Estelle was excited for the day's events, but also tired from the previous day. The sorting was amazing and she loved meeting her new roommates, but it was also quite tiring and Estelle felt that she may have missed some sleep. Never mind. She had a whole week to catch up on it, although she also couldn't wait for school to start. She was feeling positive, now that she was back at school. She refused to think of what happened at the beginning of the holidays, banishing it to the back of her mind. She was determined not to let anything or anyone damage the good mood she was in. Estelle came down to breakfast. She adored the school food and even now, a year on, the magic that allowed it to appear still amazed her. She loved Hogwarts, what with its magical food, secret passages and occasional unpredictable chaos. She knew she had friends who would stick buy her no matter what. Hopefully... Estelle inwardly kicked herself. She trusted her friends. She knew she did. So what if one person turned out not to be a true friend. He was only one friend, even if he was her only friend for most of her childhood. She didn't need him. She was happy here. He could go live in his non-magical school, with his lying friend and... Estelle took a deep breath. It was his loss. Instead of dwelling on it, Es opened her book. It was an awesome fantasy novel, full of adventure and mayhem. She lost herself in it, only pausing when her watch began to beep. That was right! She was going to give a new student a tour of the castle. Estelle put her book in her bag and walked out of the Great Hall and into the Small Hall, ready to meet the student she was determined to befriend.
