The last thing Elisa ever imagined was joining a Quidditch match, even if it was unofficial. Since her childhood, she had thought Quidditch was hard, not because she didn't have the will to play but because her uncle and cousins had forced her to play it but just like what had happened with the unofficial broom racing match, she had yet again signed up for some reason, maybe Hogwarts was indeed changing her,
As she walked onto the pitch with a newly borrowed Nimbus 1001, her mind was completely stuck on the broom, her parents had never allowed her to ride a broom faster than the Cleansweep 3 which in fact belonged to a cousin of hers, but right now the young Slytherin wished for nothing more than riding broom,
As she walked past the other team, Elisa was able to notice just one familiar face, which was @Alejandro Garcia, a guy who was in her team during the unofficial broom racing match, She never really got the chance to interact much with him but neither was she planning to. As the young blonde finally reached her team, she slowly mixed with her teammates,
After a while, she heard an older year boy finally wish them all good luck, As soon as she heard it, the young girl immediately mounted her broom since the match was starting soon, Elisa flew around to get into a proper position, a bit of nervousness hit her, she was the keeper, avoiding the other team from scoring was her main role but what if she messed up?
After a while of battling her brain, the young Slytherin finally got ahold of herself and calmed herself down after 4-5 deep breaths and mentally started preparing herself for everything that was yet to come, whether it be good or bad.Actions - As strategized

Alex was ready, he had made sure his broom was ready for the game. And that he knew the weather. It was pretty cold, and windy. Not to bad, it could be worse. The weather would be good practice. After all, what would he be if he could only play in perfect weather? He would be playing with and against various houses, and years. Not just Gryffindor's or Ravenclaws, etc.
He would be playing first string, flying on his trusty Nimbus 1500. His first, and so far only broom. As the roll of beater, he would need to be pretty helpful. He hoped that he could make his team proud. Alex mounted the broom, and flew up to the starting position. The wind flowing through his messy hair. He had a grin on his face, knowing that if he won or lost. It still would be good practice.
So that he could know what he needed to work on for his next game. Being a second string on the official team, he did not have a whole bunch of on field experience. He did work on a lot of practice being mostly formations, or trying to work on hitting the buldger. So he felt he could do this team well. Even as a first year.

*.·:·.☽✧ ✦ ✧☾.·:·.*Had she only seen the advertisements around the school, Ruby would have likely dismissed the idea of participating in an unofficial Quidditch match. She had little time for such frivolous games nowadays, or so she thought. However, instead of seeing the flyers, Ruby had been approached by Koko personally, who had asked her to play. She had no real reason to reject the invitation when directly asked—if her friend wanted support, she would give it. So, on that windy Saturday, Ruby could be found making her way to the pitch, unbothered by the weather and the squelch of the mud as she walked.
It had been a long time since she had been a part of anything resembling a proper Quidditch game. Back in her first two years at the school, she had been a part of Slytherin’s team as a Chaser, and she had been pretty successful at scoring goals. She enjoyed Quidditch—she always had, and her cousins had only served to further encourage that growing up—so joining the team back then had seemed natural. Equally natural, though, was the shifting of her focus to duelling as soon as the teams were being established in her third year. Still, while duelling was undoubtedly the best sport for her, her love for Quidditch had not disappeared, and the idea of playing again—even unofficially—was admittedly nice now that she had committed to it.
As people arrived and the teams assembled, Ruby’s calculating scanning of the other students was interrupted by the sight and sound of Pericles approaching her—she hadn’t quite expected that, given the number of lower years apparently participating, but she was certainly glad to see him. Her face softened almost instinctually, smile widening as he squeezed her hand. “Pericles,” she warmly responded in turn. It seemed he wouldn’t be immediately joining her in the skies, which was a shame, but she was just happy to see him here at all. Largely ignoring the rest of her teammates—sparing only a brief glance around at them—she mounted her broom and got into position. Her stony eyes were fixed on the opponent team as she readied herself to leap into action whenever the whistle was blown.Action: As strategized | Mentions: @Koko Riddle, @Pericles DraltReducioStats: Stamina: 9 | Evasion: 11 | Strength: 5 | Wisdom: 14 | Arcane Power: 11 | Accuracy: 15

The Quaffle
When not every Chaser joined the fight for the Quaffle, Koko at first thought March Calister would be sent to blatch some poor, unfortunate soul. However, the quick, speedy assault on the Quaffle made her glance at the hoops. Oh, she felt for Simon. As Ruby grabbed the Quaffle once, Simon blocked, and after Ruby wrestled the Quaffle away from Renelle, Simon blocked again. His technique was good ─ especially for someone who wasn't a Quidditch player, let alone a Keeper!
Poor Elisa would be seeing all of the Quaffle action from afar, as some Keepers often had to do. Ruby grabbed the Quaffle once again and scored. Then, things got interesting! Renelle grabbed the Quaffle, and once again, with good form, Simon blocked. However, it seemed either he was getting tired or Renelle had a sudden surge of energy, because after grabbing the Quaffle again, she easily got it past him.

Meanwhile, both Seekers would, in the way Seekers do, squint around the pitch. They would both search with all of their might, and for Raizel, she would see the Snitch almost immediately. It was there, shining brightly against the dreary sullenness of the clouds in a lovely halo of gold.
Astra was not quite so lucky. Any sight of the Snitch would elude her, the object fluttering everywhere she just wasn't looking.

Perhaps the best, or worst, depending on who you were, part of Quidditch... the bludgers. The big, bad bludgers. Koko herself didn't worry about them too much anymore, and as a Keeper, they rarely found their way to her, but it seemed that these students were already out for blood.
Ophelia tried to send a bludger at Raizel, but it flew just far away from the Gryffindor, not hitting anyone in the process. Sometimes bludgers had a mind of their own.
Rebecca and Ulysses had something clearly different in mind. Perhaps they knew that teamwork was dreamwork, or that there was no 'I' in team, or something else. No matter what it was, they banded together and sent a bludger flying towards poor Alexander Mason, who took the brunt of the attack and fell from his broom, unconscious. It would seem that Team 2's second-string Beater would get to play today!

What an adrenaline rush! The instant the game was afoot, there were five people on brooms jostling and maneuvering to get their eager paws on that Quaffle. AngelFyre was not even certain she had seen a Quaffle up close until it became necessary for her to try and grab it, but try she did... with no success. She came close very close to grabbing it on the third grab, but she was deftly out maneuvered by an upperclassman who had some spectacular moves. Even in the midst of the battle, AngelFyre could not help but be impressed with the Team 2 power duo. No matter what she and Alyssea did, they just could not get to that elusive Quaffle. The competition was so fierce that the power duo opponents even fought amongst themselves to snatch it from each other. Just wow.
The first two times it was grabbed, AngelFyre could do nothing but chase after the older Chaser as she sped off to the rings, vainly praying she might drop it. Not bloody likely, but she felt like it was better to tail her and be there just in case something unexpected happened. As expected, nothing unexpected happened, so it was now up to Simon.
He was nothing short of magnificent. The first two attempts by Team 2 to score were expertly blocked by him. Her heart was pounding in her chest watching him fend off the first two the goal attempts, but even her boy was not perfect. The third attempt to score against Simon was a success, and not surprisingly, it was the upperclassman who snuck it past him. It was a disappointing moment, but she was very proud of him.
Still, if she had done her part, Simon would not have had to work so hard performing his. The battle needed to be moved to the other end, putting Team 1's Keeper to the test. The question was how to make that happen. Thinking in the moment was a luxury. Only the instinct to respond seemed to be present. More scrimmaging for the Quaffle took place, and AngelFyre did not even have time to question in those frenetic moments whether "scrimmaging" was even a proper term for this game.
As before, she was fixated on making contact with the Quaffle and was denied the pleasure. So was Alyssea. But this time it was both infuriating and impressive. A first year grabbed it and flew immediately to the rings to face off with Simon. She smiled as she the girl launched the Quaffle at the rings and was valiantly blocked. AngelFyre might have been bested by the first year, but Simon had not been. The fifth go at the Quaffle was a rinse and repeat of the fourth attempt with one sad exception; this time the first year would score as the Quaffle sailed past Simon and Team 2 ended the Round with 20 points credited to their side.
A little disappointing, but it was early yet. There was still time to make a comeback. Colin had been good-naturedly smack talking her up for days... and putting her in a daze... about how she and her team were going down. She smack talked back, of course, but those memories of his seemingly manifested true-to-life taunts alone were enough to ignite a searing white fire in her core. The desire to change their current downward trajectory had no less than tripled in just a few short minutes. The one shining moment in their favor was that their Beaters had taken down one of Team 2's Beaters. Not a completely devastating Round for Team 1, but it did not rise to the level of what could be characterized as good either. At least they knew what they were up against now... or more precisely... whom they were up against. That would surely make a difference.
Hopefully.
Maybe.
Or not.
Round 2 just had to be better. Or not.

❂《 ⌜ February 10, 2024 ▎ 14:00 ⌟▛▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔Broom steady among her teammates in the sky, waiting for the match to start. The sound of the whistles echoed, enough to tell her that the game was on. As far as Raizel knows, Quidditch is just as brutal as any other wizarding sport if you don't count wizard chess. Bludgers, blatching and usually, they go for the Seeker based on what her friend, Fang Hui-Ying told her when she visited her in the Hospital Wing after getting hit by a bludger. That was after a Quidditch practice match last summer camp. Whole team went after her from what she heard. Talk about brutality.
Raizel sure doesn't want to find out how painful it is to get hit by a bludger while scouring the vast pitch for a tiny golden ball and those are hard to find. Looking back at her teammates and their opponents, the battle for the Quaffle was happening which isn't that surprising and boy, the chaser in the other team sure was scary but looks like their Keeper managed to block a couple of shots. Aside from that, their beaters, Ulysses and the Ravenclaw that she doesn't know the name of had knocked down someone from the other team. “Ow, that's gotta be painful…” she uttered.
The same fate could've fell on her, but luckily, it didn't. A bludger sent by their opponent went rushing towards her which went past just before her. It left her in complete shock, almost falling off of the broom due to surprise but luckily, she kept her grip on the broom. Yup, they were right, people do go for the Seeker first in some games if not mostly. “Wasn't expecting for this to be a peaceful role anyway.” Raizel uttered before continuing her search.
How long will it take for a complete beginner like her to find it? It's not gonna just appear before her after all. Just as she was thinking of that though, a glint caught her attention, head snapping towards the direction where she had seen it and sure enough, there it was, the famous golden snitch. “Totally unexpected.” She said in disbelief. Beginner's luck? Perhaps. Whatever it is, she's taking it.

<nimbus 1000> <sta 6 | eva 5 | str 6 | wis 7 | arc 6 | acc 5>Okay, so maybe Ophelia had gotten a bit too excited about this match. Being a Beater meant that Ophelia was one of the ones who could inflict serious damage to the other players. Before, this had felt like a safer option, since being able to inflict pain should mean that she, herself, would receive less pain. But one look at her poor Beater teammate would show her that she'd been severely misguided on her thought process. To know that that could happen to her as well scared Ophelia to the core, but she knew that she couldn't back down now. The benched beater from their team was already going to have to play and it was up to her to keep up her end of the bargain and not back down or get knocked out.
The idea of trying to bludger Raizel though, Ophelia didn't even know where that had come from. She wasn't the attack first ask questions later type of person, but it had felt like she'd been possessed. One moment she was scared to death holding a bat and wondering what to do with it, the next a bludger was flying at her and she didn't think, she just swung the bat to defend herself. The bludger getting aimed at the older Gryffindor student though, that was a complete honest accident, and on some level, Ophelia was relieved that it hadn't hit its target.
Don't get her wrong, she wanted to succeed in her role as Beater, she really did. But she wanted it to happen on her own terms. No more accidental swings and near misses. Ophelia was a perfectionist and even though this game had already given her enough of a fright, she was going to play like one.<action> as team decides<tags> @Raizel Voltrouz | @Alexander Mason | @Leon Richardson

Pericles waited and watched from the sidelines with folded arms and darting eyes. The stakes were low, this being an unofficial game and all, but it wouldn't stop the players from using it as an opportunity to practice authentically. What was to be learned if they weren't giving it their all? Ever of the same practical mindset, Ruby played with the flair and ferocity he had come to not only expect, but respect. The Ravenclaw grinned as she netted them a score, putting pinched fingers to his lips for a rallying whistle that rang out across the pitch. But his joy was short-lived. Unsurprisingly, someone was already tumbling from the sky, and the fifth-year jolted into action. He might not have had the chance to play, yet Pericles could practice something else: field first-aid.
In official Quidditch, players were usually left to smash into the dirt, though the pureblood considered this an act of needless barbarism. "Arresto Momentum." The first-year's fall was slowed, and the Ravenclaw moved beneath him, hastily appraising the damage once he drifted into his open arms. "Oh, that looks... not good," Peri muttered, hauling Alexander to the sidelines to get to work. He was no nurse's apprentice, but he was confident enough in his abilities to prep him for the Hospital Wing. After rifling through a satchel, he began by applying a few drops of Essence of Dittany, casting Episkey to alleviate pain, and following with Ferula to bandage him up. Pericles worked quickly and quietly, glancing up now and again to keep an eye on the action. "Time to wake up." The final step involved half a vial of Revive Potion. He might not be able to get back in the game, but at least he could watch, or fly himself to the Hospital Wing.

Alyssea nodded to AngelFyre. "Stay focused." Of course, Alyssea didn't know how well she could actually follow her own advice. There were going to be bludgers thrown about and she might just be at the receiving end of it. These bludgers were the reason why she stuck to the duelling piste and racing track rather than the Quidditch pitch.
The quaffle grabs were... not the best Alyssea had ever done. Then again, this would be her second time playing the role and perhaps she was just rusty. She and AngelFyre went for the grabs but found themselves empty-handed. The other team's chaser was a powerhouse and just kept taking quaffles. Of course, Alyssea could trust in their Keeper to keep the rings guarded. The twenty points was disheartening to hear, but that was only two out of five.
In the corner of her eye, she saw a body falling right to the ground before slowing down and being picked up by Pericles. She smiled at the kind gesture and turned to Ulysses and Rebecca. What a duo, already taking out someone within the first few minutes of the match. She was glad to have some passionate beaters on the team, however violent they may be.
Between Raizel and Astra, Raizel looked to have the upper hand. Alyssea bit her lip. "Time to start praying."action: praying to tatsu and as strategised.
