm curious where and when will the next cleaning activity be held.

A Stinky Valentine's Day Surprise!
Interacting with @ IC Date - 14/02/24 WC 450/400 Color Legend - thoughts It stunk, terribly. For some reason a few students had thought that it would be funny to throw dungbombs and exploding bon-bons into the transfiguration classroom. Mylo saw that Professor Perceval-Phelan had been asking students to come and help clean up, and as they had finished their classes, didn't really have anything else to do and quite liked the repetitive actions of cleaning he decided to go and help. They hadn't been quite expecting the amount of mess and stink to though,
'Jeez, how much damage did those people do, and why on earth would you even want to do something like that.' Mylo thought, greeting the professor and getting some cleaning supplies. 'Lets just get started in the corners, those are often the parts that are hardest to get and such.' Getting themselves into a corner he just starts going at it, trying to remove the exploding bon bon residue. It took a lot more effort than he was expecting but eventually they managed to clean a singular corner. Luckily he wasn't the only one helping to clean up. 'It shouldn't take too long, let's hope they didn't manage to get it into any other weird and wonderful places.'
Continuing to clean Mylo found himself, as usual, soothed by the repetitive motions, and started thinking about the rest of the week. He had a few more days of classes left and it would be the weekend, they would be able to go out a bit more. They really liked walking around the grounds looking at the different plants and animals he could find. He'd heard of the care of magical creatures class and couldn't wait until they were old enough to take it. He also had plans to get through another book that he was quite enjoying and to finish some homework. School life was a busy life.
Putting in quite a bit more elbow grease they managed to finally get a very stubborn bit of residue off the floor, it really hadn't wanted to come off. As Mylo looked around to see if there was anywhere else he could try and get rid of more dirt they realized the classroom was clean, noticing that other students were readying themselves to leave Mylo decided to also clean their stuff and start getting ready to head off to his room, deciding that they might need to get changed and maybe have a shower before having tea. Feeling quite pleased with themselves Mylo was starting to feel quite hungry, it had taken quite the while to clean the entire room and he thought to himself, 'I think I deserve a little cupcake tonight, it's valentines after all.'

Although Paige was easily disgusted, she felt sympathy for the poor professor whos classroom had recently been pranked. Dungbombs and exploding bon-bons. That's what had exploded in the classroom. She knew what it was like to be pranked. Even in the muggle world, Paige was prone to pranks. Both from friends and from bullies. It wasn't nice. For these reasons, she decided to add her name to the roster and help the poor Transfiguration Professor clean his classroom.
Paige ventured to the classroom, holding her nose with the sleeve of her robe. Perhaps better preparation would have been useful. A door stood in front of her, towering over Paige as most other things did. As she opened the door, letting off a loud screech, she was confronted by a room full of students. None looked pleased. Some wore thick masks, others had pegs clipped to their noses. Paige flinched at the thought of something pinching her nose. The smell was putrid, and the room was a mess. Every crevice was covered in sticky goo, and gas was lingering through the air. She gagged. Whoever did this ought to receive detention. And she wished this happened soon. Paige would never in her life even think about doing something this wild. It was totally barbaric!
Paige walked over to the shelf and picked up a pair of gloves, slipping them over her fingers. There was absolutely no way she would pick the objects up with her bare hands. Paige looked around, searching for an area that wasn't too badly affected. She then shuffled over to the corner of the room, which contained about ten dung bombs and, pinching her nose with one hand, began picking them up. The smell was rotten. It smelt exactly as cow dung would. Even through her sleeve Paige could smell it. Her head began to swirl, it was too much!
She bolted to the door, passing the students who curiously looked up at her. Swinging the door open, she stuck her head out and gasped for fresh air. She could feel her ribs lifting and sinking, over and over again. Taking one last deep breath, she creeped back into the polluted room.
Looking around her, she could tell that nobody enjoyed this moment. Why had she signed up for this? She was regretting it more and more. It wasn't worth it. She didn't care how desperate the professor was for cleaners at this point.
She could be spending Valentine's Day with her boyfriend, but instead, she was here. In a classroom. Full of stinky substances from dung bombs and exploding bon-bons.
Paige couldn't even think of a spell at this point to help discard of this mess. She sighed as she continued collecting the joke items. Could this day just hurry up and end? It felt like hours passed, although in reality, it was only a few minutes.

───•─•────────────────────────────────────•─•───
───•─•────────────────────────────────────•─•───A sickly sweet stench of manure laced with confection billowed from the Transfiguration hallway in waves of increasing nausea. There had been no intention of traveling down that way. Not right now, at least. Had she so chosen, Evelynn could have turned a blind eye, continued forward, and left whatever misdeeds were obviously transpiring to those with the authority—and responsibility—to do something about it. And yet, her steps had come to a halt, her figure all but framed within the entrance to that corridor. Perhaps it was her previous experience as a prefect that lead her to pause. Others might claim it was her humanitarian nature to aid with a mess. Still some might take a jab at her insatiable curiosity and propensity for getting involved in matters that she'd have been better left untroubled.
The reality—in this moment, at least—was that the foul aroma was an affront to an already foul day and she knew that sooner or later, she would have to attend Transfiguration and whatever the source of this unpleasantry had better be cleaned up by the time that came. Regardless of the fact that there were already efforts in place to do just that, it wouldn't have changed her path. Heels clicked on stone once more as her trek deviated down the hall and towards the class, echoing off the walls. The only way she would know it to be sufficiently cleared up so that she wouldn't fight the urge to retch—and go hunting for those responsible as a result—was if she volunteered to handle it herself.
Plus it was maybe a good excuse to distract herself from the nature of the day for a time.
By the time she stepped through the doorway, her black walnut wand was already in hand. For a moment, she stood there, eyes panning the interior in cool appraisal. Although there were a decent few students already in the process of cleaning what appeared to be the amateur work of some prankster or other, they all appeared quite young. Hardly any of them were familiar to her. It was moments like these that Evelynn was reminded of how out of touch she had become with the rest of the student body. There used to be a time where she could greet just about everyone by name.
"Move." Directing her command to whichever first year had chosen to step into her line of site as she set forward from the doorway, the ex-prefect entered with an air of annoyed confidence. "Why do none of you have your wands out? It is well over half-way through the school year. You should all know the Scouring Charm by now. Make yourselves useful. Consider this practice if you must." She pointed her wand at a mess of bon-bon residue before she stepped in it, and as though to demonstrate, firmly enunciated, "Scourgify."
From then, it was as though the lioness took personal offense—she did—to the state of the room, attacking it with spell after spell. "Scourgify! Scourgify!" Patches of dirt and dust and sticky residue cleared away with every cast. "Lambent lutum!" A section of dung bomb residue disappeared into the tip of her wand as though being sucked through a vacuum. Every now and then, she'd send forth an "Aqua eructo", "Aer calidus", or "Reparo".
