Hehe, Opeila's grandmother loved unusual names. Her mum's name was Fioria, who continued this by calling her daughters Maybell and Opeila. Should Opeila ever have a daughter, she'd probably call her Merisee. Funny enough I used to play a star wars character with that name. As Opeila also started as a star wars character, the circle would close XD

I have a requirement for each character I play, their name must start with an A.

Weird names, let's go! Merisee is such a cute name, is Merisee canonically OG Opeilas daughter? Or is the name just a full circle coincidence? Also I had no idea Pei had Star Wars origins, but I'm totally tickled by that little factoid, I never knew you were into the Star Wars scene!

Funnily enough, Xail came from a fandom setting too! She was originally my Lord of the Rings Online (if any of you played and were on the Windfolia server before it was moved, or Crickhollow, you may have seen her ) character from back in like... 2010 and she evolved from there. Tolkien elf to Eldritch entity/cryptid was a wild jump.

I don't know why, but I always thought Opeila was a Hunger Games OC of yours.

Opeila has been through a lot of fandoms XD I also played her in the Hunger Games, I am OOC obsessed with that fandom, but she started as an assassin in a Star Wars RP. Merisee is not OG Opeila's daughter, this is a full coincidence XD

I feel you, I've thrown Xail through so many fandoms too, I call her my Canary because she's always what I default to if I'm testing out a fandom or a community. That makes sense! I think I saw you talking about Opelia in a HG setting once, so that was probably why I thought she came from there. How different would you say present day Opelia is from her other variants? Does she vary a lot, or is there usually something that connects them all?

That's surprising! I would have taken you for a Tolkien fan, but that is understandable! LotR isn't for everyone, and the online game is certainly very niche.

Plans in terms of baby names? Xail is "canonically" supposed to have a little girl name Newt (although she's never really come into play ever, she's kind of just a brain baby and a concept that I've always been fond of, I've been waiting for the right chance to introduce her as a result). Since Xailah's name has virtually no meaning, she would want her child to have a name that means something, hence "Newt"... which was derived from salamanders, which are actually Xailah's favorite animal because of their adaptive qualities. The name also has a great amount of significance in Xailah's canon story (off site) because Newt is supposed to be the start of a new beginning for Xailah's species.

OOCly Newt is also pays homage to the Alien franchise, since I'm a glutton for it and references to other media. And the name itself is just cute in my opinion.

Opeila has changed very much since I first created her... when I was OOC 12 years old. The hio one is by far my best version of her, I think she has never had this much depth before.
