Homework V.S The Snippy Werewolf
Marietta flopped when she reached the top of the stairs. Though she wasn't nearly as winded as the more athletically challenged students when they reached the top, it had still been a bit of a trial to get there. Plus, who doesn't like flopping onto the ground dramatically? She then scooped herself up and walked to a pile of pillows.
Dropping back down Marietta would pull out her homework she'd been struggling with, her bag of cookies and brownies, a quill, an ink pot, and her text book. It was slow going, Marietta would either tap her foot or finger always having to be moving. Her eyes seemed to want to be every where but on the book. Despite all this though she kept powering through, re-reading many parts since her eyes had the nasty habit of skipping over important words.
Halfway through she decided to take a break. The ceiling was fun to look at as well as the room in general. She'd even go as far to say this was her favorite room, the cold, the cushions, the ceiling, it all had that mystic effect you'd expect from a school that taught magic. Part of her even hoped the teacher wouldn't show up so she wouldn't have to deal with...all that.
Marietta decided to give herself an extension of her break. Popping a cookie into her mouth she'd go back to staring blank faced at the ceiling.

Lucian was bored and decided that a nice stroll. He looked up at the Astronomy Tower and decided to have a look. His main and only memories of this tower was when they had agreed to do that prank! Lucian growled softly to himself as he thought about some people there. He needed to get over it! Sure, they never actually did anything about their plan, but it was a prank that Lucian was looking forward to.
Lucian sighed and decided to climb the steps, nostalgia hitting him from every direction. He thought more about that night than his many astronomy lessons, gosh the bore! He would much rather lay on the roof and gaze at the stars. He doesn’t want to talk about what stars are what, where they are, what planet does what. He most certainly doesn’t want to learn about the pissing moon! That rock has caused so much trouble for him in his 3 years being a wolf.
Once he got up there, he froze; a girl was there. She was laying down and had a bag. She had ink pots out and the sort, cookies n all. Suddenly she moved and it seemed like she was having a break from whatever she was doing. She hadn’t notice Lucian yet.
"Uh. Hello?" Lucian greeted nervously, playing with his hands behind his back. "What you doing?" he asked. He walked over to her and snatched a cookie. What, he was hungry.

Marietta would jump, spooked out of her reverie. "Oh, hello!" She'd say giving the boy a bright smile. Hopefully he hadn't been there to long, she knew what it was like to feel ignored and would hate to cause somebody else that pain. "I'm working on astronomy homework. I'm not particularly good at it, well I'm not particularly good at anything, but astronomy gives me an extra hard time. I find the 'what planet will show up when' and 'this constellation is called this' a tad-" She'd hesitate she didn't know this person... What if he really liked Astronomy and by calling it boring she'd insult him. No, she couldn't risk that. "-a tad hard to assimilate, ya know?" She finished hoping he'd buy it.
She went to grab a cookies when he snatched one up. The first thing she wanted to do after he snatched it was wag her finger at him and cal him out. Marietta! Don't you made those to share anyways. she mentally chided herself. True, it would have been nicer if the boy asked first, but hey what if he missed a meal or something? Maybe hes just really hungry and shes helping out? Marietta would push the bag closer to him and reveal the brownies. "So how about you? What are you doing up here? Also, you may help yourself." She said with a nod towards the treats.
