Ophelia couldn't believe how fast her Nimbus could go. Sure, she hadn't exactly spent her free time testing out its limits, but she'd believed that it was much slower than the reality. As soon as the older Ravenclaw gave the command to begin, she was zooming through the air, her breath catching in her throat as she realised how fast she was actually going.

Trying her best not to look down, Ophelia looked at the people flying beside her. Most everyone was already going, but it seemed that Maverick had somehow rammed right into Renelle, which she guessed was an accident. The ones closest to her were Astra and Renelle of the opposite team.

Catching herself doing something that could easily get her seriously injured, Ophelia turned her eyes back on the track ahead of her. As far as she could tell, there was still a lot more for her to get through before finishing the race, and she would have to stay focused so that she wasn't the one to accidentally hit someone, or worse, knock herself or someone else off the broom.

Ophelia shifted into a better position on the broom, her eyes fixed on the next obstacle that she would have to go through. Pigeons. It seemed silly, but she could tell that it would hurt. She steeled herself and kept going.

I watched with wide eyes as a second year, Maverick Castle, attempted to blatch one of my teammates and friends Renelle. “Watch out watch out!” I muttered under my breath with panic in my voice. She successfully managed to avoid it, though I wasn’t at all surprised, she was good at this sort of stuff. Ahead, far up on the tracks was Astra, my team was doing pretty well I see. I smiled at the thought. Right, time to get to actions of my own now I thought. Whipping out my wand, I cast the snowflake creating spell. I didn’t know how much it would do, but it was the first one I thought of, so it would have to be good enough. Luckily, it worked out, see, my team really was doing good. Blanching scared me. I didn’t really want to get hurt today, I wanted my team to win, but not for me to get hurt. Decisions sucked to make, there were too many of them and too many of them that could go wrong. I looked around at all the other racers flying around me. For a moment, I tried to close my eyes, usually that helped with decisions, nope! Not a good idea during a race I thought. I guess we’d just need to make them as I go.

Today was just a normal day with normal classes until I went to watch the broom race for the Racers Academy. I could watch and learn from the racers. I'm still not sure which sport I wanted to choose. For now I'm just trying out the different sports offered here at Hogwarts. I signed up for the Racers Academy and signed up for a Unofficial quidditch match, which was 3 days away. Both of these sports involved a broom. I've been getting classes from Maverick so hopefully I was ready for the quidditch match this Saturday.

I walked out to the outdoor club area and sat down to watch. Then out of the blue a distressed Zach Zaphiere ran up to me and said "Something's happened to Maverick, you've got to replace him and join the race."
"Ok let me get my broom first." was what I said on the outside. But on the inside I was freaking out. Turns out I was going to try out broom racing earlier than I thought. I sprinted up the stairs to the Gryffindor common and grabbed my Comet 260 and ran down the stairs. I could have flew down but I'll admit I was still a little scared. When I got down I quickly mounted my broom. Hope the others aren't too far ahead.

Elisa's mind didn't work properly at all when the race started at first, all her concentration was on her broom, and the last thing she wanted was to fall off her broom due to some distraction, As the two teams flew, Elisa noticed Maverick try blatching one of the opponents but the poor guy didn't succeed in doing so, The young Slytherin deep inside hoped that the boy would have succeded in the blatch attempt but guess it was the opponent team's luck and skills,

Elisa was determined to match her speed alongside Ophelia, but her fear was slowly starting to consume her, her mind filled with thoughts like 'What if I fall?', 'Will I survive the fall from this height' and many else, she was instantly removed from the trance of her mind when she noticed, Renelle, Astra and Opheila who were far away in the front from her, this was when reality hit the currently nervous girl as she immediately shifted her whole attention to the game while controlling her broom, she also shifted herself in the broom to get a comfortable position while hoping deep inside that she or no one else gets injured or maybe just her teammates dont.

Maverick was unable to continue the race. Luckily, Alejandro Garcia, a first year Gryffindor, was there to spectate the race. Zach ran towards him and asked if he wanted to play, replacing Maverick. The good thing was he said yes. Then the race continue with Alejandro flew from the starting point.

In the other hand, a spell casting happened. Ophelia cast Dancing-Feet Spell towards Astra. But Astra was lucky enough that the spell didn't hit her. It might be caused by Ophelia's vision from the fog.

Alejandro was zooming his way to pass the unit 1. The mini snowfall could he pass easily but when it was about the real snowfall, it seemed he couldn't stand it. It looked like he was in cold. His movement seemed weird.

Elisa flew from the unit 3 to pass the fog in unit 4. But unfortunately, she couldn't pass it. The fog disrupted her mind and she might feel something funny in her head. Poor her. But her teammate, Alejandro, could pass the fog even with the coldness from the snowfall. They continued to zoom their way.

It was weird. There was no movement or action from Team B. Did they wait for something? Was it part of their strategy? But whatever that was, Alejandro and Elisa kept flying. Now they were passing unit 5 with the trees. Alejandro flew so fast and hit two of the trees. Elisa flew at a slower rate but still hit 2 of the trees. Zach just winced his eyes after seeing both of them hit the trees. "It must be painful," Zach mumbled.

Ophelia, after she cast a spell towards Astra, she flew to the next unit. She must pass the swarm of the pigeons. But it was unfortunate of her. The pigeons were triggered by her presence. Most of the pigeons flew towards her and attacked the Ravenclaw. Zach saw it all from his omniocular. "Ew!" he exclaimed. Ophelia was now full of Pigeon's poopies.
