In depth description of appearance (pictures welcome): Jay is a thin and tall boy with a good amount of muscle. He has tanned skin, with a few scars scattered around is body from accidents in sports. The most noticeable is a scar on the bridge of his nose, which is lighter than the skin around it. He has dark brown hair, which pairs well with his same coloured eyes. His hair is usually messy, going every which way with no uniform style.

Likes: Exploration. Discovery. Mystery. Art. Puzzles. Autumn. Birds (eagle animagus bias). Tarantulas. Duelling, magical or fencing. Grey, the color of storms and stone.
Personality: as an OC Peri was originally an eldritch warlock that summoned horrific monsters through mirrors. I tried to keep that vibe in HiO, in the sense that he's kind and gentle, but with a draw towards forbidden knowledge or "dark art" magics. He's often lost in thought and speaks in a sleepy, distracted sort of way. The only thing stopping him from going full mad scientist is his empathy for others. He tries to satisfy his curiosity with ethical experimentation and loads of reading
Hobbies: has an arachnid collection. fencing, falconry, horse riding, swimming, ice skating, reading and writing, survivalism
Other details you may want: I'm thinking a map, a red thread board, or some kind of diagram. Maybe a tarantula or spiderwebs, chess pieces, ornate mirror, a wand or crossed wands, potion materials, rapier or sword, maybe an eagle feather or quill. those are all just suggestions though! It would be rad to throw an octopus or tentacle(s) in there somewhere if possible, that's his future patronus. I'm looking for a mix of dark academia and traveler vibes with a dash of spookiness

Personality: Very perfectionistic. She loves learning and wants to understand everything in the world. She's quite creative, and tries not to judge people based on their appearances. Weirdly enough, though she is very very introverted, she's alright at telling people's emotions. Mahlioz is also absolutely terrified of heights and doesn't last more than a couple seconds on a broom, and she is rather a scaredy cat. And she is a strict rule-follower, as Qrow has found out on many occasions

Lottie has soft, pale features, with plush lips and smooth skin. She makes a point of caring for her appearance, with a lengthy skincare routine and an even longer hair routine. She has short, brown, wispy hair that she curls slightly at the ends, and piecey bangs. Her eyes are a notable shade of green, and she has dark, angular eyebrows. (Taken from ency)

She is typically seen wearing warm, pressed clothes, like sweaters, long pants, and lots of corduroy. Her palette mostly consists of reds, browns, and grays, but occasionally she’ll throw in some green and blue if they’re the right shade. She makes a point of caring about how she presents herself, even in the safety of her own dormitory. From the length of her pants to the color of her buttons, she puts fastidious care into ensuring that she is making a good name for her family. And, of course, she doesn’t mind looking fashionable. Pose + expression: Serious, distracted expression, kind of dreamy and far-off. Holding onto a book, but not reading it. Changes from picture are shorter hair (as seen in second face claim image), obviously a different face, no headphones, and instead of a phone it's a book. Also a different outfit, as pictured above.
