Paige was in the middle of enjoying a picnic with her boyfriend, Kai Ledger, on a beautiful October day, when she couldn't help but notice that someone happened to be staring at her. Or Kai. The girl must have noticed Paige had spotted her as she began to run off back towards the Great Hall, her auburn hair flowing behind her. Kai was too busy finishing off his sandwich to notice that he had a secret admirer however, and Paige wanted it to stay that way. Glancing one last time at the tree the girl had been standing behind, she shuffled closer to Kai and grabbed his hand tightly. He looked up at her with a raised eyebrow, and Paige realised how tightly she was holding his hand. "Sorry," she whispered, quickly grabbing hold of an apple and biting straight to the core.
On their way to class, Paige noticed the same girl walking the opposite way. This time, Kai, too, noticed her gazing at him, and smiled. Paige's eye twitched as she looked at the girl and back at her smily boyfriend. Paige quickly locked hands with him in order to show the girl that he was already taken. It obviously worked, as the girl quickly looked down at her feet and stormed off with her hands held tightly beside her hips. Kai must have sensed Paige's jealousy as he looked at her with a concerned look. Paige sighed and quickly entered the classroom with him, where they took a seat at one of the seats at the back.
"Paige, I sense you're uneasy about something," he said, staring at her directly in the eyes. Paige simply looked the other way and laid her head on her arms. It wasn't easy admitting it, but it was quite obvious that Kai had interest in the girl. Possibly even more than Paige. Afterall, who wouldn't be? This girl was perfect in every way. Her hair was as bright as an orange and her eyes matched a tropical ocean.

Quinn walked down the steps to the great hall when she saw him. "Him" was Kai, the cute boy who Quinn kept noticing. Oh, he's with some other girl. Quinn thought. Quinn ran back to the great hall hoping she hadn't been noticed. Later that day Quinn watched as Kai walked by her. She smiled and waved, And he smiled back. Quinn thought. The girl next to him grabbed his hand. What? He has a girlfriend! Quinn stormed off toward her class.
Quinn walked on the grounds, trying not to kid herself into thinking she still had a chance. The girl is perfect, she hadsbeautiful eyes and lushush hair. Kai would never want her over me. Quinn sighed and turned around. The sound of a girl laughing brought her back. It was the girl again. Quinn looked at her for a few minutes. She danced around the grass and grabbed her boyfriends hand.
Quinn sighed and dreamily thought of Kai dumping the girl and going out with her. Quinn then dreamily walked into the girl who was coming back from talking wiht her boyfriend.
"Oh. Hello" Quinn said resentfully. The girl glared at her.
"I didn't ask for him to smile at me ok." Quinn said guessing why the girl was glaring. Maybe I should turn over a new leaf, be more friendly. Quinn thought. She didn't really like glares directed her way for something she couldn't really change.
"Um... sorry for smiling at your boyfriend, he's just kind of cute. I'm Quinn by the way and I didn't mean to hurt you." Quinn winced after saying it. I really do think Kai is cute and it would be awsome to go out with him but I am not going to tell her that. I'm not dumb. Quinn sighed outloud. Quinn relized that this conversation had brought them to the edge of the forbidden forest and she walked back a little. That forest is creepy. Quinn thought. Quinn turned back to the girl. The girl looked at Quinn for a little as if trying to decide something.

I hope you don't mind that I slightly godmodded your character? Please lmk otherwise."Kind of cute?" That was what the girl said to her. Was it true that her very own boyfriend fancied another girl? Paige's eye twitched in fury. Her head became hot and bothered. It ached. Steam was just so longing to burst out of her ears. She may have exploded if she hadn't realised where her feet had taken her. Paige was now standing right beside her nemesis in the presence of the Forbidden Forest - the one place both students and teachers feared.
Paige thought for a minute or two, she wanted revenge. She turned back around and slid her foot into the forest's soil. She had never built up enough courage to cross into the forest, but she didn't want to look like a chicken in front of this girl. She was probably scared of nothing.
Taking a deep breath in, Paige ventured further into the forest. It only took her a few steps before she turned back to look at the girl, still frozen in her place. "What's wrong?" Paige mocked, "too scared of following your crush's girlfriend?"
The girl didn't answer, her jaw was dropped low to the ground. Paige rolled her eyes. Just then, a twig snapped nearby. Paige didn't want to admit it, but she jumped right out of her robe. She ran back to where the girl was standing and hid behind her before turning around. Laughter came from in front of her. A familiar person stood in front of her now, chuckling away. It was Kai, Paige's so-called boyfriend. The girl, too, started laughing now. Her and Kai high-fived each other and stood beside Paige.
She had never felt so many emotions at once. Looking at the girl and back at Kai, she wiped her eye from under her glasses with her sleeve, and ran far away from the two of them.

Paige felt like she was about to snap. She hated the moment, she wanted to erase all memories of this girl. And Kai. As the girl chased after her, yelling, Paige stopped still in her tracks. She clenched her fists and turned around to face the Ravenclaw. Paige could feel her ribs lifting and then quickly dropping. Her breathing was heavy, it was filled with fury.
Paige pondered what to say next. It could either go two ways - Paige could give the girl a taste of her own medicine, or she could listen to what the arrogant girl had to say.
"I, er, I'm sorry for laughing at you," she announced. "You've ruined every-" Paige stopped. What did she just hear? An apology. That was definitely unexpected. The girls eyes widened. Paige looked down at her feet, hoping the girl hadn't heard what Paige had said. But chances of that happening were very low.
The forest was always creepy. Paige, herself, was surprised she had been able to build up enough courage to actually enter it. Funny how I act differently around certain people. Paige turned back around to face the forest with its eerie trees standing as tall as city buildings. It was extra frightening today.
"Uhm, what's your name?" a voice approached. Paige quickly lifted her head to see that the girl was now standing directly beside her. Paige raised her eyebrow and pursed her lips. Exhaling, she answered.
"Paige, and you?" she narrowed her eyes, still not accepting the apologetic speech.

Paige thought for a bit before shrugging. If she was being completely honest, she didn't know why the forest seemed extra eerie today, it just was. Perhaps it was the thick mist, or maybe the fact that something was definitely lurking in between those trees.
She looked up at the girl, Quinn, who had a sinister smirk forming across her cheeks. Paige frowned, making it obvious that she had noticed. Both the girls must have realised that the wind began to swell twice as much now, almost knocking them off their feet. Paige felt her goosebumps grow, and she crossed her arms to warm herself up. "Did you see that?" Quinn shivered, a concerned look spreading across her face. Paige didn't know what she saw. Out of the corner of her eye, she could have sworn she saw something rush past. Something that looked strangely like a shadow. But Paige couldn't admit it, she didn't know what she saw. After all, she had been known for hallucinating every now and then.
For an October, it was awfully cold. Something wasn't right. Something was definitely off. As the wind began to pick up, she began flicking her eyes throughout the area in attempt to find her boyfriend, Kai. But it was no use. The fog was now heaving out through the forest and the wind pricked at their faces. "M-maybe we should go inside, Kai's probably already there," Paige stuttered, turning sharply to face the terrified girl.

Paige's hairs stood on end, tingling her arms. Whatever she saw rummaging through the trees definitely wasn't something she had seen before. To be honest, she didn't know what it was. It was all a blur.
All of a sudden, as the two Ravenclaw's were trudging through the thick grass, the fog began to build up. Paige could barely see her shoes in front of her. She looked around, weary. No matter how hard she squinted, all she could see was the cloudy mist that surrounded her. Although Paige enjoyed being alone, she didn't like the state of things. Someone whispered her name, but she could barely make out who it was due to the howling of the wind. Perhaps it was the girl. What was her name? Paige thought deep. "Quinn," she whispered, goosebumps building. No response. She yelled louder, and a figure appeared nearby. Suddenly, something gripped at her hand and dragged her a few metres. Paige closed her eyes, too scared to see who was holding on to her.
Paige's breathing became deep, shaking as it went. "Paige, let's get out of here," a familiar voice stuttered. Paige opened her eyes, and relief spread across her face. It was just Quinn.
