The Art of (Prank) War
One day Cassi was bored and decided 'Hey, I'm going to prank people' and got to planning. The first prank was a harmless spell to give people a pig's tail if they touch certain books in the library (An older year casted the spell for them) and it was very hilarious to see. Since no one was severely hurt, Cassi decided to pull a few more pranks and accidentally started a prank war including every house and almost all of the years.
Cassi remembers walking to their Spanish lesson with Amaris covered in water from an unknown student casting 'aguamenti', Cassi retaliated by throwing a dungbomb. And throughout the day Cassi has dodged probably 10 pranks, the students are very persistent and very sneaky, they didn't see half of those pranks coming.
Now Cassi is hiding out in an unused classroom, listening for footsteps, in case they have to hide behind the teacher's desk. Obviously waiting for someone to come in so they can pull a prank, it's pretty funny. Cassi heard faint footsteps that are becoming more and more audible until they stop right in front of the door, Cassi hides behind the teacher's desk until the person or persons open the door.
Finally they opened it and were doused in ice water that has water balloons in it, Cassi couldn't help but come from under the desk and laugh and wheeze at the state of the person. "That.....Was......Bloody.....Hilarious!" Cassi was able to wheeze out before being subjected to a prank themself.

Astra was in an adventurous mood. She was exploring the castle during her free time, stepping into a seemingly abandoned classroom. Another Slytherin who she didn't recognized was right behind her, but Astra didn't say anything. After all, why would she question another's behavior while hers was so suspicious?
As soon as she opened the door to this classroom, however, she found herself soaked in freezing cold liquid. Gasping in surprise, her fight instinct took over and she brandished her wand, furiously glaring around the room for anything suspicious.
In the far corner, from under a teacher's desk, loud and boisterous laughter rand across the room. As Astra reached into her pocket for the dung bomb Aunt Aces had sent her, a curly head popped up. The mess of hair was attached to a red face, on which was a laughing mouth. The person wheezed as she saw the state of Astra. "That... Was... Bloody... Hilarious!" she, or, well, Astra thought she was a she, gasped.
Astra scowled and chucked the dung bomb at the menace as hard as she could. Astra was strong for her size from her childhood experiences, between her far older cousins, her brother, and her pastime of troublemaking (and running from the consequences). The dung bomb hit the light-haired person with a grand explosion.
"What the absolute hell?" Astra yells, her glare fixed on the coughing and gagging prankster in front of her. "Now, I'm not one to shame someone for a good prank, but there are severe consequences for pouring ice cold water on someone's head!" She takes a deep breath, her eyes widening as she realized what she did. "Oh my gosh. Ohhhh my gosh. I'm so sorry, I really overreacted." I can't believe I almost cussed out a stranger! Astra walks over to the person, ignoring the cloud of stink around her, or, well them. "It's just I really hate being cold and wet at the same time." Astra offers a small apologetic smile. "Brilliant prank, though. If you can forgive me for lashing out, maybe we could join forces. I tend to be a mischief maker myself." She sticks out her hand. " I'm Astra Norrick, Slytherin. Also very sorry, again."

"I'm Astra Norrick, Slytherin. Also very sorry, again." The stranger who pranked Cassi in retaliation introduced herself after cussing Cassi out, which they found strangely amusing. "Nice to meet you Astra, I'm Cassiopeia, non-binary Slytherin, call me Cassi. We have Astronomy together actually, but what was that about joining forces? I don't think Sylvia likes pranks very much and my other friends have been busy."
Cassi could use a confidant or a partner in crime or two, lord knows most of their future pranks won't be possible without help and Astra seems strong enough to hold a tub of fake spiders and cobwebs, but who would hold the banner because Cassi will be holding the slime.
"I could use help and I think the older year who has been helping me is getting suspicious. Well he is my brother after all." For good reason but he shouldn't be so suspicious of his favorite little sister, well his only little sister but still.

Cassi seems nice enough, very energetic. To Astra's relief, they don't seem offended by her outburst earlier. In fact, it almost seems like they found it funny. Odd, but at least they aren't mad. "Oh, I'll gladly join forces with you," Astra says with a nod as Cassi explains their predicament. "Honestly, I've been trying to find someone to prank with since I got here. Discreetly, mind you, and it's been quite the chore."
Astra doesn't exactly recognize the other first year, but they seem to know her a little. I've never noticed them in Astronomy... but I never noticed anyone in Astronomy, to be fair. Don't we have... Potions, I think? Yeah, I think that's where I know them from. Astra has to look up in order to meet their gaze even from a distance. Godric, I hate it when people are so much taller than me. The stink from the dungbomb is tolerable now, but Astra won't be moving any closer regardless. She would rather not have a crik in her neck today.
"Let's strike an alliance, shall we?" Astra says, tapping her wand with a finger. "A pranking alliance. We could win any prank war. I can tell you've got experience. You probably have a sight more than me, especially if you've got an older year helping you. I couldn't persuade any, and I've got one related to me."
Astra watches Cassi's face, trying to read their reaction. If they say yes, we'll be unstoppable. I've got a good feeling about this one. "Whaddya say? Partners in crime?"

Hmm...An alliance would be great. Then Cassi would be able to get away with many many pranks, especially woth a partner in crime. "Okay, I accept your request for an alliance. I'd shake your hand but I'm covered in dung, this is going to be very fun." Cassi says grinning maniacally. Cassi can't possibly deny a chance to have a partner in crime especially Astra, she looks innocent and like she'd never pull a prank on someone, that alone makes her alright in Cassi's book.
"We'll be like the Weasley Twins, except we're not twins and you can never be exactly like the originals. You get what I'm saying right? We should prbaly come up with code names!" Cassi would be lying if they said that they aren't genuinely excited to have a partner in crime, they wouldn't call their brother a partner in crime since Cassi practically has to blackmail/beg him for help.
Maybe Cassi and Astra could mess with him together, probably steal all of his hair products, there are really endless possibilities at this point. Astra is going to be like the Remus Lupin to their Sirius Black, the mischievous friend but voice of reason when Cassi is about to do something crazy.

Astra smiled at Cassi's comparison to the Weasley twins. Fred and George were some of her personal heroes. "Fantastic! Yeah, sorry about the dung bomb," she said sheepishly. Excitement laced her voice. "Actually, my aunt was in the same year as the Weasley twins! She says they pranked together on occasion, but she also tends to tell tall tales."
Astra liked the code names idea. "Like the Marauders? Ok!" She liked Cassi, and it was plain to see they liked her just as much. This alliance was going to be a great friendship, she thought. Yes, Astra got a very good feeling from this. I guess we didn't start out in the wrong foot after all, she thought. I'm actually kinda glad it happened the way it did... though Mum would skin me alive.
"What if we became like a second Marauders? That would be amazing!" Astra said, clutching her wand in both hands. Her rational mind kicked in and remembered that Cassi was still covered in stench. "Oh, we should probably... I wish I knew a cleaning spell... Um, do you want to walk and talk so you can get a shower?" Hm, it is a long walk to the dungeons, though. Wouldn't that be kind of embarrassing for them? "Or we could just stay in here a bit longer until it wears off more."
