There is something dainty about her features, as though she is a doll brought to life. Her blue eyes are kind, and she has a quick and easy smile that is easily brought out of her, giving her the impression of someone who can be trusted. She is rather slim, and stands at 4'10. Ayla's ears are pierced, and she likes to wear different combinations of jewelry every day. She has an extensive wardrobe with many different kinds of clothes, due to her family's connections to the fashion world, and although she isn't obsessed with collecting famous brands like her cousin Twyla, she does like to look nice and will buy anything that she thinks is going to be both comfortable and fashionable, rarely settling for just one. Ayla's style is very feminine, and she tends to dress in skirts and dresses more than anything else. personality Ayla has had the privilege of growing up within a supportive, healthy family and hasn't faced many hardships in her life, thus, she is a fairly happy kid and still views the world through rose-coloured glasses. She has a strong moral compass and is naturally kind, brought up with gentle words and genuine love, and she will always offer her help if anyone happens to need it. Despite often being in the spotlight, Ayla is actually quite a passive person; it just so happens that life seems to push her towards those roles instead of making her work for it. She is yet to fully recognize and understand her privilege. Due to her level-headed and tolerant nature, Ayla is easily likeable, although she is not one to actively seek out an extremely large friend group. She is an introvert who likes people, happy to socialise so long as her friends are also there. A few social cues go over her head a little sometimes; for example, Ayla does not particularly understand the concept of being disliked, instead attributing such behaviour to that person having a bad day. Although she feels no need to pretend to be someone that she is not, Ayla cannot help but be reminded every day that there is always something to be improved on - after all, she has five older sisters who are all exceptional in their own way. As a result, she can seem a little obsessed over her hobbies at times when she is practicing for hours or doing research on how to improve herself, determined to fashion herself into a worthy Flores sister.

They lived in the centre of the city, near the Ministry where Sebastian worked, and it was safe to say that Liz and Theo had a wonderful childhood. She was the golden child and apple of her father’s eye, showing promise in Quidditch and her studies, which was why it came as a surprise to all when she developed an unusually dedicated taste for Muggle culture halfway through her years at Hogwarts. This interest was shared with her best friend Melissa Whittaker, who, for the record, would later date and marry Theo. Liz and Mel were both purebloods with absolutely 0 experience with the Muggle world aside from Muggle Studies class, yet they spent their gap year together exploring and learning about it, a dream come true. Early on, they were scouted at a shopping mall for a modelling agency, and Liz’s experiences as a model in the Muggle world ignited her passion for fashion. Upon the completion of their gap year, Liz transitioned herself back into the wizarding world before landing herself more modelling contracts with magazines such as Witch Weekly. She continued to build upon her career in fashion in both worlds, having fallen in love with both fashion styles and norms. She wrote articles, critiqued fashion shows, and even dabbled in makeup. In this time, Liz quickly realised that as fun as modelling was, she wanted to design clothes as well, and thus began her designer clothing brand, which grew in popularity rapidly through the years. Towards the end of 2006, Liz married her childhood best friend, Cassius Leopold, in a beautiful wedding in Italy, one that was heavily publicised in various magazines, and settled down together in a large, beautiful mansion in Brighton with the intention of starting a family. She kept her own surname, as per the Flores tradition of keeping your name regardless of gender, and Cassius happily changed his instead. They would have their first child the following August, and continued to have six more after that. Neither of them ever gave up their careers, instead choosing to try and balance work and family as best as they could. ayla, pre-hogwarts Ayla was their sixth and second-last child, born in September 2011. She wanted for nothing from the day she was born, with Liz and Cassius making sure that their childrens’ lives were nothing short of perfect. Anything she wanted, she could have, and although her parents were often busy and their attention was usually split into sevenths, she never felt unloved or ignored. Ayla was always surrounded by people she loved, with her parents’ connections enabling her to have a wide social network, and of course, there were always her sisters. Much to Liz’s chagrin, none of the Flores children ever expressed any real interest in fashion. That was, until a four-year-old Ayla asked to come to work with her and instantly fell in love with her world. From then on, she started to model for her mother’s clothing line, as well as Witch Weekly and particular Muggle brands that Liz and Mel seemed to like. Nepotism played a vital role in how Ayla got her start in her early career, with her mother's connections in both worlds offering her boundless opportunities, but it was apparent to everyone that she was a natural. It was initially difficult to keep track of the differences between the Muggle and wizarding world's systems when it came to modeling, but like her mother, Ayla was a fast learner and was soon able to cope fairly well in a Muggle setting (although most slang and pop culture references will still go over her head.) Ayla was not particularly outspoken or confident in real life, but on camera she practically shone, and as a result, she began to land small roles on TV, little feature roles with a few lines or playing the younger versions of characters. She found herself enjoying acting and performing more than expected, and with her first cousin, Twyla, she joined an amateur theatre company in London and further honed her craft there. She occasionally appeared on posters and in magazines, or perhaps in the background of a movie, but it was true that she could never be called famous or well-known - mostly due to her mother's insistence on balance, to ensure Ayla had a proper childhood, and most importantly, to make sure she never became self-inflated. Ayla had certainly had a few tastes of stardom and had spent a lot of her childhood in the 'spotlight', but it was mostly within a smaller social group of people, and besides, she was only one child, albeit talented, amongst many, many others. Throughout her childhood, she became extremely close with Twyla, partly due to their shared interest in fashion, but also because their mothers took their being born 2 months apart to mean that they were destined to be best friends. Ayla wholeheartedly agreed and thought of her cousin as her best friend - even their names were sort of similar! (Although, it was true that at times, she suspected that Twyla did not share this sentiment.) Due to their children’s promising start to their budding careers, Liz and Mel began to subtly imply that the two would be better off homeschooled for the remainder of their childhood instead of going to Hogwarts, where they would have to put a pause on it all. Ayla was content with this arrangement, but to her surprise, Twyla secretly seemed to like the idea of the two of them attending Hogwarts. The more Twyla talked about it, the more Ayla found herself wanting to go as well, envisioning the two of them walking through the hallways arm-in-arm like their mothers once had. There would be more kids, too, and more opportunities to make new friends and meet people from different backgrounds. She could still pursue modelling and acting after Hogwarts if she wanted to, Twyla said. Ayla also knew that where Twyla went, she went; they’d been together all their lives, and she realised that she didn’t want to be the one left behind. So the summer before they turned eleven, they made a pact. “If you go to Hogwarts, I go to Hogwarts.” Her parents weren't hard to convince. They were Hogwarts alumni, after all, and although Liz was slightly surprised, her daughter's happiness was of course far more important to her than her career, especially at such a young age. When the letter arrived on her 11th birthday, Ayla was enrolled in Hogwarts, and on September 1st, she followed her cousin onto the train for a whole new adventure. first instance of magic At Twyla's sixth birthday party, Ayla had grabbed what she thought was a chocolate chip muffin from one of the tables, only to find out it contained raisins, her least favourite food, while taking the first bite.
