Alexander Valentine Mason was born a very healthy baby boy, on February 14th, earning him his middle name. His parents are two muggles that live in London, where he was raised. They raised him on what they loved, his mother Scarlet, loved all the ‘nerdy things’ where he got his love of comics, and superheroes. His father Henry, is where he got his music taste. He grew up normal, going to muggle school. Were he excelled in history and music. He did have a few bullies, that thought his interests were dumb and nerdy. Alex did his best to ignore them, and it worked well until his first instance showed. After that all happened, when he went home that day and told his parents what happened. They brought him out of school to homeschool him. So that he would not have to deal with them any more. He really appreciated this, and it was much better then the school he was doing. Not many more major things happened in his life, when he was ten he got a baby sister, that his parents named Julia after his Dad’s grandma. Alex loves his sister, and cares for her a lot. Then when he turned eleven things took a major turn in his life. A person claiming to be a wizard showed up on the Mason doorstep, they also claimed that Alex was one two. They said all these things, and mentioned how Alex was welcome to study magic at a school called Hogwarts. Where as his parents saw disbelief Alex saw wonder, and amazement. The stuff he only dreamed of was real. After quite a bit of convincing the Hogwarts professor let them know where to get his things for school, and what to do to get him there. He was going to be a real superhero. His parents still did not fully believe, it all changed when they all first got to diagon alley, then they truly had to accept that there son was going to be a wizard.

Both of Alex’s parents were born and raised in London. They grew up on the same street. As rivals at first, Scarlet thought that Henry was a little weird for liking the music he did, and Henry thought Scarlet to be a nerd for liking comics and superheroes. As they grew up they realized how silly they were as children, and Henry developed a crush on Scarlet in their teen years. They were growing closer, Hen showed Scarlet song’s from his favorite bands, and Scarlet showed him some comics that he grew to like some of the heroes, And Scarlet even started to like the music he was showing her. Scarlet started to get feelings for Hen too. They stayed friends for a while, and even after school still just friends. They only started to date two years later, and got married four years after dating. Scarlet got pregnant with Alexander in there first year of marriage. Giving him a great life, as Scarlet works as a police officer, and Henry is the owner of a small business selling various stickers, pins, toat bags, etc. With prints that he makes himself.

Scarlets parents were never the biggest fan of Hen. With his ‘vulger and aggressive music’ in there words. They are always telling Scarlet that she can do better and marry a nice man with a ‘real job’ someone who is a lawyer or doctor. In there words. Scarlet keeps telling them that he has a real job, and that he gets a very steady income, she told them that she was in love with him and saying with him. They are trying there best to be there for their grandkids, even if they aren’t fond of their father.

His first showing of magic happened when he was eight years old, He remembers it like it was yesterday. He was reading a comic in class as he normally did when he had free time. This one was one of his favorites it was Ms. Marvel, she was one of his favorite heroes. One of his bullies came up to him and tried to take the book forcefully out of his hands. Naturally Alex didn’t let go. The bullies' exact words were ‘I only want to look at it.’ Then it happened. The bully tried again to take it away from Alex, and the book ripped in two. Alex was filled with anger and rage, having tears in his eyes immediately. He was so mad, and the curtain on the wall lit on fire. Needless to say school went out early that day, no one really knew the cause of the fire. Although this was Alex's first instance of magic.

Alex has short-ish messy black hair that won't stay down no matter how much he tries, it has some curls to it. And he wants to grow it out longer. His eyes are a very bright blue. Compared to sapphires by his friends and family. He is at average height for his age, at 4 '8. Growing at a steady pace every year. He dresses in jeans and graphic t-shirts off of his favorite bands/games/movies etc. He frequently wears silver jewelry, in his ear piercings, or as necklaces and some of his many rings.

Alexander is a massive nerd, loving all things superhero, video games, and movies. When they overlap he is very happy. He loves reading comic books, in the form of trade paperbacks. He likes how they give him more of a story then the single issues. He may not look it but his favorite kind of music is rock, liking Five Finger Death Punch, My Chemical Romance, and Theory of a Deadman the most. But he loves other bands too. He is rather shy at first when meeting new people, or when he’s in a new place for the first time. He just needs time to warm up first. When he does warm up he is loud, and talks about the things he likes almost constantly. He is nice and kind, and will help someone if they need it, trying to be a superhero in real life. Even if he can't fly like Superman or cling to walls like Spider-Man, he can do acts of kindness.
