Background Story: <----------------------------------------------------------> Reducio Before Hogwarts, she lived with her parents and four older siblings, all of whom have gone to Hogwarts. Her father is a wizard, but her mother is a muggle. Her parents are very kind and loving, but she often feels like she isn't noticed among her older siblings. Her brothers and sisters are sometimes cruel to her and make fun of her for her quiet and dreamy nature. She didn't have many friends, other than her next-door neighbor who was a girl like her. They liked to write stories together. Willow went to a muggle public school until she went to Hogwarts. She did very well in school.

First Instance of Magic: <----------------------------------------------> Reducio When Willow was seven, she and her siblings were playing in their backyard. She was being made fun of by her older sister and she got so upset that she accidentally made her sister's fingernails grow to the size of talons. Her parents were extremely excited that she was demonstrating magic. Her older sister hated her even more after that.

Personality:
Dreamy, creative, gentle, quiet, kind, empathetic, intelligent and patient, deep-in-thought, in-the-feels, what is the meaning of life energy- not a shallow bone in her body. Hippie at heart, peace-and-love vibes, tree hugger, no basic people allowed.

Willow is a very nice and calm soul. She doesn't like conflict and is usually found reading or writing by herself in the common room or the library. She is an introvert who likes being alone and is quite shy. However, she does love being in the company of a good friend or two who will talk to her about books or music. She is not very good at making friends and is uncomfortable around strangers, but once she warms you to you her creative, kind, and slightly wierd side comes out, allowing her to shine as an introspective and innovative person. Wants to be an author and poet when she grows up.

Gentle and unimposing, Willow’s presence is very much like a quiet stream: soothing and balmy to the world-weary. Top notes of hazy French lavender (yes, that was a Taylor Swift reference) encapsulates Willow’s dreamy, introspective side best, balanced with a touch of earthiness to provide the grounding she finds in nature. These subtle piney notes unique to French lavender gradually give way to the crisp wetness of petrichor: a scent known to mimic the smell of earth after rainfall. Complex and sweetly musky, petrichor further illustrates the rich depths of her mind and imagination. She certainly seems like the sort who’d find a great deal of solace and joy in a volume of Emily Dickinson’s poetry! The bright and grassy lemon verbena dry down hints at a more sociable side to our introverted queen–one that can be fully unmasked to those who take the time to truly know her.

IMPORTANT NOTE: I absolutely love the community here, but one can never be too safe- so while I interact ooc often in owls or the let's chat, I will never go too in detail about my personal life simply because I am more comfortable that way. I will always follow the rules of the site and with my character's personality, I prefer for her to follow all school rules that she can. Finally, in regards to romance, I am uncomfortable writing any intense romance scenes and will keep any romance to simply butterflies and hugs- nothing major, it will just be for kicks and giggles! Our characters are children, after all. This policy may change much later in Willow's life, but for the first multiple years, the romance will be subtle or nonexistent.
