Noa chuckled as Lucie sighed dreamily at the thought of her father's cooking and said something about Christmas, as she could only understand the word "Navidad' as she heard from Mrs. Rodriguez.

"I would really love to try some of those dishes" she answered, "They sound lovely. And as for the date, I figure I can just invite them to Delainie's Christmas Party, less formal so it won't be awkward."

Though the blush that colored her cheeks wouldn't go away, especially when Lucie told her that she was a catch. Still, they made a point about just asking someone else. And the party is a great way to meet new people so, who knows?

As she rummaged through the pouch again, she felt the familiar texture of the parchment. Fishing it out and opening it to read the contents, Noa flinched as she reread the scrapped homework that she made for Potions. It had been her first bad grade; she managed to scrape an E for Astronomy thanks to her friends' help but an A? That grade hung over her head for weeks and it definitely made her feel worse when the broomstick whacked her face during the first flying lesson, earning a snicker from a Gryffindor boy as he easily hovered next to her with ease.

As Lucie finished their Chocolate Frog, Noa fumbled in her pocket and retrieved an unopened pack of ice mice. Gingerely popping the treat into her mouth, she sighed as she stared at the parchment.

"So... how are you both doing with your classes? Charm and Defense Against the Dark Arts are the subjects I enjoy the most, even History of Magic. However, I fear that some of the lessons in Potions had me in a tizzy. Imagine, three different kinds of dittany and we had to figure out which one has volatile properties" she recounted. That particular question was the one that stumped her.

I giggle as Lucie talks about their date. “ your date sounds wonderful lucie they are very lucky to be going with you even though your a bit crazy at times!” I say smiling at lucie.

I then giggle again as lucie runs full speed towards the tree I start laughing uncontrollably as she says have a photo shoot and now starts taking photos of her.

I smile as i remember what lucie mentioned about us and who were going with to the ball. “I’m going with esme xiao shes really nice and pretty and cute and-“ I cut myself off before I gush to much about them and giggle nervously as I blush furiously.

Luckily before I can embarrass myself any further noa starts talking about her date who she hasn’t asked yet. “I completely agree with lucie also if he rejects you eh doesn’t deserve you! And he’s an idiot anyone would be lucky to have you noa!”

I nod along as I listen to luice speaking about christmas. “Your father’s cooking sounds wonderful! Sería muy divertido, Lucie!”

“My classes are going well! I really enjoy astronomy but that’s to no surprise of no one” I say with a giggle.

Translation: that would be so much fun lucie!

Another blush of embarrassment colored Noa's cheeks as Ali agreed with Lucie's words. "Oh no it's not like that" she cajoled, "He doesn't know I was planning to ask him. If anything I'm quite cowardly in that regard" she squeaked.

She didn't think about things as romance, even an innocent peck on the lips between her parents would make her blush and shield her eyes. Maybe it all started when Carmina Rodriguez and Freya Dulik mercilessly teased her that she would end up with Felix Lemieux during her eighth birthday party. All because she knew that her godmother (Aunt Blanche) had forced him to give her birthday present personally instead of leaving it on the table in front of everyone.

Shaking her head, she chewed on the sweet in her mouth and slowly exhaled through her slightly parted lips, letting the cold air breathe out.

"Oh Merlin, I think I'm going to lose my mind with our classes" she lamented, "Fridays are the worst. Double Potions, then Herbology... then going up to the Astronomy Tower at bloody midnight! Can't they just enchant a room to have it look like the night sky or something?" she ranted before she caught herself.

Feeling frazzled, she tugged at the hem of her jumper and patted her hair flat with an awkward hand, "Oh-um, I mean- the schedule will disrupt our sleep schedule so adults expecting us to have free time for seven hours and just come back to class sounded so illogical."

She quickly tried to switch the subject in hopes that they would forget her outburst, "Have you tried out for clubs? I signed up for the Slytherin Duelling Team and got in! Well, not entirely I'm afraid, as I'm on the waiting list but I hope I can learn more strategies from others as time goes on!"

OOC: Those are nice trivias! Noa's father is Irish while her mum was born in Snaresbrook but her grandparents immigrated from Germany and her great-grandmother was French, making Noa half-Irish, with some German and little French blood.
