Victoire Danell
|
Personality: Victoire doesn't tolerate practically anyone.
She is a girl who is not easy to connect with, her life has never been easy and that has led her to distrust people.
She finds it difficult to open up to other people and to relate to them.
History: Victoire was born in the United States, her life was largely a bit chaotic, picked on by her peers at school and it took a lot out of her.
She lived in New York until the age of 8 when her parents decided to move to Carmel-by-the-Sea in California.
There everything was better and Victoire adapted better.
It was a big change, moving to a small town after living in New York, but they were treated very well there.
Victoire made a friend, Duvessa. Unfortunately she was a muggle, but the two girls had a great time together, she was Victoire's first friend and the first one to whom she opened her heart.
When Victoire found out that she was going to Ilvermorny, she had to lie to her and tell her that she was going to boarding school, it hurt her a lot but she knew it was the best thing for both of them.
Victoire's first magic act was in New York when she was 8 years old.
She was being bullied by kids at her school who were older than her.
They forced her to give them her lunch or else they would beat her up. Victoire was getting more and more scared, she didn't know what to do, she didn't want to give in but she was afraid.
Suddenly there was a small explosion, a rubbish bin had exploded causing all the rubbish to fall on the boys who were threatening her. They ran away.
A few months later her parents decided to move out,

Being looked down upon by the people around her in general, Victoire had become a perfectionist.
She had always felt safe in the realm of magic, in fact it was the only realm in which people respected her.
That's why before she met Duvessa, all she wanted to do was go to Invermorny.
She believed that things would be different there, that she would fit in with the others, that she would be a normal girl.
But in the first classes she realised that it wouldn't be like that.
She was very good at casting spells, much better than her classmates.
She had to concentrate but she didn't get nervous and she started to sweat, inside she knew that she had something that the others didn't have and that's why she felt calm.
As time went on, Victorie noticed that her classmates were giving her dirty looks, calling her the teacher's plug and giving her mocking smiles.
When that happened, Victorie felt very, very unhappy inside, but she kept her head up.
She wasn't going to let them get away with it; if they wanted to annoy her, they wouldn't succeed.
And so time went on, and things stayed the same.
But Vi didn't feel like continuing the course, she had thought that there, in a school of magic, in her own country, she would be fine.
And instead of doing well, people hated her and made fun of her because she was good at one thing.
One day in her common room, she overheard some students talking about the dueling club, Victoire curiously stood up and pretended to be picking up her books.
She discovered that there was a dueling club and felt lucky, she was good at spells, maybe she had finally found her place.
After that, she locked herself in empty rooms for long hours and tried out all the spells she had learned and sometimes tried even more advanced ones.
The spells didn't always work, but Vi was not discouraged, she knew she had the potential to succeed.
When her parents sent her letters, she always answered them as if she had a lot of friends, it disgusted her but she didn't want to cause her parents disappointment, they weren't to blame for Victorie being a nerd, several tears fell on the letters, she was having a bad time, and she had no one, just a stupid crush on spells and an incredible talent for casting them.
