Both teams had chosen their target, no more fancy spell splitting or complex strategy as the answer was simple- hit with as much damage as possible. Beatrice and Zach struck in synchronous with their Knockback Jinxes, pinning Christopher between the two blows with no visible escape seen through his half vision. His focus was on a retaliation blow instead, opting to bring one of them down with him if he couldn't escape their spells. Fire was the answer, an easy repetition from the last round as the visualization and movement would already be at the forefront of his mind. His blow against Zach would also strike true, the fire burning at his arm and sapping any last energy.

Vladislav would get his own spell in before the pause was called, intention clear to make sure Zach would truly be out of the running, but his focus seemed lost on finally being able to see the world again that the spell backfired, bright orange embers as the spell jumped towards the guest instead- luckily it wouldn't catch fire but the initial blow would still hurt. And to add to the blow, the lightning struck once more, finally finding a target out of Vladislav as it electrocuted him before returning the sparks back into the cloud.

Both Zach and Christopher fell, one on fire and the other flung back. The game paused to get both the care they needed by transferring them to the Hospital Wing before play continued with 2 Ravenclaws and 1 Guest, although closer to a 1v1 as 1 Ravenclaw continued remaining still with no spells headed towards or away from them.

Another one gone, he noted as a quiet but pensive look came to Vladislav. Sure, it wasn’t great nor wonderful that he had to witness such a crime, but if he could somehow single-handedly defeat the two countering him, he’d die a happy man.

But how? How would be his best question.

Action: Owled

Bea watched with a rush as Christopher went down. Only one to go! This was brilliant! A small squeal of joy erupted from her lips, and she turned to congratulate Zach and Oliver. Although Oliver was off with the fairies, Zach had produced a magnificent flipendo. Except it wasn't going to be fairy tales and laughter. As she turned, she noticed Zach down on the ground. Probably due to Christophers own spell that she thought had been dodged. She'd been too focused on her own spell work to fully notice the others. A sense of heartbreak and sadness overcame the third year. Poor Zach. It would be alright though. They would win and still come out victorious. And anyway, he was still here in spirit - his raincloud was pinging the other team left, right and centre!

The time dwindled as did the duellists with only two left participating against one another. Now wasn't the time to try something new, but continue the tried tactics from previous round and set everything ablaze. It's what both Beatrice and Vladislav would do as they pointed their wands towards the other. Despite it being a close call, the Ravenclaw knew now wasn't a time to be distracted as she successfully cast the Fire-Making Spell II at the guest. She was unused to Vladislav new sight and thus better dodging capabilities as he deftly maneuvered out of the way, feeling the heat of the spell as it rushed past.

Vladislav could use the moment of surprise and Beatrice's divided attention to get his own Incendio out and directly at the Ravenclaw. Despite her best attempts, the spell hit her squarely and burst forth into a ball of flame before dying out without catching anything aflame. Oliver continued his distanced gaze, very far off into some other world. Not even the raincloud that rumbled overhead would pull him back. Electricity sparked behind puffy gray mist but it wouldn't strike this time around. Perhaps it was satisfied with the knock outs from the previous round, not yet furthering the destruction.

Consider the American-Russian to be a ninja, displaying his wonderous power of dodging. He was a bloody ninja! Oh wow! He didn't think of himself that way! No, it didn't mean he was a literal martial artist expert, but rather again excellent at dodging.

He had to laugh though, at how his fire spell hit the girl. Maybe he was being cruel, but at this point, did it matter?

Oliver regained his focus again, he had done it again! He had been so transfixed on the battle around him, he forgot he was part or it. Spells wizzed passed him, he was snapped back when an incendio was cast against his own teammate. He has to get his head back in the game, this wasn’t the first time he had told himself this. If he didn’t focus, it could might just cost Ravenclaw the game, he didn’t want that on his shoulders. He decided what he would do next.

The statue broke, Oliver returning back to his place on the dueling block- the realization that he had a wand and was a part of this fight dawning on the boy. Vladislav was out of luck in that regard, forced to switch his attention between two targets even as they both aimed at him.

It was Vladislav who acted first, choosing the same target as previous rounds perhaps in the hopes that the injuries would grow to be too much. All he focused on was power, opting for the Knockback Jinx and firing it towards the girl with clean aim. Beatrice was prepared though, likely not wanting to be on the wrong end of his spells again, deftly moving out of the way and leaving the spell flying into where she once was. Oliver, not distracted by dodging, would cast next with his wand outstretched towards Vladislav. Unlike the others, his focus turned more on debuffs and a bit of a show with the Dancing-Feet Spell. The spell cast itself was clean but he wouldn't quite shake off his daze when the spell shot forth and past the nimble guest. Finally, Beatrice would get her chance with the tried-and-true strategy of fire, although rather similarly to last round the casting and aiming seemed sluggish. Despite that, Vladislav would just barely move out of the way in time. Perhaps slow movements led to more surprise in dueling?

The cloud still rumbled overhead but nothing came of it as the time ticked down and the 3 duelists remained standing.
