Gardening System

• Mainly, there will be around 3 meeting for each plant we take care: planting, observing, harvesting
  • Planting Period
    • On the first Saturday of the month, all the club member will be mentioned in a thread at Herbology. We will be starting to do dirt works. Be prepared to get dirty!
    • On the third Saturday, moderator will mention all the club member in a post to remind that we have to clean the mess. All the club member could leave the thread but feel free if we want to hang out for a longer time.
  • Observing Period
    • On the first Saturday of the month, all the club member will be mentioned in a thread at Herbology. We started to observe the plants we have planted.
    • Moderator will roll d10 to determine the condition of the plant of each member.
    • Each member could mention their action what they want to do about the condition of the plant in their post
    • On the second Saturday of the month, the moderator will remind all the member to post their action.
    • On the third Saturday of the month, moderator will roll the dice to determine the outcome of the member's action. At the same time, all the club member could leave the thread but feel free if we want to hang out for a longer time.
  • Harvesting Period

    • On the last Saturday of the month, the member who get the most points will be announced.

  • Plant conditions (d10)
    • 1: dead => Unfortunately, your plant is dead. It means 0 point for you.
    • 2-4: infested by slugs => You need to send your action. If you can eradicate the slugs, you get 1 point. But if you can't, your plant is dead.
    • 5-9: healthy. => Congratulations! Your plant is healthy. You get 2 points.
    • 10: high-condition/quality => Fabulous! Do you have a green thumb? You get 3 points.
  • Actions
    • Taking Care of Plants => If your plant is healthy or high-quaity, you can continue to take care your plant peacefully during the Observing Period.
    • Harvest => If your plant is healthy or high quality, you can harvest it peacefully. Congratulations!
    • Helping Friend => You can help your friend if your plant is dead. You will get 1 point for your contributions.
    • Incendio [WDC 9]
      • d20 + Wisdom to determine whether you successfully cast the spell or not. If the result is lower than 9, you are failed to cast the spell.
      • d20 + Accuracy to determine the probability your spell hit the slugs
      • d20 to determine the slugs' evasion.
      • Your accuracy > slugs's evasion => the spell hit successfully. Your plant is free from infestation
      • Your accuracy < slugs's evasion => the slugs' evade your spell. Your plant is dead.
    • Manually Collect the Slugs (yuck!)
      • d20 + average of (Stamina + Strength) to determine the probability you could protect your plant from the slugs menually
      • Your average (Stamina + Strength) > slugs's evasion => your plant is free from infestation
      • Your average (Stamina + Strength) < slugs's evasion => the slugs' still infest. Your plant is dead.
• Rewards
  • The member who get the most point on specific plant will get 3 chocolate frogs
  • At the end of the year (graduation time), top 3 member will get 5 chocolate frogs and a potion ingredient from The Dogweed and Deathcap.
