Ravenclaw vs Gryffindor - Winter 2023
It was honestly a miracle that Gryffindor was still in the game, and that Ravenclaw hadn't caught the snitch yet. Cecily couldn't help but be impressed that the two lone Lions were still flying after a walloping hit from Jorah. They were stubborn, sure, but they could only hang on for so long before they fell prey to Ravenclaw's superior talent and strategy. This was something she told herself as she found herself exhausted and praying this match would end. They'd dragged it on long enough, and that snitch could catch itself for all she cared. She just wanted to go eat lunch.

Ravenclaw vs Gryffindor - Winter 2023
Matt felt himself beaming in spite of the odds as he and Pax manage to claw some points back. Despite the fact it seemed they were just prolonging the inevitable, this was probably the most fun introduction to the Gryffindor team he could hope for.
That was until the smile was wiped from him after being struck by an opponent's bludger. His eyes fogged up, the air having shot from his lungs as he clutched at his side with his left hand. If it wasn't for the fact the Captain of the team was seated on the same broom he may have allowed himself to fall, to surrender. But he didn't, he wouldn't. Sucking in air through gritted teeth he sped his broom onward, into whatever may come their way.

Edward was still feeling dizzy from the bludger. Also sharing a broom with Edme is so much different from sitting on his own broom. He wondered whether it was broken or not and tried to stay on the broom. He was slowly getting cleared and gained back to focus, ready to go after the snitch, if it was still there.

How were the duo of lions still on their brooms, even after Jorah's powerful bludger? Ebony couldn't help admiring how the two of them persevered in the midst of chaos, even though they were the only reds left on the Quidditch Pitch. True Gryffindors. They had gained a couple of points as well, even though Winnie still managed to grab the Quaffle from time to time.

Dammit, obviously she was off her game, what other explanation could there be for her missing the Quaffle multiple times? Grinding her teeth Winnie narrowed her eyes towards Pax and Matthew. Shouldn't they be focused on finding the snitch or something?! There was no way they could win purely through point gain... Right? Where was the damn snitch anyways?

Edme grimaced as she realized she had left a player hanging. Her thoughts were so scrambled about, focusing on the heat of the match and the exhilaration of being so close to winning, she had forgotten that she still needed to pay attention to the little details of the game.
She exhaled slowly, focusing back on her own plays. There was only so much time left in the match, she just had to push through for a little longer. A faint feeling in her center crept in, and she realized that she was actually quite hungry. After the match, she’d definitely be grabbing something to eat and heading straight to bed.

There was the sound of a door being blasted in and the sound of someone yelling.
"Palmer!!!"
The announcer's voice abruptly shifted into a heavy Irish accent.
"Ah shite!!"
Then the sound of a bird's shriek from further away. If anyone cared to look at the announcer's booth, they would see a majestic Peregrine Falcon flying full speed away from the Quidditch Pitch.
RESULTS:
Cecily took the Quaffle and scored every time, earning 50 points to Ravenclaw!
Winnie failed to blatch Paxtthew, and is on penalty lap. Yes. Even though the match is over. Get to it.
Jorah blasted the two off their broom and shattered it.
Edward and Edme caught the snitch!
Everyone finally got to leave the stadium and pee.
