My area is a little... iffy when it comes to going out for walks alone... there have been minor incidents... scary. So I don't go out alone often. It's like bad people are drawn to me for some reason...
But yeah I feel a bit better today so that's always good!

Yeah, well we do live right across from an apartment complex which is the worst place to be...
Some annoying stuff that happens...
1) people randomly drive into our driveway and park there for hours. We come out and ask 'what are you doing, do you need something?' and they go oh no we're just sitting here bc we're waiting for someone or something and we're like 'can you not park in our driveway and just sit there? That's rude and kinda of scary. and then they pull out.
2) people from across apt complex order things and use OUR address since the place wont ship to apt complexes. the packages come onto our doorstep and husband's mother (since we're taking care of her for now) takes it in bc she thinks it's ours. then the people across in the apt complex come and ask for their packages and we're like STOP GIVING OUT OUR ADDRESS TO GET YOUR SHIT!
one time during covid they did that and it was food. husband's mom opened it bc she thought it was ours and we were sick at the time. the person who ordered it asked for it found out we were sick and was like oh nm u can have. but it's like WHY DO YOU USE OUR ADDRESS WITHOUT TELLING US?!

Please verify this part but this was what I looked up: Do not open any part of it, including the packing slip. Then you can write REFUSED on it and it will be returned. If you open any part of it, then it becomes a new package and shipping must be paid again.
Once they fail to get a few packages because they were returned, they would either stop or be pretty grumpy. I would also leave a sign on my door waring people that is what you guys will do. At that point, it is a use our address at your own risk.
