EmmaLee speaks with a light French accent.
EmmaLee bounced up and down on her toes excitedly as she and Stephen waited for their turn to enter the doll making tent. While she was particularly excited to be making something today, excited enough to try pottery after this is she had time, she was especially excited that Stephen had agreed to do it with her. For some reason, the mere idea of hanging out with him doing anything really made her smile.
She had found that she enjoyed his company immensely and she was thankful that he was willing to indulge her in this particular activity, though it was, at first glance, clearly not his cup of tea. Hopefully he would find he was having fun as they got started.
The petite girl grinned widely up at her taller friend, although a timely growth spurt on her part since the Royal Ball had closed the gap on their height difference a bit. She punched a small fist into the air as their names were finally called to enter the tent and they made their way inside. "Allons'y!" Let's go! She called with a laugh, giving a slight tug on Stephen's sleeve to urge him forward a little faster as they found their places at the individual crafting tables.
Blue eyes twinkled in even further excitement, it was a wonder the still tiny body could produce any more enthusiasm, as she scanned the options and realized that 'dolls' really meant more like 'plushes'. For a moment, EmmaLee thought about making a dragon as a memoir of her cabin this year, but the moment she saw that she could make a phoenix, her choice was clear. The phoenix was obviously the only logical choice she decided with a curt nod.
EmmaLee grabbed the bag with her selected material and giggled at Stephen's sudden burst of enthusiasm for his own choice of project. She had known that he would have fun with this, even if it was just having fun with friends doing an activity that he didn't particularly enjoy. She was thankful though that he seemed to be starting to have real fun.
As he teased her about said project being a surprise, EmmaLee pouted and puffed her cheeks out in playful indignation. The act of puffing her cheeks out hiding the fact that said cheeks were already rosing up when Stephen called her eyes pretty. She clutched her bag of supplies to her chest and huffed, a giggle escaping her lip as she did.
"How dare," She said, mock-haughtily. "To insinuate that I would peek. Well, you'd better not peek either, Sir Stephen, as my project is now a surprise as well." She continued, making a big show of hiding the bag behind her arm as she 'sneakily' pulled out her supplies and then not hiding her progress on her creation at all as she sorted out the supplies and waited for her own instructions from Cassie.
EmmaLee raised an almost invisible eyebrow as Stephen seemed to second guess his next statement and then make an obvious joke that went cleanly over her head. "That... would be the game we are talking about, yes." She said, obviously confused with a little laugh, shaking her head in amusement. "Regardless, though, I am very glad that you are having fun with this after all." She said with a bright smile, fully dropping her fake offended attitude.

Akina waited patiently for Cassie to enter the tent again. When she did, Cassie complimented her about her spikes and give her further instructions. Akina slowly started to fold the tail, trying to make the dragon as perfect as possible. She could not afford any further mistakes, or else the dragon would collapse, and it would be a waste of origami paper. Then she repeated it three times, like Cassie had instructed her to.
As soon as Cassie left, Akina started to stick the spikes to the body. Akina glanced up when she had done most of them and realized the 'intruder' had asked her what she was making. "A dragon..." Akina quietly answered. She tilted her head sideways and squinted at the creation. It kind of looked more like a dragon, now that she had started adding the spikes. Then the person introduced himself as Hiro Bakugo, but he was usually called Tone. "Akina Briarwood," she said, nodding.
Once again her eyes flew up to his vibrant hair. There was only one person she knew that would dare to dye their hair such a bright color. Akina looked at what Tone was making. "Uh, what are you making?" she asked. She bit her lip. It had come out much ruder than she had intended.

Summer camp hadn't been a complete bust. After some time in her cabin, the plain and soft tones of the Thestral Cabin had grown to her liking. Despite the number of younger students in her cabin, Aisley hadn't really managed to say anything but a few words to the inhabitants of the Thestral cabin. Though she didn't feel like socializing with anyone, from her cabin or outside of her cabin, it was about time the young Ravenclaw did something social.
Waking up earlier than usual, Aisley got ready for her day, making sure to dress in clothes she wouldn't mind getting dirty. Moving towards a mirror, she grabbed her brush from her bag and quickly did her hair in two little braided pigtails, making sure her hair was out of her face. Finishing her look off with her jewelry and the usual eye makeup, Aisley laced up her black Converse and exited the Thestral Cabin.
Walking out of the invisible cabin always drew stares from anyone passing by. Aisley let out a large exhale, rolling her stunning bluish-green eyes before smiling sarcastically at anyone who stared too long at her after she'd exited her home for the month. The fact that people could not get used to the invisible cabin got on her nerves.
Shoving her annoyance out of her mind, the girl began to walk in the direction of the DIY fair, her desired destination. A genuine smile slipped onto Aisley's face as the cozy fruit green tent designated to pottery came into her vision. Walking up to the tent, Aisley pushed a flap aside, the smell of clay and special paints hitting her nose immediately.
A few round desks were scattered around the tent, one taken up by a girl she didn't know. A table in the middle of the tent held all types of tools and special paints that could be used for painting your various creations. Moving towards a desk, Aisley sat down, beginning to brainstorm ideas on what she would make.
"Maybe something for Misty would be worth it..." Aisley thought, tucking a strand of hair that fell from her hairstyle behind her ear. Giving the idea more thought, Aisley gave up on trying to think of something for her small rabbit before the perfect idea popped into her head. "Well, I do need a new paint set," she said to herself, "Why not just make it here instead of having to buy one!"
With an idea planted in her mind, she grabbed a piece of paper and a pencil to map out how exactly she would make her paint set. Moving quickly with her sketches, a cup to put water in, the faint outline of a paintbrush holder, and a paint palette eventually made their way onto the blank paper. All that was left to do was to finish her sketch and get to work.

| ─── | This year's summer camp was pretty fun.
As Akina worked on her creation, it began to take form and Tone could see it was a cool dragon. Just then, she confirmed his suspicion by saying those exact words. "It looks quite nice! I love the black and gold colors!" The nearly fourteen year old told her with a smile. As the two exchanged names with eachother, Akina went back to her creation and Cassie came over to give him some further advice on his own creation. It seemed Cassie had opted to call him by his given name and not his nickname but that was fine with Tone. Whatever the person he was interacting with was comfortable with calling him was fine with him! If given a choice, he'd have preferred Tone but would do anything to make those he interacted with happy. After all, when they were happy they were more inclined to agree to become his friend! The pink haired teen listened as Cassie gave him instructions and advice and nodded. As she left, Tone started to do exactly what she'd advised and began to fold and then stick. It was fun and kind of cool creating things like these dopeass fans! Eventually, after having folded and stuck everything, he was done. But of course, now he would need to wait for Cassie to come over again and double check things over. In the meantime, Tone diverted his attention to Akina. "Ah, I'm making two fans. I wanted one for myself because I thought it would be useful during the summertime. But I also wanted to make one for Sunny, who can't attend summer camp because she's off visiting family." The pink haired thirteen year old told Akina. "Your creation looks pretty much done. Are you going to keep it for yourself, or are you planning on giving it to someone?" He asked, curious of her reply. The girl's tone of voice and words from before didn't bother him much. He was used to all sorts of people. |

It was true, though. Zophyr probably never could have dealt with something like this. Okay, maybe, but not half as well as Cassie. She probably would have been too busy thinking about her own stuff, and wouldn't really have cared about helping the others out. It wasn't that she disliked people... it was more just that she preferred her own company. But learning to make a doll griffin was turning out to be awesome.
Other people were coming and going from the tent, making their own stuffed creations, but Zophyr paid them no mind. If someone approached her, of course, she'd be fine to interact, but for the moment (as usual) she was content with observing. You could learn a lot by observing. Sometimes a lot more than by speaking. Zophyr got back to work. She did what Cassie had told her to, stuffing the cotton in and sewing more of her griffin, before sitting back and admiring her work, waiting for the host to come back.

Mellani was quite excited to know that the other girl, Lorelai was from Castelobruxo. She had been right in guessing that Lorelai was not from Hogwarts.
"Oh, that's cool! I'm not really sure what I like about Hogwarts, but my favorite place in here is definitely the library! It has literally every book that I want to read.", she replies to Lorelai.
"I like your vase", Mellani compliments, looking at Lorelai's vase, which was almost done.
It was then that Cassie walked in for a second time and saw Mellani's sketch. Mellani was somewhat proud that the girl thought it was hard. She loved making everything a challenge, and although she was a kind person, she kind of liker giving Cassie a hard time for all those insults she had thrown Slytherin's way not too long ago.
Mellani follows Cassie's instructions and gets the outer shape, making a hollow sphere first, then carving out the cloud-like shape. She smiled at how it had come out.
Mellani gave a small smile to Lorelai when Lorelai complimented her bed. "Thanks! And yeah, it is a bed", she responded.
"See you around!", Mellani said as Lorelai left the tent. Mellani sat there, awaiting further instructions from Cassie.

| It was a gorgeous summer afternoon. Dappled sun shone through the trees, creating mysterious shadows. The blue sky was dotted with fluffy white clouds that drifted lazily in the gentle breeze. Typical summer style. Camp had proved to be a fun event up to now. Despite being shyer than usual, Xin still managed to communicate with other students without going red. The Dragon cabin was pleasant to say the least, and her dorm mates were friendly enough, especially a boy the same age as Xin. Also an upcoming first year, @Pyxis Hellebore was soon given the nickname Pixie. A nice ring isn’t it? The witch exited her cabin wearing a short pink dress and light brown sneakers. As she wandered along the green fields, Xin used a latte colored ribbon tied her raven-black hair in a high ponytail. She soon came across a cute fruit green tent that brought a smile up to her lips. The wood sign hanging above the entrance simply read - “Pottery,” Xin announced out loud, then quickly blushed a shade of rose as passing students turned and stared. “Oops,” she lowered her voice, “Definitely pottery.” Entering the tent, Xin made herself as unnoticeable as possible and edged to the far end of the place. She was always like this when being in social spaces. Perhaps a pet bowl would be nice. she mused, and grabbed a piece of paper to draw a sketch. A pet bowl for an... er, upcoming pet? | ||

Madi smiled and thanked Cassie for her compliment of Madi's sewing abilities. Cassie continued giving her instructions, and she made a mental note of them as Cassie went through them. So far, this was easier than Madi thought it was going to be.
After Cassie was done, Madi began to do everything Cassie had told her to do. She flipped the Phoenix inside out and began putting the stuffing inside, like Cassie said. After she'd finished, she took the piece of cloth and her needle. She sewed it together and came out with an okay looking tail. She added the cloth scraps with the rest of the stuffing. Then she sewed the tail on the bottom of the body.
She turned the finished Phoenix around to admire it. She thought it looked alright. But as someone who had never made a doll before, it could look like trash. She decided to wait for Cassie to come back to give her the okay that she could take her Phoenix. She took a piece of sketch paper and began to draw her Phoenix on it while she waited. Cassie wasn't in her tent, which meant she was probably helping someone else.

Summer Camp--DIY Fair
Cassie's circle starts once again in Pottery. She is a bit tired by now. It is quite hot and some sweat is on her forehead. She can see that Mellani Miller has already finished molding her pottery. She nods with a smile. 'Very well, now it's time for you to colour it.' she says, handing her a paint brush and some paint. 'Paint carefully and lightly. If you use too much strength ot might be hurt. Also, do not touch the pottery with your hands. Have fun! After painting, you'll be ready to go!'
There are two new girls now, and she walks to them. 'Hello darling,' she says in a nice soft voice. 'I am Cassie and I will be teaching you two pottery here. Your names please.' Cassie waits as they tell her their names. 'Fang Yun-Xin and Aisley Solace. Nice names, very pretty. Now, please tell me what you are making. Fang, you first. A pet bowl? Okay, and Aisy? A paint set... wow, that's a new idea! Alrighty, let's get started, girls!'
She walks to Fang first, and gives her some clay, and some clay to Aisley too. 'Aisy, start molding the clay with those tools, try to make them as similar to your imaginary paint set as you can, I will help you later. As for Fang, put the clay on the desk, good, and tap this button to let it spin, now, you can spin the clay and mold it to a round shape. Get your finger in at the top to make the hole in the middle, see? This should leave you nice with molding the bowl.'

Summer Camp--DIY Fair

I was glad when the girl responded to my attempt at conversation and/or small talk, because I knew there were so many students around my age that I hadn't met yet. I wasn't determined to meet them all, but I really wanted to start interacting with more people in summer camp outside my cabin. "Oh, hi! Yeah, I am. Are you?" I grinned and responded with, "I sure am! This is my first summer camp, and I'm really enjoying it so far!"
I easily curbed my enthusiasm and looked at the different materials spread around me. I was about to ask for the girl's name when the instructor came over. She introduced herself as Cassie. Upon having to give my name, I replied, "Aurora Henderson, 2nd year Hufflepuff! People usually call me Ro, though." Minus the "Henderson" part, which was quite recent, this was my "standard" introduction...? I hadn't thought to establish one until now.
Cassie asked if I knew how to sew. "A little..." After being shown how to sew the dragon, and I took the sewing needle and started to sew around the two bits of cloth provided. I had heard from some people that sewing was easy to learn, and it really was, I just wasn't entirely proficient in it. Concentrating on not pricking myself with the needle, I sewed around the cloth just as Cassie had demonstrated.
