Even tho Tracey had asked if she should have highlights, she wasn't sure if she'd have them, but she decided to add in whatever color Kaitlyn had said for highlights, just to see what her Slytherin friend would think. Kaitlyn had said honey blonde, so she added in that color to her hair and asked,
"How does it look? This is blonde and honey blonde, right? I'm not entirely sure what color honey blonde is. Honestly, I never knew it existed, but now I do,"
Tracey still wasn't sure what their next class was, but if it was a spell casting class, she'd definitely offer help to her muggle friend, since Kaitlyn isn't that good at casting spells, and as a half-blood, Tracey will gladly help her. But it was Transfiguration. Now, Tracey is ok with that class, so she said,
"If you need help, I'll be happy to help, tho I'm ok with that class, I can't guarantee I'll be great help,"
Tracey wasn't sure how much she'd be able to help Kaitlyn, but she really wanted to help her friend with that class, if she needed help. Tracey giggled at Kaitlyn's comment and said,
"Well, if you did, I wouldn't judge you,"
Tracey was about to ask if they should leave, but then she heard a commotion. She turned around and saw another student had just dropped their papers, and while they were picking them up, they had also knocked over a pot. Tracey decided to help since she was Kaitlyn helping. Tracey picked up the papers and handed them to her classmate. She then made sure that the pot didn't break.
"Good thing the pot didn't break. It was only soil that spilled right, nothing else?" Tracey asks making sure.
She saw Kaitlyn helped with the soil, so Tracey didn't help, since it was a tiny pot anyways and three people cleaning up soil is a lot of people making it all crowded.

Eden brushed the soil quickly off their hands, embarrassed, and took back the pages from the two girls. "Thank you...for the help. Yeah, only the soil." They stuffed the remaining pages back into the sketchbook and forced it into their schoolbag before continuing to move soil into the pot. They hoped intensely that neither of the girls had looked at their sketches - most of the ones that had fallen out were older, and not very good in Eden's opinion. They did their best to push the thoughts of the drawings aside, and focus on the task. The dirt felt cool on their hands, and they liked the texture. It reminded Eden of the garden. It felt like home. They inhaled the scent of herbs in the air as they pressed the last of the dirt into the pot.

Once all the dirt had been returned to the pot and the area was clean again, Eden brushed off their hands on their robes. They noticed the dirt on the other girl's hands. "Sorry you got your hands dirty...I shouldn't have made a mess. Er...what was your name again?" They asked, a bit embarrassed not to know. But besides that...they had talked to someone! It felt a bit nice, to talk to someone. They smiled slightly.

Kaitlyn watched as Tracey changed her hair color to what she suggested. She smiled brightly at the sight. It was awesome to watch. “Ooh, that looks good. Yes, blonde and honey blonde,” she nodded. “I think it looks good on you, but that’s up to you if you want to keep it, of course,” she smiled. She wanted to help Tracey, or at least give her more options.

Nodding, Katie giggled to Tracey. “Thanks. I’ll need it. You’ll probably be better than me, anyway. Every little bit will help,” she smiled. She wasn’t good at spell-casting. Transfiguration was even worse. It required her to transform objects or animals. She couldn’t bear to think of the animal changing to something else. She giggled at Tracey’s comment. “Thanks,” she smiled.

After she had run over to help, Kaitlyn was happy to see Tracey come over, as well. She turned to their classmate and smiled. “You’re welcome,” she responded shyly. Surprisingly, she wasn’t stuttering. Probably because of Tracey’s presence and because they seemed just as shy as she did. Regardless, she was happy to help.

Kaitie looked down at her hands, seeing the dirt. She briefly dusted them on her robes, shaking her head. “Don’t worry about it … I wanted to help,” she replied. “I’m Kaitlyn, or Katie, Connor,” she replied. She flushed lightly. “Um, please forgive me for asking. You’re welcome not to answer me, if you wish. I completely understand not wanting to answer. Trust me, I’m also shy. But … um … was that a sketchpad you just put away? I like to draw, too,” she said, shyly, but still rambling on.

Once her hair color had changed to the suggestion she was given, Tracey saw Kaitlyn smile brightly, and this made Tracey have an idea that she has the right hair color. Maybe she'll keep the color, who knows, maybe she'll like it too.
"Yay! I'm glad I got the color right! I'll keep it for now, who knows, maybe I'll like the color. If not, I'll come back and ask you," Tracey says happily.
Now, Tracey doesn't mind turning objects into something else, but the idea of turning an animal into something else scares her, this is why, she doesn't like Transfiguration much as she likes other classes. But, History of Magic is still her least favorite class.
"Heh, that's true. Hopefully, I'll know what I'm doing in that class. Your welcome, Kaite!" Tracey says.
Tracey now returned her attention to her classmate and was glad that the pot didn't break cause then she'd ask if all the pieces were there so then she could cast the Mending Charm to put it back to normal.
"Your very welcome! Like Kaite, I also wanted to help," Tracey says.
She then heard Kaitlyn introduce herself, and Tracey decided to do the same thing too, but before she was going to introduce herself, Kaitlyn asked if that was a sketchpad, so after Kaitlyn finished speaking Tracey said,
"I'm Tracey Bailey, tho I wasn't sure if you were talking to me or Kaite. I also like to draw, tho I'm not that good, but I'm working on my skills!"

"Nice to meet you, Kaitlyn. Tracey." Eden smiled, feeling more at ease now, though still nervous. They glanced at their backpack, debating whether or not to answer honestly to the question. They took a deep breath, and said softly, "Yes, it was my sketchbook...but it's not very good, so I doubt you'd like it very much.." They laughed a little, nervous. "What sorts of things do you draw? I mostly sketch plants and animals, but I do people sometimes.." They were surprised to find themselves opening up in this way. Hesitantly, they pulled their sketchbook out of their schoolbag and set it on the table. They just sort of stared at it, debating whether or not to open it, shifting a bit nervously. What if Kaitlyn and Tracey made fun of their art? it wasn't very good, after all...and they'd never shown it to anyone before...but Eden decided today was a day to try new things. They opened the book to a more recent page, where they had sketched the thyme plant they were growing. "Er...this is that thyme there...and, um..." They flipped to a page with a detailed sketch of their cat from home. "And this is my cat, Basil. He lives back in Lavenham with my mums." They shifted nervously. "Sorry they're bad...I'm still working on them."

Kaitlyn giggled and nervously played with one of her pigtails. She thought it was awesome that Tracey trusted her with her thoughts on Tracey’s hair. She was never likely to change her own hair, personally speaking. But it was cool that Tracey could. “Awesome! Thanks for trusting my judgment,” she giggled.

At Tracey’s words about Transfiguration, Katie gave her an encouraging smile. “Tracey, you’re very smart. If anyone will know, it’s you,” she complimented her friend. She was less confident about herself, however. It seemed to take a lot of extra work for her to do it. Sometimes, she honestly felt demoralized.

Kaitlyn looked at their classmate and titled her head, realizing they didn’t know their name. “What’s your name?” She asked, quietly. She smiled encouragingly to them. “Cool. My recent work has been drawing parts of the castle. But, I have pictures of muggle animals, people, and other muggle things. My pictures of the plants are saved for my homework and my notes,” she responded.

Her smile grew, when they showed a few of their drawings. She looked at the ones shown and gave another encouraging smile. “They look really good, so far. I cannot imagine how much better they’d look, once you’re done,” she complimented them. Turning on her heel, she jogged back to her bag. As she returned over to them, she took out her own sketch pad to show her art. It was only fair, after all. She showed her detailed drawings of the Entrance Hall and the Black Lake. “These took hours for me to make, and they’re not in color yet, either,” she responded.

"Oh, ah, it's Eden," Eden said awkwardly, embarrassed that they hadn't yet introduced themselves. "It's cool that you draw the castle! I haven't gotten started yet, but I've seen a few things I totally want to sketch." They grinned a little bit, then blushed, embarrassed. "Er, I could show you...when I finish them. If you want." They averted their eyes. "Or maybe not. Definitely not. I don't know." They laughed a little, nervously, then turned their attention back to their own sketches.

Eden smiled at Kaitlyn's compliment. "Haha, thank you! I know they're not great, but...I try, y'know?" They looked down at their feet somewhat bashfully. Their eyes widened when they saw Kaitlyn's sketches. "Kaitlyn, those are absolutely brilliant! I can't imagine what they'll look like in color!" they exclaimed, taking in the details of the sketches. The ripples of water in the lake, the light that almost emanated from the torches in the entrance hall. They remained staring intensely at the sketches for a beat too long, after which they laughed nervously and backed away. They shut their sketchbook, bound it with a bit of string, and stuffed it back in their schoolbag. "...well. Anyway. Um. I...I guess I'd better get to my next class...erm...yeah." They slung their bag over their shoulder and stood awkwardly for a moment, not speaking, not moving.

Tracey saw as Kaitlyn giggled and played with one of her ponytails, and Tracey had a feeling Kaitlyn was nervous, but she didn't bring it up. She then heard Kaitlyn speak and Tracey nodded then said,
"Your welcome! I mean, we are friends, why wouldn't I trust your judgement?"
Tracey hopped that she didn't sound rude or anything. She really didn't want to lose her friend. Tracey snapped out of her negative thoughts when she heard Kaitlyn compliment her, which made her smile brightly and she said,
"Thanks Kaite! I guess you are right. I am indeed smart, which is how I got into Ravenclaw, right?"
Once again, Tracey hopped that she didn't sound rude. She kept on wondering this cause sometimes people think that what she says is rude, but she never tries to be rude.
"Wow, that's cool Kaite! My recent drawings are probably of the Great Lake and my cat Tiger. But they aren't that good, but yours are really good," Tracey says.
She wasn't kidding, when their classmate showed them their sketches, Tracey was amazed by their skill, since she didn't have any skill at all.
"Nice to meet you Eden!" Tracey says when Eden introduced themself.
Tracey then looked at Kaitlyn's drawing and her jaw dropped. She was shocked by how detalied it is.
"How are you two so good at drawing?" Tracey asks shocked.
Tracey now felt bad cause her sketchbook was in her dorm and she didn't have enough time to go back and get it.
"What's your next class, Eden? We have Transfiguration," Tracey asks.

As quickly as she had started playing with her pigtail, she slowly moved her hand away. She didn’t want to look too nervous, playing around with different parts of herself. She often found it hard to sit still, as it was. And, she was surprised that Tracey trusted her. “Thanks. Well … um, because I don’t really know much about hair,” she admitted with a shrug. She wasn’t big on experimenting with her own hair. There were only a few styles of hair that she rocked, and none of them were that complicated.

Kaitlyn giggled as Tracey accepted her compliment. “That’s completely true. I’m happy to have such a smart friend,” she responded with a smile. Tracey did sound a little conceited, but that was likely Katie’s fault for even mentioning it in the first place. So, she didn’t say anything. Besides, she didn’t want to risk losing her as a friend. She rather enjoyed Tracey’s company.

Katie smiled brightly at Tracey’s compliments. “Thanks, I try my best on each one of them,” she commented.

Turning to Eden, Katie smiled at them. “It’s nice to meet you, Eden,” she responded. “I like adventuring around the castle to find something new to draw,” she admitted with a shrug. She looked over at Eden, giving them a bright smile. “I’d love to see them when they’re done. I bet they’ll look even more amazing,” she continued. “I think yours look good already,” she continued, trying to raise their self-confidence.

At Eden’s compliments and then Tracey’s, Kaitlyn giggled. “Aw, thanks. And, I’m self-taught. At least, as much as I could. I don’t have all the supplies I wish I had … I also can’t color my drawings well at all,” she admitted. That was why she often didn’t even bother trying.

Katie nodded to Tracey’s comment about their next class being Transfiguration. “Yeah. You’re welcome to walk with us, at least partially to wherever your next class is,” she offered with a bright smile, as she slipped her sketchpad back in her bag.

Silver is just sitting there feeling VERY calm. When I say VERY calm, I mean the about the calmest she has ever been. She was just sitting there, drawing. It's not that normal for her to be calm, but when she's drawing, she stays focused, and quiet so that she doesn't forget what she was just about to draw. She was just sitting there, drawing herself flying on a broom in flying class, and she was flying next to Kaitlyn in the drawing. It seemed pretty realistic so far. While she was drawing, she couldn't hear anything except for her thoughts because she was so focused. Until she paused to think about something, like maybe something is missing. But then she heard a familiar voice.

Silver heard Kaitlyn and looked up. "Hmm? Kaitlyn? Oh, hi." Silver seemed so relaxed, it looked odd. After she said hi, she looked down, and realized what was missing from her drawing, so she went right ahead, and drew it straight in. She saw that in the drawing, she and Kaitlyn were flying around nothing. So she added a background, and it had the castle in the back, the sky at the top, and the ground under them. She had put them on the grounds of their flying class. Where they had first met each other.

In the drawing, Silver was sitting on the broom, one hand on the broom, and the other in the air, and her legs were kicked out. Her mouth was open smiling wide, and her eyes were closed as her head was facing upwards a bit. Now for Kaitlyn, Silver drew her sitting on the broom with both hands on it, she was wobbling a bit, and she was looking at Silver with a bit of a nervous face expression.
