2023/24, Stage 1 Ravenclaw vs Slytherin: Match 7

Bea stood shocked for a moment as her prayers were answered once again. Finally fate had delivered the Slytherins on a silver platter. She grinned as her spell hit Pea like thunder peeling across the sky, loud, powerful and deadly. The Slytherin was knocked to the ground hopefully, even though she would come to feel bad later on, battered and bruised. It would make for easy winning. It was a pity were split spell couldn't have landed on Avery too. Leveret was being an absolute pain in the ass, dodging her spells. Why couldn't he just lay over and admit defeat?

Talking of defeat, Zach was now gone. It wasn't unexpected but as Bea watched the poor second year be carried off the piste, she looked to Sam. "It's just you and me now." She raised her wand, pointing it towards the Slytherins again, and smirked. "Last round. We got this!"

It was sad to see Zach go down, but at least the other team lost one of their members as well. On top of that, her spell hit her intended target and Samantha was still feeling okay. The brunette gave the younger student a firm nod to acknowledge it was just the two of them from that point on. "I told you we will be fine. These snakes got nothing on us, they will go down," she replied. She acted like they didn't just lose one of their teammates and the duel had gone extremely smoothly for them the whole time.

And she was right. What happened after Evethisawe was brought to the hospital wing is possibly worse than her occasional nightmares. Three colorful spell was shot at her as she focusing her spell unto Zaphiere yet again. Although her spell hit him square, the spells that came after that came as a jolts. And when those spells came right at her she was somehow unable to move her feet. Then as spell usually does, it hits her like a truck. Pea was struck with knockback jinx strong enough to lose her balance. "Hey!" The white haired whine with pain. "Really??" She continue to protest. "Eugh- whatever! let's just finish this Leveret." The girl said grumpily seemingly still laying on the ground.

The final round and it seemed mainly about survival. Pea couldn't do much from her position on the ground and the injuries sustained put a substantial difference between Ravenclaw and Slytherin. Rather than even cement the difference further, the birds opted instead to help themselves out and ignore their opponents for the time being. Beatrice would remove the pesky storm cloud before it would have a chance at striking down again, although its track record suggested that the lightning strikes would probably just miss again if given the chance.

Samantha would turn her wand towards herself as she cast Reparifors to heal some of those wounds from the fight. Lea suspected the medics might be appreciative of that considering the state of the others. As for the Slytherins, they seemed stuck. Pea couldn't very well cast from the ground, so her last move would be to stand up, still alive against the onslaught of spells just last round. Some wind would push against her, but it wouldn't matter much now. Perhaps the more perplexing part was that Avery did nothing. Perhaps unaware of just how close the end was, he too would stand before the Ravenclaws. While the Ravenclaws had gotten their victory, it had not been due to complete knockout- the Slytherins while younger in years were still to be taken seriously.

"AND TIME!" Lea called out, stepping forth. "RAVENCLAWS WIN!" She would flourish her hands towards the two remaining- Beatrice and Samantha- before offering a nod to both teams. "You both fought well and thank you for the opportunity to moderate your duel. I- would highly suggest you also go to the Hospital Wing to get some rest and check in on your fellow teammates."
